Purchased a product off of eBay for click and collect from this branch. Went in to collect met by a young lady who could not find my parcel as I had no bar code and sent me away. I had another code from eBay and returned to store spoke with a young man who also couldn’t find my product. He passed me to another lady. I explained what had happened. She then told me it had past the collection date. She went to look for the product and found it.
She told me that due to the company policy she was unable to release the goods to me. She had to return the product back to the seller. Despite asking for my product she would not release it to me. I took a photo of the parcel in store with her hand on it. It has not been received by the seller. Apparently they don’t record returns out and dates of postage.
So I’ve paid for a product but not received due to incompetence of staff. Seller stating non return of product so I’m out of pocket. Well done store. Won’t be using you again and will be chasing you for my losses.

Purchased an item which advised next day collection.. Went to collect item and was served by an extremely rude lady who said that they hadn't had time to unload it. Very rude and very unhelpful. Will
never shop there again.
It must happen alot my parents said the same thing happened to them.. Do argos not train their staff on basic customer service?

Poor service. Ordered an item for next daypick up, went to collect it and was told it hadn't been taken of the trolley yet so they couldn't find it on the selves. The item was 1.5m in length it was a rather large item, but they couldn't seem to find it. Pretty much it was a wasted trip, cancelled the order the next day after it still wasn't ready 2 days later

Went to collect an ebay package on my too short a lunchbreak . Waited behind a lady in front of me. She was served promptly and as the assistant turned to serve me, another couple came up behind me. The assistant asked if they were Fast Track. They said they were so the assistant turned to me and said she'd serve them first and I'd have to wait. WTAF? All I wanted was my package and id be on my way. The Great British queue is sadly a thing of the past . I've often shopped at Argos down the years,all my family have but that's it for me. Never again. Ive never been so embarrassed in a store before and made to feel quite unworthy.

Handy for picking up argos bits and as in Sainsbury's can do a bit of food shopping at the same time. Downside is they don't carry much stock, but can usually be ordered in same or next day.
