I applied for a loan and was turned down, really no problems, I accepted without any resent, they did a good job researching, but then a week later I get a call asking if I was still interested in the loan. I can tell I really had my hopes up, but once we spoke I had reminded them they turned me down and this was not a game to me to get my hopes ups. I am great full of what they do and I completely understand, but to tease me to just kick me again is hurtful.

My experience has been really very good. I should call out that my pre-owned car loan was 100% handled by Patricia Holder, who I can't say enough good things about. As an out-of-state CA buyer, my situation was a bit unusual and not without its warts, but Patty made everything very comfortable for me from the get go. She was super responsive with all documents and in answering my questions, working weekend mornings and late after hours to deliver documents and updates. Especially so as we hit a hard bump in the process, Patty was incredibly responsive and compassionate and kept everything on track, for which I am so grateful. Thank you Patty & MACU!

I really like this CU but, I find they are not very responsive to calling back. I waited several times for a call back for some information, that to me, was very important. TO THEM not so important !! NO IT WAS NOT IN THE LAST WEEK !!! LAST YEAR: YES.

I decided to move all my accounts personal and business from a large bank that I had been with for over twenty years. I am very pleased with my experience at the Mesa office. The Manager has been outstanding, always available to answer any questions. Also refinancing my home mortgage and have received wonderful service from the loan officer.

I don't want rate this again, as I have done once, but I am not sure who else to contact at this point. I have not heard anything back from Escalation team regarding my refinance. The Credit was pulled for the second time and no one discussed the results with me. I sent the Bank Manager an email asking what the situation is and no response from anyone. Can someone please look into this. I am the one who had an error in Credit report and after it was lifted, the credit score went up to Excellent Status. Thanks you

So ingnorant and one month later, this sad credit union tried to deposit the same check again (3rd time) in my account! My bank talked about them being dim witted and unprofessional and put a red flag on any future transactions from them.

I love this bank just open an account on Halloween in mesa location do not remember the name but her costume was batman she was very nice very helpful and i go every Monday to make a deposit and everyone is very nice as i walk in i get hi how are you and everyone with a big smile I've had other bank's but now i have just one thank you!!!! And i even got mu brother to get an account and he haaaattteeees banks and he said he love's it

Currently have a loan with this bank. Over the last few months I have made the payments a few days early. I later found out that they have been taking that early payment as an "extra" payment and not my monthly payment. I did not realize this until I checked my credit report and because of them my credit has dropped over 60 points. Have tried calling to get them to fix it as I have NEVER missed a payment but they say they will take care of it and call me back. I do NOT get call backs. Please avoid this bank!!!!!

This bank seemed like a miracle when I needed an auto loan in a tough time, but it has turned out to be a financial wasteland. They do not care about my account at all, they do not communicate between their own staff and I have yet to have someone call me back after saying they would. Last straw, they over charged a card I used for loan payment by an additional $1,000 over the course of 2 weeks and it took over an hour and 3 phone calls to get it straightened out. Nobody seemed too concerned about it other than me. This loan should not be as complicated as it has become in the first place, and the complications have caused me to use their customer service which has been consistently poor. I'll be paying off my loan and staying far, far away.

I joined MACU 28 years ago. I was a newly divorced single mom and couldn't find a bank that would give me an auto loan. MACU approved me and I've been a loyal member ever since! But loyalty goes both ways, and I've had nothing but great service from them, too.

We went in on a recommendation by two RV dealers. We are already seven year members with another credit union in the Valley. When we waked in, we received acknowledgement from several of the employees and a big smile from, who we later would find out was Connie (who was in a meeting with two employees), the branch manager. We came in to find out about getting a loan for a motorhome we wanted to purchase. We were helped by Nancy who was very friendly and within a short time, we walked out as new motorhome owners. Nancy also explained about the benefits of joining Mountain America Credit Union which for us were many compared to our C.U. We are going to switch over all of our banking to Mountain America Credit Union now. Thank you for your friendliness and care.

Do not go here, if you lose your card and you do not use your account for about a month or two they will not let you get another debit card for a few weeks until there are deposits into the account but you can't make a deposit unless you have a debit card!! DO NOT GO HERE, this bank is terrible

Very good service! Kyle was super friendly and knowledgable in helping my friend get out of title loan burden. Very clean facility only thing I would recommend is having some bottles for the customers but thats just because I'm thirsty haha Honestly its great here!

We were insulted “behind our backs” about our financial situation by two bankers today. Super unimpressed with the lack of professionalism here. It is never okay to comment on people in a rude manner! A couple day later we received a call from the branch manager. She handled it fairly well so I am bumping my scoring up to two stars.

This place is horrible. I went to get a car loan from them and Brendan who helped me sent me over to car dealer ship they work with to get a car. I bought a car there ford 2014 focus. When i bought the car they said there was nothing wrong with it and it just had been serviced. A day later im driving the car and its jerking A LOT. I called and told the dealership and they told me it was normal but i can take it to their mechanic to have it looked at. I took it to his mechanic and he would absolutely not look at the car for me and told me over thats how the car is. The car got worse and i got tired if it so tried to take it back and the dealership would not take it because they said the car was completely fine. So after that i go to the credit union to talk to them and they said Theres nothing they can do until i get the car actually looked at and diagnosed and everything will be covered after that. I took it to the a ford dealer ship and turns out the clutches in the transmission are bad and need to be replaced my warranty company will not cover it because the credit union put on my agreement in the fine print that pre existing issues are not covered. The bank did not tell me this when i bought the warranty. When i talked to Brendan after all the issues, he knew that this was on my agreement and chose not to let me know even after he told me everything will be fine and covered if there really is something wrong with my car. AND THERE IS AND NOW THEY WONT FIX IT FOR ME. The car dealership and those people at the credit union were working together. THEY BOTH screwed me over. These people knew what they were doing. They shouldn't be referring people to begin with because of issues like this. how was i suppose to know this was a "pre existing issue" when the car dealership i got it from told me over and over that it was fine. They had to have know that there was something wrong with it cause they even said they would drive it. They knew they were selling me a messed up car.

Similar to other reviews, everyone is very nice, but I was charged improperly for insurance on a boat loan because MACU said they didn't have proof of insurance, which had happened the year prior as well. I contacted MACU and spent easily one hour on the phone working it out on a 3 way conference call between my insurance company, the MACU representative and myself, for the second time in two years. After concluding the discussion with the insurance agent, I was assured all was well. Upon making my next payment of $300.00, almost all of the payment was syphoned off to pay for, wait for it.... THE INSURANCE. The insurance I didn't need, and worse, totally overpriced. Easily 4 times more expensive and it only covered the $9000 owed to MACU, whereas my insurance was covering "agreed value" of the boat at $38,000 plus a million dollars in liability for a quarter the price. I contacted them again and they couldn't help because the insurance department wasn't available, "but I could call on Monday." Great, I get to stew about it all weekend. September 15 they will bill me again because I know this will not be corrected. Jesse James couldn't do it better with gun. Wasted time and I am not wasting more to get my money back. Just paying off the rest of this loan now and running. That said, they do all of this very politely, I will give them that.

Take forever to finalize an application. Have been calling their office for almost two hours and no one can pick up the phone. Even corporate called the branch several times and no one pickes up. Very unreliable branch!
