Not interested after they have your money. Took 4 weeks to receive a refund for over payment and a month into having the car I need to replace all the tyres! When asked if the tyres are checked before sale got a rude email response back and that they change tyres if they are under 3mm which clearly didn't happen on this occasion.

My boots liner is been took out, and tried to speak to the salesman again and he ignored my enquiry. I agreed to buy Alloys protection and small dent and scratches protection with them, but find out they put the BMW X on top of them without my permission

I bought a 2018 Fiesta ST3 from Williams Select, and dealt with Russell throughout the purchase process. Russell was fantastic all the way through, from sending me an initial walk around the car, to all the after sales calls and dealing with a few minor issues I had. He even came in on a day off to go through the sale of the car with me. Great place to buy a car.

Was engaged in a dialoge about a car. The guy stopped replying to me and the advert was taken off of Autotrader. Unbelievably poor service when i'm trying to buy a £50k car. The common courtesy is lost on some people. I was dealing with someone called Ryan. I wouldn't ever consider using Williams as a result of this. simple lessons for these guys to learn!

Russel ord was the salesman. Although I travelled over 280 miles to collect the car, Russell made the sale very smooth. He sent me a video of the car, gave a detailed description of the car including any minor scratches (all accurate), arranged collection and servicing prior to collection. Everything was ready before I collected. He was also made himself available to answer queries and put my mind at ease.

Saw the car on auto trader and immediately wanted to test drive it. Contacted William select and dealt with a gentle man called Andy Fletcher who was just back in the office from holiday and he was professional booked a date for me to test drive. Loved the car after the test drive and Andy sorted everything out for me from taking deposit, part exchange of my old car and there was no hard selling which I really liked. Overall process and service received was really good and was kept updated throughout the process until I picked up the car. The car was in good condition on pick up and Would 100% recommend anyone looking for a car to go with William select. Once again thank you to Andy for sorting me with my dream car. Love it!

Picked up my new car this week and I’m so happy with it. Can not fault anything with Williams select whatsoever. I dealt with Andy Fletcher from start to finish and nothing was too much to ask. I cannot fault his service, he did everything for me, an absolute genuine man. The car is immaculate, everything was done to ensure the vehicle was showroom condition. I Bought a car off Williams select and part exchanged my French car with them and 6 weeks later I got a fine for my old car and then I got a court order to pay it so after getting InTouch with them they done nothing i went to the police and got it sorted there after sales service is shirt and the sale man and the manager i dealt with were no use what so ever i would never ever deal or recommend them to any one unless they want problems

Bought my car from here a few months back. What a great service receive from Adil. Really good guy with lots of banter! Real credit to the company and would (finances permitting) come back again. He was not annoyingly pushy like alot of cars sales people as well so definitely come see this guys at Williams Select. Car itself is the best car I have had faultless which is always good and it was priced extremely well.
After care is much appreciated as well. They don't just shut you out as well so you can buy from here with a good piece of mind that you would be looked after.

Enquired about a car back in January and dealt with Greg mcnally, he sent me videos of two cars I had seen on the website that day, unfortunately neither cars were for me, Greg was not put off by this, a few weeks later I noticed a Q5 on the website spoke to Greg who was more than happy to help with another video, I viewed the car in person the next day and test drove it, the finance deal he sorted for me was unbelievable, There were a few scratches and small dents but Greg had it in the bodyshop and had it looking perfect for when I collected it. Highly recommend Greg as he was very professional throughout the sale, always answered my emails and phone calls.

After having some troubles at another used “Automobile Shop” ;), I saw the car I wanted on the Williams site and made the call to reserve. I spoke to Tom, and he was very professional and couldn’t do enough for me. There was no hard selling of extras and he just concentrated on me and the car I wanted. He mentioned that the car was in excellent condition, and he wasn’t wrong. He organised a super quick pick up of the car and it was in tip top condition and I couldn’t be happier.
Compared to some of the alternatives out there, Williams and Tom are in a different league.

Tom went out of his way to make sure the process went as smoothly as possible during the unfortunate COVID times.Nothing was too much of an ask, Tom has a great manner and is very dependable and approachable. 100% You can trust the rating. I have bought an Audi A8 from Williams Select. The car was in better condition and looked better than in photos. The car was sold to me by Greg McNally, who was a gentleman from the first time we spoke. He offered to try and give me a bettwr offer on finance than white I had and so he did. The process was really easy and stress free.
I ready a couple of bad reviews as well, but honestly my experience with Williams select is 5 stars.

Our experience of buying a used car from Williams Select has been first rate. Their Sales Executive (Adil Khan) provided excellent customer service thought including all necessary paperwork. Always friendly, very knowledgeable and offering a very fair deal. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we couldn’t visit the showroom but video tours of the car reassured us of its condition. And absolutely incredible experience from start to finish, I have to mention by name Tom Roberts for going above and beyond through every process of my complicated situation whilst always having time for me making sure to call me anytime there was an update with my purchase. I had previously attempted to make a purchase through Cazzoo who handled me very poorly resulting in an adverse affect on my credit rating. Whilst accounting for this in a new application would prove to be very difficult, Tom showed exemplary effort to overcome this and help me achieve my dream of owning a Mercedes A35 AMG. Could not fault him or the company who were always there and picked up the phone right away.

Tom kept me updated on a timely basis including a phone call the evening before I was due to pick up my new car. Excellent service from Tom.

Picked up a 17 plate VW Caddy today and very impressed with the customer service from start to finish.
I reserved the vehicle online on a Monday night, and went over and drove it away on the Friday.
I was sent a walk around video by Greg, the salesman who dealt with me, and the following day went to see it, then put my deposit down.
The vehicle was in great condition as you would expect, they even helped sort out insurance details!
Nothing but a great service, friendly and helpful staff.

Highly recommended, I initially dealt with Greg who wasn't pushy, totally honest and professional. I viewed the car online, spoke to Greg who sent me a video of the car. Greg assured me the car was in such pristine condition that it was on show inside the premises. Being the sceptic that I am I drove down on the sly to check. True to his word the car was in the showroom. The whole experience of purchasing the vehicle was professional. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Williams Select including Adil and The Boss who have renewed my belief and trust in salesmen. As expected the car was presented beautifully despite the poor weather. I still haven't removed the plastic film over the steering wheel.

Would give 0 stars, ok car at ok price, but their customer service is non existent. Constantly had to chase them up with a fault on the car that was bought less than 4 weeks ago, whenever you speak to anyone you are spoken to so rudely especially by Paul who is particular rude. Would never recommend.

Saw I car I was interested on the Williams site and did an online valuation for my possible p/x.
I was contacted very quickly by Adil @ Williams and we started to talk. We negotiated a p/x price I was happy with and we progressed from there.
I was kept informed at every step of the process and due to COVID I had the car delivered to my address as part of the deal.
Everything ran smoothly and I must rate this as one of the best dealer experiences I have ever had.

Williams are a 4 hour drive from home for me but Tom described the car perfectly and provided a video tour of the vehicle within minutes. An excellent experience from start to hand over of my used vehicle. I live 240 miles away from Williams Select but I was fortunate enough to have Adil Khan as salesman. He sent me with a personalised video of the vehicle I was interested in which seemed to invite me to see it. Adil took me on a "legendary" test drive and he covered all the features and aspects I wanted to know about. A real Gentleman with excellent knowledge and he captured everything.

Great pre sale service...... but then I paid for my car and it went down hill at a 100 miles an hour. My delivery was delayed by 4 days due to body work that needed to be done - paid for the car on saturday but did not get delivery until the following Friday. Car arrived, scratches on the bumper and pitted on the front - the worst thing was that one of the break disks was bent! This looked very dangerous to me, but after paying £150 to have the car delivered I really didn't want to return it, luckily I had it delivered to an absolutely superb local garage (Rawdon Motors near Leeds) who noted all the faults down for me on the delivery receipt.
The really terrible thing is that I didn't reven receive a follow up call to ask if I had received the car let alone if I was happy with it.!
Williams - you are a big company and should be so much better than this - the bent break disk is potentially really dangerous!
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU REALLY SCRUTINISE IT!!!!! Would have given no stars but it would not allow me to post unless I clicked 1 star!

I wanted to share my experience of buying a car from Williams Select. Greg was very professional and polite. He answered all my questions and as I was coming from West Sussex which is a 4 hour jaunt, I wanted to make sure that the car was in good shape. On arriving at the dealership, I was very much welcomed and the car was sitting in the showroom all lovely and clean. They also filled my car up as they knew I had a long drive back. A very nice gesture on their behalf!
I would highly recommend buying a car from them and I will certainly buy my next car from Greg.

Absolutely fantastic friendly service from start to finish. I purchased an Audi A4 from Greg McNally who went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me with this purchase. He gave me a very fair price for my trade in vehicle, advised me that he would put 2 new tyres on the vehicle brake pads and remove 2 bumper scuffs that in fairness I would not have noticed anyway, he got the car ready 2 days early for me due to my schedule and even drove me across Manchester due to my banks incompetence! I highly recommend visiting Williams select all the team were excellent with me and Greg provided an A+ service.

I made a big mistake putting my trust in salesman Russell Ord. Having previously bought cars from their BMW dealerships and been very satisfied this was the complete opposite experience. I live in Kent and put my trust in Russell Ord to give me an honest assessment of a five year old Mercedes SLK with 5k miles on the clock! He confirmed it was in "out of the box" condition and each of my questions were given positive responses even though they were untrue. The front bonnet/bumper/wing did not align correctly. One of the tyres which was supposed to be brand new was in fact five years old and had a large split in the side wall. The alloy wheels which were also described by Mr Ord as like new had been poorly re-machined on the wheel edges. The car was pulling badly to the kerb side to which Russell Ord tried to convince me was the camber of the road. After a four wheel alignment the car was still pulling indicating possible accident damage, so much for their safety checks! I returned the car after a few days and received a full refund however my out of pocket expenses were in the region of £500.
My advice is to think carefully if you are considering buying a car from Williams Select in Manchester and not rely purely on what they say over the phone and to make sure you are 100% satisfied before you commit to a purchase.
