When we arrived, we were told you can't leave any vehicle at hertz and roads around there are mainly permit holders, so, where can you leave your car whilst hiring a vehicle. Also, was told that you need to leave a 500 pound deposit and it takes 5 days to get it back. That's not good enough. The car wash set up in hertz for anyone to drive in and leave their cars to be washed has taken up hertz space, but it's the same people running the two operations. I dropped off my son and husband and was told to move my car as people want their car washed, I had to wait as my husband didn't know directions, he came back and said move, you can't say here, we didn't get the van. Waste of time.

Good service by staff on ground and on phone . I had requested for a weekend rental and booked online, later got a call to cancel as there was no fleet.Got the refund for cancellation as well as got an upgrade for another booking.

DO NOT USE HERTZ!!! Booked a van 2 weeks ago, on the day phoned me and said they had no van as someone had not brought it back on time. No offer of another size and to my surprise every Hertz site withing the local area had no vans available. Refund for money already paid will take a week to come back! Joke!

I just had a horrible experience here.
First of all, I'm transgender, and proud of it. My documentation is starting to show it, however not everything is changed yet. My debit card already shows my new name and gender, my driving license doesn't. I went to the office, explained them the situation, offered them to provide all the name change documents and they didn't accept them. HMR&C accepted them, my bank accepted them, NHS accepted them... And now a car rental doesn't accept them?
It has seriously been one of the moments I've felt the worst in my recent history. I think I managed to hold my tears until I left the office. I'm not happy. I am honestly not happy at all.
I guess the world still needs to change a lot more.
