A warm welcome, great care taken at every contact point (prompt attention when telephoning, work booked in at a convenient time).
My vehicle needed some unexpected extra work which was handled professionally and carefully as to not cost me an unexpected large extra amount of cost.
Great value service and MOTs offered.
I wouldn't consider using a main dealership after I've used Charnwood Car Company for a number of years now.
Their personal and 5☆ customer service alone is the reason I'm always happy to recommend this garage.

Fantastic service. I was brought to CCC after a breakdown by a very kind gentleman from the AA. Melanie looked after me very well whilst I waited for a lift home, and my car was looked at the next morning for me to collect that afternoon. The work that was done was clearly explained to me which I appreciated. Very reasonable prices to top off the whole experience. Thoroughly recommend!

Family run garage with really excellent communication and service: they deserve their Good Garage Scheme rating.
I have total faith in the work done, and have been going back for my services for years. Michelle particularly explains what work needs to be done and the costings very clearly.
They are not the fastest garage, nor the cheapest, but they are thorough, trustworthy and do a good standard of work. Their parts supply can slow them down, and they send out to a third party for MOT.
They give you something from the 'chocolate shelf' after you've paid your bill too. Clever idea, because you always leave smiling.

The team at Ccc has always shown great professionalism and more importantly in my case, turning a complete disaster of a car that I acquired to tip top running condition like new! Melanie showed great kindness and appreciation for my situation. Very understanding and informative about every process was described and explained in a understanding and clear. Melanie introduced me to the mechanic Martin who showed me the issues and fixes for my problems letting me into the garage and have a look and feel at the issues which really impressed me and made me feel super appreciated that they took the time to go the extra effort. I cannot highly recommend them enough for anyone who needs a local family run garage. Who go to a great deal in making sure the customer come first, and keeps them fully informed. Great service and thanks again Melanie and team for putting a huge smile on my face again!

I took my car here for an MOT and it failed as it needed a part replacing. I left my car there at 9:30 and it took them until 16:00 to tell me that it failed. I politely told them that I'd replace the part myself (to save money) and the old man there tried to bully me into letting him repair it and say that I shouldn't drive my car away (although there were no 'dangerous' faults and the old MOT was valid for another 2 months so I was allowed to drive it away). He told me not to come back again because I didn't want him to make the repair. I paid him £29 so that I could get a new MOT certificate, I never agreed to pay anything for repairs.
Unless you want to pay him lots of money, he doesn't appreciate your custom.

I have been to numerous places in Loughborough over 20 years of motoring. I never trusted any of them (and have been told by some employees that they are expected to 'fill quotas, regardless of what actual problems the cars have)'. Charnwood Car Company is different. Good old fashioned service, decent prices and they don't charge for what they can't do. You can tell a lot about a place from the atmosphere and general tidyness of both the garage and office: I've always found it friendly, welcoming and organised. I wouldn't consider going elsewhere.
