I recently bought a used MINI from Stratstone Derby, Natalie Hawk was brilliant throughout the whole process from start to finish. She was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and efficient but not pushy. Buying a car during a lockdown in the pandemic could have been a very difficult experience but she made it a positive one. Would highly recommend both a MINI and Stratstone Derby.

My whole experience from the initial visit and test drive to collecting my car has been brilliant. Natalie Hawk is fab. She is knowledgeable about the cars and options you can have, she is friendly and never pushes for the sale. She has kept me up to date every step of the way from order to collection and the day I collected my car it was ready with the roof down and a big bow on the front ???? I would certainly recommend mini and Natalie!

Had to return following service & MOT in June as using oil. Jessica extremely helpful but not happy with explanation. Believe changed oil then undertook necessary repair but didn't check oil level again. Also, didn't check tyre pressure or valet as indicated.

Having changed brands a few years back I wanted to return to BMW (Mini)and had started to look on Carwow for a new Countryman. I also contacted Stratstone Deby Mini to arrange a test drive as they’re were closer and also gave them the opportunity to quote for the deal too. To my surprise they beat all Carwow quotes that I had received and were more generous on the trade in so I ordered the car. Having then gone in to Tier 3 I was concerned that I would have a delay in getting the car but all worked out well. I had previously been a Stratstone customer and was very impressed by the customer service I received from the team in Derby. Even with all the COVID restrictions the showroom was well presented and although a little quieter than usual it was a great experience. A particular shout or to Natalie Hawk who supported my order and carried it through to delivery. Natalie was great, really friendly, patient and professional throughout.

I have had no issues bought the car and serviced there for 3 years but recently service has been very poor. I rang 5 times within the space of a month trying to book a service with the receptionist saying I would receive a call back from the service team but never did. So I have ended having to book a service at Chesterfield which is a hours drive away from me, really unhappy with this and it would make me think twice about purchasing from this garage again...

Spoke to Natalie about looking to part exchange my existing mini last Monday. Said she would call me back on Wednesday. The phone call never happened. Mini Derby can obviously cherrypick who they sell cars to and who their customers are. Poor show!!

Last week, following a service at an independent garage, it came to my attention that there is a potential electrical fault under the bonnet of my Mini Cooper Diesel. I have called 'Stratsone MINI Derby' four times over the last week to try and get the car booked in... on each of the four occasions I have been told that someone will consult the diary and call me back, yet this has never been followed up. Terrible service!!

I visited Stratstone Mini on 24/2/19 and met with Chris, with the intention of purchasing a 19 plate mini convertible. I was given inconsistent information, poor customer service, no negotiation, zero dealer contribution and was given a story that they were closing for two weeks during brexit, which other dealers thought was absurd. My feeling is I was being taken for a fool and demonstrated to me a lack of empathy and respect. Confirmed all I had previously been told about Stratstone which other reviews seem to reflect. Training needed with a focus on customer service and some enthusiasm wouldn’t go amiss!

Picked up our new MINI Cooper 5 door hatch today ????. Really happy with the car and the way it was prepared for us. We were SO well looked after by Tom Jordan. Customer service was excellent. Tom was great throughout the process - made us feel really special and didn’t try and ‘sell’ us a car, he just helped us buy one. He made sure the whole process was really easy and fun and proactively kept us informed with updates and photos as the pre-delivery preparation was underway. Nothing was too much trouble, and there was no hard sell - Tom just wanted to help us find the best car and deal for us. Great to deal with someone who clearly loves what he does and who had so much energy and enthusiasm. The MINI experience at Stratstone Derby was great - highly recommend.

The customer service is really good but I have some issues with regard to repairs. Following a problem with my 4 year old mini I took it in to be checked out that cost £120. Then they suggest i need to spend almost another £1.5k to fix it! I wanted to give the dealer the opportunity but have a local mechanic friend that has reviewed their findings and say they are way over the top. Replacing a manifold instead of cleaning etc etc. In my opinion they look to replace rather than fix. I will be writing to mini directly to question why a dealership believes they need to charge that amount on a car that's 4 years old because if they do who would ever buy one? I did also if it was anything we'd done they said no. Original cost of the car was over £20k.

We have just experience what can only be described as the WORST customer care/service one can imagine, if I could leave no stars or even negative stars that would have been our choice. We had intended buying a used mini coupe and the initial contact ect was ok by a guy called Kevin but after he handed the sale over to a guy called Chris it just went downhill on a monumental scale. He never contacted us to say he had taken over our sale and when we tracked down our new representative on the Fri he said that the body shop would look at two little marks on the Mon and the vehicle would be ready for collection on Tues or Wed. He then had no contact until I called on the Wed evening and then said the the two tiny chips " couldn't be done as it would look worse after than before " this we found quite astonishing. He then said that the vehicle would be ready Thurs or Fri and would call to confirm a collection time. We waited and waited and waited no call came so we decided on the Friday morning to go down and collect the car as it must be ready . We arrived at about 10am and the car had not been touched, no valet , no chips touched up not even a sold sign in the window even after 9 days !! we still decided to take the vehicle anyway if they provided a touch up stick and I would do it myself then to top it all off " we cant provide one as there is no money in the vehicle " so after this we just walked away and left the sale , the manager ( that we asked to see) or Chris the guy who was supposed to be looking after our sale never even made an appearance even the young guy dealing with us didn't seem interested in the slightest to try and rectify things and keep the sale.We actually felt like the enemy not customers. q If our deposit is not refunded VERY quickly we will take things further. Our advice would be go shop elsewhere there are plenty of places with great customer care . This place is the pits ! If the dealer principle would like to discuss the failings of her team I am more than happy to have a chat or at least take on board what seems to be a continuing issue and not keep posting replies to negative feedback as though something will actually be done . Stratstone you should be ashamed of yourselves !

Went in here with my partner today wanting to buy a mini .... Said to the sales executive "Jamie" or what ever he was what we was after... budget deposit monthly ect.... he didn't seem interested in the slightest... was never offered a test drive... was never even offered a drink.... and I thought stratstone was supposed to be brilliant in customer service!!! Absolutely appalling!!! Asked about new car deposit contributions.... they knew nothing I understand being new and what not.... but never even offered to go and ask and find out... certainly won't be reccomending them to family and friends. Thankyou! Found a great deal elsewhere

I bought a 'used approved' mini from Derby Stratstone a little over a year ago. During my first year they covered it with a warranty and it spent most its time in their garage with various problems which they never seemed able to fix as they always came back. A few months out the warranty now and I've just paid £750 in repairs (including a new battery which was problematic since buying but Stratstone never 'identified') with additional problems now found with the fuel injector (recently identified as the source of one of my on going issues which I took it to Stratstone for repeatedly, although a common issue with minis the age of mine Stratstone again couldn't 'identify it'). The fuel injector is likely to cost me another £500 to replace, which I can't afford and I honestly don't know what I'm going to do now. I should have bought a bike and never set foot in Stratstone Mini.

Had an appointment to test drive 2 mini's, drove over 70 miles, only to find out that someone else was being taken out for a test drive in the vehicle at our alloted time. Looked at mini number 2, asked for a test drive to be told that the vehicle was not ready for test drives. What a waste of time, petrol and energy. And got passed from one sales assistant to another. Don't bother making appointments, priority is given to those who just walk in off the street at that moment in time.
