There is no way this company is the “largest BMW and mini specialist” I’ve had poor communication from him regarding an engine. This trader sells bits on eBay this his business address you can see in the picture!

Nice website, however mediocre distance sales service and poor communication. I bought a second hand body part from them. As carefully explained to the salesman I was looking for a part (door trim) which wouldn't have surface blemishes and didn't require refurbishment otherwise it would be useless to me. Despite the given assurances the supplied part came with dings. Called the guy about the return several times with no luck (whenever i called, the chap was not available). A colleague if his passed the message, that if I wanted to return the would slap on a rather illegal fee of 20%, however they would check if they had a replacement and get back to me. This did not happen and i'm tired of trying to get in touch with them. On the plus note the item arrived swiftly and well packed. Might be a good garage but their online/distance service is poor.

Got my M140i serviced here. Very competitive prices compared to other BMW approved garages. Updated iDrive via key with service information. Expedited my service while I waited, however had courtesy cars should I have needed/wanted one. Didn't have my particular oil filter in stock, but ordered straight away, got the other work done and had it delivered and fitted within 2 hours. Overall positive experience and worth driving out to.

Been using these guys for years and must say they could teach the BMW Sytner main dealers a thing or two about customer service and putting the customer first. No job too big or small and always at hand to offer a decent coffee whilst you wait. I have used their car recovery service and happy with that too. Trust them with your car and enjoy years of trouble free motoring. Thanks to the lads in the workshop who always meet the tight timescales and work around me. ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I was first quite impressed with the service from BMcentre. I, unfortunately had the timing chain snap on my E92 N47D20C engine. I wasn't too keen on having a reconditioned/salvaged engine fitted; this was discussed as one of the potential options for me, but ideally I wanted my engine repaired. I spoke to Tommy (my car was at Sytner who quoted an absurd diagnosis charge) and he was very helpful in arranging it to go from Sytner Birmingham to the BMcentre located in Leicester. After the diagnosis I was told that my engine was in a terrible state, everything had been 'smashed to pieces' and I would require a reconditioned/salvaged engine. I asked the technician to tell me exactly what damage had been caused to the engine and all I received was attitude from him on the phone; words to the effect of "do you really want me to strip the engine down - that will take me ages." I still do not know how they came to this diagnosis (which cost me two hours of labour) when they told me the only thing they had done was taken the rocker cover off and the injectors out 'for my inspection'. Although not a mechanic, I'm a car enthusiast and therefore I know that to assess a timing chain failure and any damage that this has caused to the engine; this 'diagnosis' by BMcentre was most certainly inconclusive and I was quickly under the impression that they were reserved to pushing me into having a new engine fitted. I constantly had to ring for updates on the situation regarding my car. Unfortunately this was one of the worst case scenarios for me as I ultimately did not want a reconditioned/salvaged engine to be fitted in my car. Prior to them collecting my car we went through some options, (should my car have required an engine only after a proper diagnosis) prices for labour and fitting of the reconditioned/salvaged engines. It was only after they had my car did they tell me that everything was subject to VAT where prior to them having my car there was no mention of this - so my initial £2680 quote would be in excess of £3000. Ultimately, if your timing chain snaps and you want to keep your engine, don't go to BMcentre. Unfortunately we are living in a throw away generation with less skilled 'specialists' to assess damage where the easier option for them is to replace and not repair. After this nightmare experience which cost £252 for absolutely nothing, I had my car sent to an engine specialist - who stripped the engine down, assessed the damage correctly and quoted me correctly for a top end engine repair. This is something that I thought BMcentre was capable of doing but clearly not.

What more can I say!? Absolutely BRILLIANT service, Roy really knows his stuff.. An absolute credit to the firm. Shout out to Paul and Mick who always stuck in to ensure all was covered and I was looked after. Had forgotten around £400 in cash & top of the range iPod in car, needless to say, all still there when got home. Honesty and integrity is clearly evident! I would absolutely recommend this place who truly appreciate a truly remarkable service and top honest approach to carrying out any work on your beloved Beemer. Oh - one more thing - I was not ripped off for a 'full ghost service' as wasn't due one, so, again, didn't rip me off, thanks Roy! My place to go and should be yours! Sorry - 2 weeks late for the review - Been abroad! Silver E91 330i Daniel

A Ferris Bueller's Day Off Experience. The BM Centre clearly know their way around a BMW mechanically. However, after leaving my car with them for a major service, when it was time to collect it, I was notified that it required a new MAF sensor and one would need to be ordered from Sytner for Monday morning so I left the car with them over the weekend so they could sort the MAF as soon as it arrived; big mistake. When I delivered the car for the service (E46 330ci Sport Convertible) it was totally clean with a near full tank of petrol. When I collected it I noticed that the car was covered in sandy rain blotches and wheel arch mud splatter, light tree debris on the roof, heavy brake dust coating the wheels and slightly over a quarter of a tank of fuel used; they also reset the mileometer to zero, which I never do between fill-ups and when I went to wash it the following day I found a paint star blister the size of a 50p coin on the top section of the rear bumper with a distortion bump in the underlying plastic below it, and the bumper is now slightly loose, so it had clearly been reversed into something or visa versa. So yes, they know what to do with a BMW spanner but unfortunately cannot be trusted to look after your pride and joy believing instead that they can do what they like with it. Just because it was left in their charge over a weekend, does not give them the right to wrag it around for personal use. My bill from them was over £900, and now I have to pay a body-shop another £350 to fix their damage. One has to wonder, If you cannot trust them to look after your property, can you trust that all of the work was done correctly if at all?

*Excellent Customer service, polite and very intelligent unlike main dealers who get kids to do services and fault finding using youtube. I have used this place for many years and parts are reasonably priced and they seem to know everything under the sun. keep up the outstanding work and i will continue to bring my car for services. Well done lads, highly recommend to any BMW owners who wants a proper service. 10/10*

Travelled 90 miles (each way) to get a front wing after they said they had one in good condition. Cheyenne said they would put it to one side for my collection next day (and to ask for Paul as "he will know where it has been put") Got there to be told they didn't have it. Thank you very much Cheyenne...Not!

Been back here again, was dealt with professionally and honestly, with an endless supply of tea! The service was comprehensive, the mechanic Roy knows his stuff BMW! The car drives fantastically now, smooth boost, with better MPG. I can't recommend these guys enough, even though they are miles out of my way (I live in Nottingham), I will not go anywhere else for my Beemer. Speaks volumes.

I love my Beemers, but sadly cannot say the same for the dealers. Sytner have repeatedly failed to meet my expectations and, most recently, missed a minor but obvious fault in my X3 that ended up costing me thousands to fix due to their poor advice and workmanship (for which they took no responsibility). I turned to the BM Centre for help. Tom, the owner, went to great lengths to sort me out and, as a result, I will certainly be taking my three BMWs here from now on. Very knowledgeable and friendly team, use genuine OEM parts, have all the tech to properly diagnose beemers, and labour prices that are considerably lower than the main dealer.
