We purchased our first home last month through Hunters and Alex Alfred was absolutely brilliant. He was very professional and communicative throughout the whole process, despite us not being technically his clients (he represented the seller). Buying a flat during a pandemic is a stressful experience but Alex made the process a lot smoother, keeping in touch regularly and finding creative ways of resolving issues that emerged with lawyers and the council. The sale would not have gone throughout without him! We are very grateful for his help and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an estate agent.

I worked with Alex Alfred from the Hunters Camberwell branch during the sale of my flat. Honestly he has been one of the best estate agents I have dealt with and continuously provided excellent customer service especially during COVID times when things were uncertain. He has an extensive knowledge of the Camberwell are and he took it upon himself to understand the complexities of selling my property and the councils processes and often acted as the key driver behind both sets of respective solicitors. He has a great attention to detail, always kept me in the loop, was contactable all times of the working hours and without Alex the sale would not have gone through and for that I am for ever grateful. Each time Hunters have been professional, bespoke and honest. Brett and John really know their trade, getting the best from sales and lettings but always listening to the service you need. We asked Hunters to market our house in mid-August 2019 and we accepted an offer on 27 August 2019. It then took until 6 October to complete the sale, but Hunters kept in regular contact with our solicitors and with us to keep us up-to-date. At the end of the process Hunters even visited the house after we had moved out to check whether there was any post for us which Royal Mail had not redirected! Excellent service.

I recently engaged the team at Hunters after previously being with another Camberwell agent. The difference in service & professionalism from Hunters & in particular Alex was so noticeable. I have been hugely impressed with Alex throughout the whole process & towards the end of the sale it got very tricky & required a lot of pushing both solicitors which Alex did superbly. I can honestly say it was one of the best examples of quality customer service I’ve experienced in all my years of dealing with estate agents - they often get a lot of stick & in some cases they deserve it but on this occasion I cannot praise Hunters enough. 5 stars thoroughly deserved Alex.
