As a trained vehicle mechanic of old I was so very impressed by the accident damage repair carried out by Solus Basingstoke. Our 4 year old car was returned to us looking as good as new with every component affected by the collision having been replaced. The car was gleaming inside and out and the repair was carried out as quickly as possible even though covid was affecting parts supply.
A genuine and big thank you to all who were involved in this process.

My car was with Solus for third party accident repair (hence I cannot comment on value for money). It was collected at the promised time, repaired within 36 hours and returned to my address. The repair was excellent, and the car was cleaned and valeted to a high standard before being returned to me. I was absolutely delighted with the car’s overall

Vehicle was collected by Basingstoke site on Monday morning and courtesy car delivered. Kept informed of progress at every step of the way by the very courteous staff. Car was repaired to a high standard and delivered back on Wednesday and had been cleaned and polished inside and out. It looked like new. Very happy with the service received. Thank you

I can’t fault the service I received. Absolutely brilliant from the first phone call to the car being fixed. Super quick and really helpful. They even did it quicker for me so I could have my car back before we went away. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely 10/10 experience and A very happy customer.

Would score 100% but found a medium splatter of spray paint on the inside door trim. Luckily as i have leather trim, I was able to get rid of it after 20-30m with some thinner and elbow grease.

This would have been 5 stars as the job appeared to be a very good one after someone took the front of my car off. However, soon after I started driving again the low water light came on for the windscreen washer reservoir. I have just gone to fill it up and only succeeded in getting wet feet. Clearly this wasn't properly checked when it was put back together, so a request has been left on their voicemail to contact me so it can be done. Deduct 2 stars, which is a bit of a let off because my initial reaction was to give none, but my feet have dried and I've calmed down. I do wonder though if everything else has been checked.......?

After two weeks waiting for my car with little updates in the second week, it was returned to me with zero fuel! Literally fumes! Petrol light not just on, but flashing! Doesn’t tally up with the dashboard pic I took before it was taken (over half!) Drop off driver couldn’t get away quick enough!
Also appears to be a cigarette/hot rock burn on my seat! Air con/fan all on full blast when I started the car up, At a guess someone smoked in my car! I know I can’t prove anything with this but I’ve had the car from new and have never smoked in my life! Funnily enough never noticed a hole before my car was taken away! Livid!!
I also have another scratch in my rear bumper that was not there before!! Not worth the fight as I know the outcome; “prove it”! I’d complain if I thought I’d get anywhere! I 100% believe my car has been driven around, the mileage doesn’t match that of the distance to the repair centre and back, 200+ miles of fuel gone and a new scratch!
Would never recommend this company! Will be addressing this with my insurance company!!!!

My car went in for dent repair. They spent 5 days fixing a tiny dent that other garages estimated was a 1 say job.
While the car was in their care, 2 new dents were added to the car. One of which was about 12 inches long.
They agreed to fix the new dents however the communication was not great. One of the girls I spoke to very professional (Vickie).. the other was terrible. Borderline rude. I could never recommend this business.
It's very easy to avoid them and go elsewhere, so I would advise you to do that.

If I could give a zero rating I would. My car went in to have a rear bumper replaced. So far after over a week and rejecting it twice due to poor workmanship and scratches on the car that happened whilst with Solus I am still waiting to get my car back. If you are insured through Aviva you have to use Solus as it is part of Aviva but if you can use someone else I would strongly recommend it. The only saving grace for this branch is Vicki who is trying her utmost to resolve this. Shoddy work so beware and check your vehicle very carefully when you get it back..

Accidents are worst things happen to you, however if you are with Aviva and your car is been sent to SOLUS BASINGSTOKE you need not to worry at all.
Main reasons for my 5 star review are as below
Communication:- In and out amazing communication to keep me posted even at the petty level e.g. when car is getting collected, when car reached service station, progress, when it is ready. They will keep you posted via emails, phone, texts, online portal.. What else would you expect ? Such a peace of mind
Courteous staff :- Your phone will never be on hold for long time, very humble, polite, responsive enough staff. Repairers are Excellent technically & mechanically at the same time. Not alone that , Solus called Enterprise for my replacement vehicle instead of me calling them.
Services :- Last but not least, my car was repaired in no time with excellent service standard and when it came back I noticed they had done a valet from inside and tyres were cleaned in and out. They definitely deserves 5 star rating.
Good job Solus Basingstoke.
I would highly recommend SOLUS BASINGSTOKE.

Under no circumstances bother with this garage, unless you are claiming through your insurance company, presumably so they can pump up the estimate and get a higher price, or is it the rebate that's paid back to the insurance company, I took my Audi in for a door repair and ten days later I had not even received a quotation, I was a private customer.
