This shop is not for everybody tastes. It carries some wonderful lines of boots that are far too amazing for words and they are bound to make you the center of attention.
The staff is quite good but sometimes is too busy with people browsing so expect to wait for service.

Quality is actually good. There are 2 problems tough.
1. Too pushy staff which is very obvious they want to sell what they have.
2. And most importantly the boots are extremely overpriced. ALWAYS CHECK THE OFFICIAL INTERNET SITE FOR THE ACTUAL REAL PRICES! Because instead of £175 they try to sell it for £255! After for some time the guy said I will lower for you to £175. And then I checked from my phone and I saw the guy didn't made a discount, he just saying the actual price.
Good I did realised so I didn't bought it. Tough I bought a leather coat which is reduced from £550 to £350. I had money so I didn't bother. Quality? Good. Prices? Too high.

Don't be so pushy. You make people feel uncomfortable. The prices are way too high as well.

I used to enjoy coming here as they appear to have a wide selection and the staff are very customer-friendly and obviously good at what they do. After going vegan, I came back recently to see if they had any vegan leather boots as they do on their website. I was told that they don't keep vegan leather shoes in any of their shops as "no one buys them". Hmm. Maybe they would if you stocked them. No matter. I'll go elsewhere.

The sellers are pushy and rude. You aren't able to look at anything without one of them whispering "take it take it" in your ears. It was super uncomfy to look around and we left after 10 minutes. They drop the prices from 280£ to 95£ with makes you feel there's something fishy going on. He kind of forced a leather jacket on me and when he was already putting it in a bag I told him I wasn't really interested in it he changed totally his mood to passive aggressive and we left the store with a weird feeling. Totally dissapointed. Give space to your customers for God's sake.

It is a busy shop in the middle of Camden so don't expect super customer service, it's Camden it's normal. Most of the products are good quality. They will do a deal if you push them hard enough.

On a trip I took from Sheffield to London one week I had my heart set on visiting Camden and purchasing a pair of new rock boots upon arrival in the shop the staff were entruding my personal space and forcing sales on me. After finding the shoes I wanted the member of staff that really did not care for this brand or the style proceeded to throw the shoes down onto the seat next to me. After trying them on I asked for another size witch the man replied with 'you like you buy yes' I then replied no I would like a smaller size in which he grunted and walked away to find another pair. After trying the second pair on I was so displeased with this service I didn't want to give this man my £150. I left immediately after trying the shoes on as I was so appalled with the service. I will not be shopping here ever.

Rude pushy sales staff who are keen to make you try on anything you look at. It has been suspected that New Rocks boots in Camden are mostly cheap counterefeit, so unless you're well informed on how to spot the non-genuine items, stay away! The best way to purchase genuine New Rocks is to go into these shops and browse for what takes your fancy, then If you can tolerate the incessant pushy sales, by all means try some on for size and buy online from reputable dealers. Camden market is largely aimed towards tourists who rarely see alternative style clothing elsewhere, so there is a strong tendency to take advantage of it and sell overpriced poor-quality goods.

Very good sales staff. Obviously busy as it’s a main tourist area but never waited that long to get served. They always help by giving me insoles as I have a half size which is awkward. Never an issue for this. They’ve even had very rare ones I’ve never been able to get anywhere in my size 3 dinky feet!. I don’t know why they are getting bad reviews. The new rocks here are definitely genuine. They are a reputable shop who don’t sell fakes and are licensed specifically to sell new rocks and only distributer from a real live shop in the UK! I know real new rocks from fake as an old timer and been buying new rocks for over 20 years!
I have bought several pairs from here with no issue on any of them. My only criticism is that they can be pricy. You have to haggle a bit; part of the charm of camden! I know you can get a bit cheaper on line if you look around however I prefer to not wait 3 months to get my boots which might not fit right that I then have the agro sending back and waiting for refunds just to save £20 to £30 at most . (Also might not be genuine). I usually get served by Sammi who is always friendly and always remembers me.
Remember buying online is always cheaper, as no overheads. Camden rates are very high now and people would do well to remember that. If people stop buying in these places then they will go under and we will be stuck with another dammed Starbucks and top shop. ( yawn), and Camden loses its punk heritage with independent alternative shops. Already so many have gone, to be replaced with tacky souveneer shops on short rents selling crappy fake Michael kors bags. Keep Camden going guys!

My Fiancée and I have shopped here many times and have at least 7 pairs of New Rocks between us. Yes the shop is often busy as it is in a main tourist area but we have always been well looked after by the staff and have always been pleased.
