I left my car in Central Cars to get fixed, as was quoted a good price. I noticed that my dash cam was disconnected when I got my car back. I checked the camera's memory and saw that they drove my car on the way to Nottingham for about 10 miles before it was even fixed!. On top of that the car was not fixed properly, and had to go back to get it fixed again, and leave it there for another half a day!. Unfortunately, it was not fixed properly the second time either. Poor workmanship and quality, unreliable, and unprofessional job!. Will not go back there in the future. I now prefer to pay a bit more, but have the problem solved professionally somewhere else.

Only recently started using Central Cars, but was quickly impressed! Great customer service and very transparent about the work that needs to be done and associated cost. I got my car fixed for a great price and they took the effort to top up my antifreeze, screenwash, oil and tire pressure. Highly recommend!

0 stars - extremely bad customer service, unprofessional, rude and disgusting. Please listen to all reviews, you do not want to visit this place. The owner Dave is very rude and abusive towards customers and makes you feel unwelcome. Dave has also been abusive to a close friend of mine who suffers from a mental health illness and made comments on her looks and appearance. Customers come to receive a good service, they’re not there for you to be rude and abuse them. Defiantly DO NOT recommend this place to anyone, unless you wanted to be verbally abused...

AWFUL AWFUL PEOPLE!
Ever worse service never have I in MY LIFE BEEN TOKD TO GO DIE OR KILL MYSELF BY A OWNER OF A BUSINESS ! Not professional at all I’m horrified by the experiences and people here ! They also made my friend cry and referenced her looks and body and continued to talk about his wife and how great she was. Erm sorry Dave but your wife’s butts.

Stay clear. Abusive staff calling me every name under the sun and dissing my body. Making me feel utterly awful knowing I suffer with mental health. I have uploaded the abuse onto there Facebook page also.
Wouldn’t even go here to check my oils.

Do not use this garage!! They charged me a lot of money for work which they never did, resulting in me breaking down twice. When I confronted them they both hid from me around the garage on two different occasions! They hid in the toilet and behind a vehicle when I went in to talk to them. When I saw the guy hiding he tried to duck out of the window.. Could not believe what was going on, two grown men, absolutely pathetic! They also stole the receipt of the previous work they did out of my glove compartment so I had no evidence of the work they were meant to have done. Took advantage of a young woman, lying crooks! This garage should be shut down! STAY AWAY!

I have all my work on my car done at this garage from bodywork to general servicing and clutch fitting. And they even sort my MOT's out for me. I find the guys very helpful and always do a great job at a great price where these negative reviews come from I have no idea

Told me my car failed its MOT when it hadn't. Charged me for a un necessary repair (a bit of greasing cost me £160) when I challenged them they gave me £100 back as a so called gesture of "good will". I'm now suspicious that previous work wasn't required either. Smooth talking but "do not trust"

Dreadful garage, horrible experience, felt like I had been ripped off massively, had a 'new' head gasket fitted and it had to be replaced less than 8 months later. They were not prepared to give me any money back and denied that it had not been a new one, very unfriendly once I complained and refused any solution.

I took my car for repair a few months ago and met a friendly team, when the same problem happened again shortly after they tried to rip me off to say another problem had occurred. I took my car to a dealer specialist who advised me the original repair had been completely bodged. The after care is terrible and the management are a joke. I would not recommend this business

Do not use this garage they are completely unreliable. This business recently closed down owing a large damage compensation sum to at least one of its clients and then immediately restarted with the identical management team thus avoiding the claim. Be warned!!!
