I am finding a new bank. I have clear duplicate charges from amazon and I disputed them. It took secu over a week to send me a letter that I need to send them a letter in writing. This is 2021. I called secu for a status update on dispute today and she acted like it was an inconvenience to even ask and all she could say was that it was still within the 10 day period. Basically this sat on someone’s desk for over a week and I still have to redo the process when the lady on the phone took 30 min of my time creating the first dispute. Stop giving me the run around and just say you don’t want to help people. My debit card randomly got suspended one night when I tried to buy pizza for fraud and the person on the phone w SECU took 5 min just to transfer me and said 2 words. The service here is really lacking. Finding a new bank stat!

I will now drive farther to go to a different bank because the employees at this location are so incredibly rude and disrespectful. If you're able to go to a different location, I absolutely would recommend doing so.

My husband and I went to inquire on how to apply for a home mortgage/loan and ask about products available that they can offer, the guy doesn’t know how to help us. The whole time we were in front of him, he was frowning and I can akin his demeanor the whole time we are with him to that of kid that is in the principal’s office that he cannot wait for us to leave. Lol. The only time his face light up was when my husband said, well I guess that is all then. Lol. Dude, at least try to make some effort to help, if you have no idea about questions we were asking, you could have at least find someone that maybe knows or has an idea about, don’t just say I don’t know about that and just brushed off the question. Lol. Really bad experience. The guy has the worst costumer service. ???? Maybe Secu needs to train their staff about good customer service lol. I can’t believe it, considering all my husband and I has a direct deposit on them. Lol. What a waste of time going there.

The one time I decide to go inside for my transaction...While I got the document I was requesting, the customer service experience was non-existent from the financial services officer. No shake of the hand, awkward silence, and didn't even bother to look at me in the face once. I'm not asking for a cookie or anything, but jeez...Anyway, hopefully others have had and will have a better in-bank customer experience, but I will certainly think twice from now if I need to go inside to this location.

I’m not sure of her last name but Hannah one of the financial managers went ABOVE and BETOND for me today! I came in panicking and in tears and she solved my problems almost instantly! Even though things didn’t turn out as we wanted she handled her service so well ! She was patient, knowledgeable and very understanding. She listened to me vent and was just simply awesome! Thanks for everything ! I won’t ever bank with anyone else!

The staff is beyond rude. From the branch manager Mr. Phillips on down. I’m his is the first bank I have ever had to request that certain staff members not handle my account. I usually wait until I’m in Wilmington to handle things with this account because I can’t deal with the poor customer service at the Cary branch.
