Overnight parking and illegally parked semi trucks have no repercussions it seems 10 trucks on small street where there are posted signs no overnight parking but yet they are there constantly and obstructing traffic so creates a danger around a turn someone is going to get hurt . Trade St by a dealership . It would be nice if there were ticketed and towed like regular cars would be . Plus not to mention that they are getting paid to deliver goods and get free parking for semi trucks but every other company pays for a lot. Posted warning on one that's been there 3 weeks I know it not a priority but God forbid someone gets serious injury because of those trucks not being where they supposed to be . Please enforce parking for illegally parked trucks and trailers left without a truck on side streets !!!

If I have to give, I’ll give -5 star. I had 2 instances, where I have to call the cops for help and support and tip of that I left a message for the officer who gave me number to call, seem they forget that why they really join the police department. I have been ignored when I was talking to them and didn’t listen my complaint. Some one said on review that Aurora police needs to fire everyone and hire who really understand the law and constitution of America.

Not good I was there to file a complaint because the same officer has came 2 times to my house with my family member who has a emergency order of protection. 2 times one time resulting in someone being hurt . I go to file a complaint and it was a hard time.

During the protesting that was going on in downtown aurora I came home from working both my jobs around 12:03 midnight to be told by police that I was not allowed to gain access to my apartment building, then I called the front desk non emergency number to get a rude guy on the phone telling me to find the best way on my own. So I had to drive back to my second job and now just sitting here until my boss comes so I can explain why I can’t work today. I will definitely be filing a complaint against adp and the city of aurora as I understand we were in a tough predicament however I had identification to prove residency there meaning there was no reason to put me under more stress. It’s outrageous

They helped. Sure it takes awhile. I get that. Most officers I know are great!. Only one reason I'm posting this.. 15 kids ran through my private property. 2 of them ran BACK into my private property. 2 of them tried to fight me in daylight when I refused them back into my private property. Called 911 and all they said was we're working on it. Not one cop showed up. I can't believe it.

So I constantly see and hear cars on Indian trail by randall racing and being reckless and there are never police around, how nice it would be if someone was around to get these people because its getting bad but as usual police are no where to be found as always

I slid into a ditch off of Butterfield road The officer who showed up said he didn't want to leave me so close to the road during rush hour.
He ended up staying with me untill the tow truck showed up and pulled my car out of a ditch wich amounted to over a hour and a half.
I am sure they were busy at 7:30 in the morning. This officer showed me what a wonderful police department we have in the city of Aurora.
I just thought I owed him a thank you for his above and beyond service in my time of need.

Their front desk is useless. I called in for information that they refused to give. I spoke to 5 other police departments in the time it took me to speak to them. Their excuse is that they are a big city, I'm aware that it is a big city. I am also aware that they have the biggest department in the area. I'm not sure why they believe on person at the front desk is enough. They refused my information request by saying it's the law. They could not name the law because of course they don't know the law. 5 other police departments including the sheriff's department were willing to answer but apparently Aurora is the only place that follows the law. The Sargent asked "Would you rather have more officers in the building or on the streets" as though the police even do anything. I've only made the mistake of calling the police for help once and I won' repeat it. They were just as useless then as they are now.

Excellent police department for a large suburb. They were of great assistance back when I was younger, and continue to be, even now being a bit older. The front desk is always so helpful. There was a road hazard I reported today, and an officer showed up within 2 minutes and handled the issue. Excellent care for the community and its’ safety.

This police department is great! Their response time is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Someone was breaking into our home and the Aurora police departments response time quickly surrounded the suspects and were able to apprehend them

Some cops are cool and cool to talk too! But when u get put in they have nothing to do they all sit there doing nothing except giving each other hand jobs! They try to find any little thing to put u in the book so they get there pay! + lie there asses off they never gave me a phone call + Every 30minets they said someone was going to be there to pick me up I waited there for 7hrs until they called someone I knew to pick me up!

I want to give thaks to that officer who gave a good advice to my daughter. She recently lost her wallet while going to meet a person who was selling an item on the internet. Then, she lost her wallet. Aurora Police Department called my dauhgter to informed her that the station had her wallet. When my daughter went to pick up her wallet, an officer gave her a good advice to her, and I was glad that the officer was mad at my daughter. He told her to be careful while making deal with people over the internet, knowing that she is pregnant, it worried him that she went and made a transaction with a person she didn't even knew. The officer told her that be careful and that remember the young girl who got killed while pregnant by this people who killed her. I told my daughter that I congrat the officer who got mad at you for going by herself to pick up items from people over the internet. I said to my daughter, always meet people at the police depatment parking lot, or near by. Then she told what the officer told her. And that is why I want to thank that officer who I do not know his/her name, but have my daughter a good lesson. I live in Des Moines Iowa, and I only wanted to say thank you very much officer for worrying about a pregnant young lady, that is my daughter. Stay safe and God bless you, as I am not near my daughter's to protect them, but you did. Thanks to the Aurora Police Department and all Departments in the entire country who do a good job in serving and protecting our community and families. God bless all.

I have had to call for various reasons. From domestic to gun shots. The Police come and have been as helpful as they can be. I can't understand why people treat them all like the worst case scenario! Thank you to the great officers who helped me get my phone back! I expected "just file a report" but they actually went to the building where my GPS said my phone was. They did not get it back at that moment but within the hour! Called me back and met me to pick it up. Polite, courteous and helpful. So impressed. They have to deal with all kinds of people and their attitudes were positive and great.

Detective was working on my case and never got back to me. I believed in doing the right thing and reporting a stolen iPad and I ended up getting bit in the butt and being out of 200 cash. Guess they don’t care about doing the right thing.
