Day Lewis Pharmacy

In order to leave a review I need to star this review - but if it was my choice I wouldn't have given it even one. Two days ago I rang up to check they had the prescription I was picking up for my friend. Yes. I said I would come and pick it up in a couple of hours. The lady said fine. I walked the 25 minute walk to the pharmacy. When I arrived there was a handwritten note on the door - 'Stock taking closed 1-2.30pm.' She had not mentioned anything about this on the phone. It was at that point 1.50. The staff studiously ignored me from beyond the locked door and simply pointed to the notice when I waved. I decided it was not worth walking all the way back home again and waited there for forty minutes. At 2.31, again ignoring my waves, the lady came, opened the door, and started to cross out '2.30' to write '3pm'. I asked if I could please collect the prescription. She said no there was a stock take taking place. I said I had waited 40 minutes because I had believed what was written on the sign - that they would open again at 2.30. She said it wasn't her fault the stock take was taking longer. I said they shouldn't have written it would open again at 2.30 if they weren't certain - I wouldn't have waited all that time. All she would repeat is 'I don't know what you want me to do.' Totally unapologetic and no responsibility taken for leaving people hanging. Very unpleasant and totally lacking in empathy, and no respect for the customer's time being utterly wasted.

Extremely rude staff who visibly laugh at you for simply asking questions.

My absolute go to pharmacy. At first they were not super nice but then we ceaxked a joke and since then every time i return they are always lovely, smiley and efficient! I must have come on a bad day the first time. I also was very impressed by the empathy and kindness of one of the women who took me apart in time i really needed support she is the only person in the nedical system in the UK who told me 'i want to help you'. That was so surprising and nice!

They are irresponsible. Regularly misplace my prescriptions. I have to call several times to my GP and them to find my prescription out. It happens regularly. Moreover, they do not apologise but make a stoic face as nothing happened.

Awful. Zero in customer service. Never again

The worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. They don't know how to use technology so you wait a week for a prescription to discover that they have fax problem and then on top of that you can't even buy anything because it's out of stock. Never again, waste of time
