The male staff in Loughborough CEX were awful on both visits, with different staff on each visit. Think there is a problem with the whole shop. Behaved like I was a major irritant, as I wanted to return an unopened online order. Were not helpful, communicative, or effective. One member of staff swore at me as I left the shop. Dont feel confident buying online, as cant trust Loughborough CEX branch to be helpful or polite. Will use GAME in the future.

Been in to sell my iPhone 6 on few occasions to be told there is no money sent my brother in 5 mins after to sell his ps4 and they were able to buy it and apparently worth more on there website. What is going on. From now on I shall be selling my stuff to either exchange buddy or cash converters who seem to always have money. Cash converters even will match cex prices or do better

Great place to go to get technology although they say they test things and they don't as confirmed with an Expert at Storm Components. I have had to return broken things here many a times. On a positive note cheap prices and a 2 year warranty

CeX is a fairly small store but still manages to have a lot on its shelves to look at and plenty of room to walk by other customers. The staff are always having a laugh and a joke while they work and they are very resourceful and knowledgable. Upstairs houses most of the DVDs (with the exception of blurays which are downstairs near the counter). Xbox and playstation games are downstairs and behind the glass windows are all the electronics like phones, laptops, cameras ect. For customers to have a good look at.
The store is generally clean and tidy, it's a nice little second hand store.

Staff could do with some training regarding customer service. All the staff seem board and uninterested, talking amongst them selves rather then greet or prioritise a customer. I felt as my being there was an inconvenience and thought i had to wait till they had finished there conversation.

Not been into the store for a while, and sad to say its gone downhill. The staff are bored and uninterested, and it doesn't feel welcoming anymore. The manager seems to sit on his phone behind the shelves whilst barking orders for staff to follow, and it seems like no one cares about the place

Absolutely disgusting customer service from the staff. Mouthing costumers over faulty products and making up excuses for anything. For saying they test stuff that's a load of rubbish. Now out of pocket with no help from your useless staff. Reading the comments cut seems I'm not the only one.

Cex is a good place to get relatively good priced games and electronic stuff. Unfortunately, if you want to sell something to them, the offer is always unfairly low. Understand they have to make a profit, but most of the people that visit this place are low income people, and I have felt in the past, when I sold a phone to them, that I was being done over. However, you do have a choice, and it depends how fast you need the money. I suggest, if you want to sell something, advertise your stuff on gumtree or Facebook, and get a better real price for your stuff.

Expect many second hand, old and also many newish PC's, as well as camera, hardware, game consoles and discs, film discs and posters. Things come with a 2 year warranty, which is good. One thing to watch out for is some things are not actually much cheaper than new, so make sure you do your research first. The other thing is that devices are sold as is, so all the grime and dust remains on them - make sure you're prepared to clean them!

I love the store always go something that you want from DVD to games, I always swing by when I'm in Loughborough and have a look round, the staff are really nice and helpful as well as there prices being cheap you are also helping the plant by getting a pre own item.
