Normally I hate buying a car and get so anxious at the potential pushy sales act, well this isn’t the case at Williams select in Manchester. They are all so friendly and very welcoming. I dealt with Greg and he made me feel really comfortable and at ease purchasing my car. The car itself is lovely and they even went and replaced the seat belt which would have been covered under warranty to save me having to wait longer for my car. Excellent and professional dealer that I would highly recommend, they have some beautiful cars. I am one very happy customer.

Adil & Greg the undisputed champion car salesman tag team of the U.K & possibly the World. Everything was spot on from first enquiry and in depth personalised presentation video of the car created by Greg right through to Adil plumbing in my home postcode for the ride home. Massive attention was paid to my individual needs and both were friendly, extremely knowledgeable and accommodating making the process to get me behind the wheel of my dream car a pleasurable experience.
No hard sell, no chasing, just let the product speak for itself which was a welcome change to usual brow beating techniques of other dealerships. COVID 19 Health & Safety measures were in place and strictly adhered to and the no nonsense approach to doing the deal was brilliant.
Honestly these guys are a credit to the dealership and no doubt some of the reliable corner stones of the business. I would not hesitate in recommending Williams Select Manchester to anyone in the market for a used prestige mark.

I recently bought a Suzuki Swift Sport from Williams Select and have been very pleased with both the car and the customer service, handled by Greg McNally. There was actually a mistake in which my car's 120-point service check was not fully completed before I collected it, but Greg called me, promptly arranged an appointment for it and ensured the job was carried out. I feel a lot of garages wouldn't have bothered rectifying this once the car had left the forecourt! I would highly recommend Williams Select and would certainly use them again in future.

Just purchased a Fiesta ST3 and I can honestly say I am very happy with not only the car but the service received. Even though the car is a year old it is immaculate. Excellent service throughout the whole purchase. Greg the salesman was amazing and made the process very relaxed and wasn't pushy (like other car salesman I've dealt with before). Greg always answered any questions that I had and was always prompt to get in touch with me. The car was a very good price, and the finishing touches it had definitely exceeded my expectations. The car looked brand new when I collected it this morning. As a retired motor trader but still buying cars for some of my existing customers, I located a C Class Coupe that suited perfectly in Williams Select recently. I spoke to Greg and bought the car on his description over the phone and travelled down by train to collect it 2 days later. History tells me these purchases are usually punctuated with disappointment with minor flaws such as previous paintwork, minor dings, wheel scuffs, gaps in service history etc. not being mentioned on the strength that anyone travelling that sort of distance is not going to reject the car. It was an excellent experience from start to finish with the car being described with panel by panel accuracy by Greg. As a critical appraiser myself it was a joy to meet Greg who clearly shares my belief in just providing an honest report on your products.

Going to a car showroom can be a bit daunting, but everyone at Williams was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. There are some really well priced cars there too. Greg was understanding and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy and I never felt pressured to look at another car or buy something I didn't want. Better than a lot of large car supermarkets and dealerships I've been to. Worth a visit if you just want to have a look around.

I recently bought a car from Williams Select with the salesman Greg McNally. The service was fantastic. To summarise, from the moment I explained my interest in the car I received walk around videos showing me the car in better detail, all concerns I may have had were dealt with before I even knew (tyre refurb, scratches polished out, cracked alloy replaced) all at no expense to me. Was informed the rear pads needed changing (taken care of at no expense). By the time I travelled 4 hours to see the car for the first time I was able to confidently buy the car after an extended test drive. Fantastic service, fantastic cars and I’m sure if I was to have any unforeseen issues in the future Williams Select would sort them without fuss! Thank you!

I've recently had the pleasure of both purchasing a car and trading in my old vehicle with Williams Select.

Great service today from Greg McNally. Saw the car advertised this morning phoned him and said we would be down in an hour, he had everything ready for us, despite my trying to get a better deal on the price, he justified it’s price well and commercially did a good job for his company and I believed I was getting good value for money. Despite.not really being bothered whether they took my old car in part ex, he made the deal attractive and so we were able to conclude the whole transaction (including change of ownerships etc) in a couple of hours and I was able to drive away in my new vehicle.

Overall experience was smooth and painless thanks to Greg, drove away with new car after part exchange, even had more fuel in that when I test drove it thanks.
A tiny bit more attention and clarity to customers when dissapearing to do this and that would have netted the 5 stars...But still
Recommend speak with Greg if you see a car you like. They will try and sell you the extra insurances that may be right for you but no pressure from Greg if you don't take them on.

We also got a very reasonable trade-in, and the car was immaculate when we picked it up. Williams Select make customer service a priority, and we would definitely recommend them.

Visited these dealers a while back, upon arriving at the showroom I was left waiting for around 15/20 minutes before a salesman came and spoke to me, when I told him which car I was interested in he seemed disappointed as I was looking at a top end motor while I was waiting to be seen to. When I test drove the car it had an annoying rattle from the dash area, when I asked if I was to buy this car will that rattle be sorted before I collected it, he just shrugged his shoulders and said mate it’s a used car!! Yes I understand it’s a used car but immediately saying no was not what I expected. On the test drive he couldn’t even answer a single question that I asked him all I got was a hmmm I’m not sure!!. The car itself was filthy inside and out, first impressions count to me. Very poor customer service and not even a bit of product knowledge! Walked out without buying from them!

These guys are top of the league when it comes down to buying a car, we are a family in the motor trade who were recently looking to upgrade one of our personal vehicles, we had been looking for a few months for a specific model using our links within the trade and had no luck, then the one we had been searching for became available at Williams Select at a price that was so good we couldn't miss out on it, we dealt with Greg who was first rate and an absolute pleasure to deal with, the atmosphere around the place is chilled and there's no hard sell to customers. Great service, great options of a variety of vehicles but most of all the best car sales man i have ever met (especially Greg) literally nothing is too much trouble, all the staff are very professional and helpful and offered lots of advice when me & my Husband was choosing our family car. No slick sales gimmicks, no pressure, no attempts at manipulative ploys. Just great accommodating service with staff they go above & beyond their call of duties.

The car lived up to the expectations and promises Greg had made.

Initial contact with the salesman was great, and negotiation was fair, but after that, service went down hill.
No service history ever provided despite repeatedly asking, no invoice until asked 3 times, no confirmation of funds received for 48 hours, car not prepared as agreed and arrived with scuffed wheels which i now have to rectify (at their expense). Dealer couldn't even be bothered to submit the V5 to the DVLA and didn't bother telling me until i found the V5 in the service book!
The worst part is that the dealer very happy to supply a supercar with rear brake discs well below manufacturers recommended standard, despite being made aware of this on multiple occasions.
Having raised concerns to 4 levels of management, i received a terse and dismissive response from the DP.
I accept that COVID has presented challenging times, but this has been awful. A few bumps along the way is understandable - but when almost the entire transaction is this bad, it's shameful.

I've been in the motor trade all my life, I contacted Williams Select via email with regards to my genuine interest in one of their vehicles outlining my no-nonsense approach. I was telephoned by Greg who welcomed my approach and as I was based in Wiltshire, offered to a do a walk around video appraisal. He very honestly outlined the flaws that would be attended to whilst the vehicle underwent it's preparation (it had only just arrived in to stock).
We negotiated a deal and I paid a £500 deposit over the phone with the intention of collecting the vehicle once it had been prepared.
I said I'd be travelling the 4 hour journey by train and Greg offered to collect me from Manchester Piccadilly which was much appreciated.
We arrived at the dealership, I was shown the car that I had bought 'blind' and saw that all the preparation works had been completed. First impressions were good but the true test would be in the extended drive home.
The journey home between Manchester and Birmingham was hellish but the journey was made completely bearable by the sublime 8-speed automatic transmission. The car drove without fault. I purchased it for my wife and she's delighted too.
I'd like to thank Greg for the way we conducted our business which was mainly via email with the odd telephone call.

If you just want to go and look at quality cars from the dealer network and find a good vehicle without the fear of being sold a turkey just go here. You'll pay around book and there isn't much wiggle room on price either but to be fair their vehicles are quality and the service is spot on. If you're just looking to pick up a good vehicle at the market price you can't go wrong here.
Greg was my contact. I knew which vehicle I wanted to see. It hadn't been prepped yet and was at the very back of the premises. It couldn't have been harder to get out but he insisted I drove it and plied me with coffee and a comfy seat whilst they retrieved it. No pushy sales techniques on the test drive (and even a few laughs in the bargain).
Car was prepped with full MOT two days later and it was immaculate with 4 new tyres and full MOT. Had it a month now with a few long runs and it's perfect. 3 year old Mercedes B200 Cdi SPORT.
If you want to haggle and take a gamble I'd go elsewhere. If you just want a solid car at the right price without feeling like you've just visited an oily garage this is the place to go. Walking distance from Piccadilly train station too which is handy.

I'd been after a Ford Kuga for a while now and after biding my time browsing the web, I dropped on this hidden gem ! at Williams Select on Upper Brook Street,Manchester.
After inspecting the vehicle and a valet to get an overall impression,Greg McNally took me on a test drive around town.
On my return I was able to browse the car at my leisure and have a demonstration on the features after which I made the decision to purchase.
To good an opportunity to miss in my opinion.
Good product knowledge with no hard sell or obligation to buy at the end of the day.
Very pleased with the overall transaction and service received on my two visits.

I approached Williams after an ad from Autotrader. I enquired and very quickly received a call from Jason. He ran through the specs on the phone and we discussed a part ex deal.
After finding out the details, I viewed the car which was nicely placed in the centre of the showroom.
Jason met me and walked me around the vehicle. The vehicle was as described and in immaculate condition. We went for a test drive and Jason sat back and let me enjoy the vehicle. The car sold itself to me which is how the process should be.
I decided to purchase the vehicle and the process was quick and smooth. No hassle at all. The other staff were friendly and welcoming.
Upon picking up the vehicle a few days later, I brought my 2 year old daughter with me (advice to other car buyers: don't do that, its mayhem...), but Williams had a childrens corner and she was very happy with the toys. The staff were also very good with her.
The aftercare was brilliant. Jason was contactable at all times through phone and emails and always returned my queries.
Overall, a very excellent experience. A brilliant, professional and friendly bunch. Will happily use their service again.

In addition to that, The car was very dirty and horrible which is not what you expect from a dealership. If you are spending your hard earned cash then please find a dealership that is worth it. I found a car at a great price and was offered a good deal on my p/ex. Ten hour round trip to collect, so understandably, I was a bit nervous about buying blind. Abid bent over backwards to reassure me that I would not be disappointed with the car and he was right!!! From the communication I received beforehand, to the service I received on collection, every expectation I had was surpassed. A very professional, honest and fair car dealership.
