As someone who has done archery a few times going back years, from schools to stag do's this is something I have wanted to get into for a while - so started as a lockdown hobby. As a novice I had many questions, thing that didn't seem to make sense and too many options to consider. The team at Archery World (Dan in particular) made it really easy for me & answered all of my questions via email. The whole process was fast and smooth and I have always received my orders in a timely manner. Overall very happy with the experience and will be back again as I improve for bits & bobs!

Okay, let's talk about customer service.... or rather let's talk about Dan's customer service.
SECOND TO NONE!!!!
I have been out the game for a while. So I I figured I'd get back into it. So I put a shopping list together and emailed it to them (archery world customer email) this is when I met Dan!!!
He sifted through my list, of 11 different items, offered suggestions and swaps on a couple of bits (saving me money) and explained why he thought of the changes and why... string count, arrow spine ect.
So we to and throwed to make sure we had the perfect list, then when we had it sorted, I said if ordered it and mentioned my order number (about 5 at night)
This is when it gets good!! I asked if they did anything for armed forces.... boy did they, the next day in the morning I had my fed ex next day tracker, Dan had got my order together, put the nocks on the string for me, threw in a bow rest, a stringer and targets free of charge.
My order arrived 40 hours after making it, all there with helpful instruction books in there too, all well.packed and not damaged.
End line. AMAZING customer service, everything was explain with the whys and wherefores, I wasn't just told what I should get. Fast delivery well packed and super helpful!!

I was looking for a gift for my brother and I knew he wanted an archery set. I found Archeryworld online and contacted them to get some further information. Daniel called me back after I sent an email and was so helpful I think I asked like a million questions but he was so patient and gave me advice and tips on what to get for my brother.
It felt like I was speaking to good friend when speaking to Daniel. He definitely knows his stuff and he helped me choose the right bow kit for my brother. I placed the order on the Friday got confirmation on Monday that it was dispatched and on Tuesday it arrived.
My brother did not wait for his birthday and instantly opened his gift and was blown away.
I would recommend Archeryworld as Daniel was such a pleasure to speak to and the bow kit ordered was of good quality. I look forward to coming to the store when it opens and will travel from London just to check it out.

I visited today with my friend Mark who was looking for a competition spec bow for his daughter with all the trimmings. Impressed by the knowledge and care they took to assist him find everything that might be needed and to offer advice on things his daughter might consider.
I went along for the ride and because I’m considering digging out an old long bow and getting started again. I’m going back with my bow for guidance and with the care they took over creating a safe place and their friendliness and knowledge, and their care in saving you money, I’m looking forward to it.

I have made the purchase online on 18/08/2020 after 9 days waiting on the 27/08/2020 about 6pm contact the shop with a question when can I expect my item. Next day at 9.06 am I received an email they depend on supply. At 11.26 am FedEx informs that they have parcel for me. Supply company need less 2 hours to delivery for them the item. In my opinion they just don't care and missed my purchase. They did not update information before my email. All this shows shop had the item in stock and waiting to dispatched it. But why?

Decent gear but I wouldn't go back there again. They're not friendly or welcoming at all, no smiles or anything. I had a guy called Tony install a peep sight or try to and he didn't have a clue! he took my bow around the back and installed the peep sight, brought it back and said all done. He didn't even measure it up with my eye. My D/L needed adjusting and again, he didn't have a clue, just looked at it and said, ' it looks alright.'

Highly recommended , the team accommodated our rather diverse little group (aged between 6 and 90!) and ran us a lovely have a go session , complete with balloons , prizes and brew time! A really special moment to see our elderly group members having fun and our 6 year old is buzzing from hitting the target balloons. Thank you everyone.

Great place for beginner to advanced. We knew knitting of archery and the assistant was really helpful and got my daughter kitted out with a bow so she can do foot archery. Very reasonable prices too.

We have had an amazing experience here at archery world. We were served by Dan who was very patient and knowledgable. The first time my wife and I went we informed Dan we were not looking to buy but were interested in buying our first kit. I had looked online for reviews on equipment before I went so had a good idea on the riser I wanted to use. Knowing we were not buying Dan still spent an incredible amount of time with us going through things we should be looking out for, things that would generally be a waste of money based on our skill level and what we should be looking for as we progress in ability. We were so impressed we ended up buying 2 kits. There is a small range to test out your equipment on so you can be happy with it before you leave (I think it is 20ft) When we had decided what we were interested in Dan took us both to shoot our gear and picked up on a small error my wife was making. Tony came out and gave some tips and Her shooting improved instantly. Thank you guys for all your time and effort to make our experience a great on. We will be coming back again to you and be recommending you to people at our club.

I have 12 months experience shooting with club equipment which served me very well over this period. I arrived at Archery World, Preston with a list of basic requirements that I would need from my club. I'd researched a little beforehand on arrows and sights and then logged on to their website and created a wishlist/basket. I'd rung the previous day and reserved a particular riser I was interested in. It was busy but worth the short wait. I was served by Dan who'd I'd spoken to the day before. He was extremely knowledgeable and with his vast experience gave me lots of advise, answered my many questions patiently and ensured I only purchased what I needed for my next step from novice to intermediate archer. I was there for 2 hours and I'd recommend that you allow plenty of time for your first kit purchase; try the bow, sight and arrows in the range and listen to the advice - particularly with regard to the weight of limbs. I wouldn't hesitate to travel the 40 miles again when I next need some help or when I upgrade my limbs . Thank you Dan.

I went to archery world yesterday and was their about 3 hours! Absolutely lovely staff and very friendly. I was served by Paul and I bought some new arrows. I was also interested in purchasing a new bow to which Paul allowed me to practice with variety of different bows (flat bows) in their indoor demonstration range for about an hour.
Definitely recommend Archery World!

Having progressed from my clubs bows, I was recommended to Archery World. Last week I was kitted out by Paul, who was very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. The staff are archers themselves and are very keen and interested in their work and pastime. I was given as long as I like to practice. Great service.

Went today with my daughter to have a look around. Although we aren't buying anything for another 2 weeks we were measured up for bows, draw length and had a bit of coaching from the Lancashire coach. A totally positive experience. Helpful knowledgeable staff, friendly and no pressure. Good advice so will be going back in a fortnight to spend our cash...... recommended !! ????????

I've been a customer of Archery World for three years now. The staff are extremely approachable and helpful and will do what they can to help with any questions or issues you may have. The shop is well stocked anf there is a small range so you can try products before you buy, have lessons with an AGB qualified coach, or you can pop along for a practise shoot.

Not sure about this one, the shop was stocked ok had a good lines but not everything was in. Not sure who the person was serving but they weren't the best with the knowing costings. As nothing was labelled up with a price they had to check their own website to give you an answer.
Just my opinion I may of just caught them on an off day.

Like similar posts here i recently joined a archery club and was recommended to come here as one of the clubs suppliers.
I was served by dan to get my first bow set wasnt sure on going for 28 or 26 poundage but after shooting both on there indoor range was clear to me that 26 was better but with my draw i was around 28 pound anyway so confident I'd be hitting 40yrds which is what i am working on at the club currently.
I bought a decent riser so I'll be able to accommodate for some upgraded limbs when the time is right. All in all great service from start to finish. They're clearly knowledgeable and have sets for beginners to more experienced people who may want individual pieces. Travelled 1.5hrs from stoke but definitely worth the journey. It's a satisfying feeling to know I've got a go to shop now for all my archery needs.
I also want to buy a compound bow and probably give barebow a go too , so I'll be back!!!

I telephone up looking for availability of a family pack. I found them to be very helpful, including them swapping out some items for improved versions at no extra cost. They put it aside for me and when I drove down to collect it, I was talked through what I was getting and shown what I needed to do.
I am just beginning in the sport but the store seemed to have a large variety of stock and the staff were very helpful, even to the level of carrying my purchases out to my car and helping me get it all in the boot.

I mostly had a great experience here when I used to do archery. Ordering items online from them was flawless except that one time when I bought a Tru Ball release that was obviously second hand. I sometimes dry fired my bow so always brought it here to get it re-strung and they always did so on the same day. Not a very busy store.

Fantastic place! We mithered the poor guys, but they put up with us very Well! The prices are great too, we went for a couple of arm guards, gloves and a quiver and came out with everything we wanted, plus 3 compound bows!! I am new to archery, having being bought a Christmas present of 4 lessons. I decided to have a trawl about on the internet. I then rang two other archery suppliers before I rang Archery World and got the impression that my custom wasn't that important to them. However when I spoke to Archery World I received some really good practical advice over the phone and bought a decent bow. This arrived really quickly. I cant fault the customer service and delivery service and will use Archery World again when I decide to upgrade
