Extremely pleased with the service level of the team at A&D. They demonstrated to be really kind, understanding, precise and very very competent. I brought to them my car with a Gearbox fault and they managed to fix it and solve the problem. Very pleased indeed. If you have a Range Rover and you are in need in the area, this is clearly your best choice. Big thank you to the team at A&D for sorting my Discovery td5 steering box issues. From the first visit to assess the problem to the completed job,the service was first class! After a few unexpected issues they went above & beyond what they had to do to resolve the problem & delivered the car back to me complete with a new spare wheel cover! I just had a disco 4 on hire from A&D for a 5 week film shoot around Europe. They moved thinks around to find the right vehicle for our needs and got it fully prepped before the shoot. Great service and the car was faultless. Will use A&D again next time!!

What excellent help, service and assistance for a person in distress!! On Wednesday I had a blow out on my car (2 hours from home) and pulled into this garage. I was treated so well it was amazing. Everyone tried hard to help me even though I was in a BMW (spit) and during the time I was with them the team were awesome. A family business with Jack the son game-fully manning the office and juggling many tasks at once, Dad Andrew with his love of Rugby and his wicked sense of humour and Andrew who fitted my tyre (eventually when we got one) despite the fact it was a BMW. Thank you team I could not have asked for a better place to stop.

Easy to get hold of and very good service due to a very nice receptionist and knowledgable mechanics! They gave me a 4x4 hire vehicle to keep me going on the farm whilst mine was being fixed too, it’s the little things and its a service with a smile

Almost put off by the other 1 star reviews but I went anyway. I got ripped off. Charged £61.50 per hour, that's fine (IMO) if you are a good mechanic running a smooth operation, these guys are not that. Anyone who is familiar with the underside of a automobile will see that. They had forgotten my appointment the first time I went, I had to go back the next day. That was the general standard of all correspondance and buisness admin. They then did a big list of service jobs on my RRS including replacing all the brake lines and timing+aux belts (common for a 14 years old car), 3 months later it was back in to have a leaking brakeline redone (free of charge). 2 weeks after that the car failed it's mot because the rear brakelines weren't secured to anything at all beacause A&D hadn't bothered to replace the broken plastic clips that hold the brake lines to the chassis (they cost £1.5 each)! Additionally the tester noted one of the belt tensioners was whining. My advice is to plan your services in time and find a good "take all comers" MOT garage in your local town instead of these "specialists" (every town has a good one in the bunch, a good sign is if they have a waiting list of about a week and a half). Here's some further reading if you're interested: Andy was, in my opinion, cocky and confrontational from the start. He was reluctant to put his quote (£3.5-4.5k) in writing, labour time is variable of course but for service jobs you can provide a fairly complete list of the parts you intend to fit and their cost upfront. I had to prompt him twice for this itemised list of parts. They demanded a desposit (£1k) for the parts.....without putting a quote or list of parts in writing? I've never had to pay a deposit at a garage before but it was £2.5k in parts so maybe that's fair enough. The deposit amount changed 3 times over the course of an afternoon (got more expensive each time I called to ask for the list of parts). I was made to wait for a very long (30+ minutes) time on more than one occasion. (Over an hour once). I came in with a seemlessly operational handbrake (fitted by me in my garage after professional mechanics had done a poor job) I left with a handbrake that creaks every time it's actived and released. The courtesy car they gave me was a joke, a beat up old defender long wheel base (a far cry from a disco or rr) this was a novelty for me but if you've only driven your disco 3 it'll be a shock to your spine and ears! Andy told me my car was down on torque, probably to do with the (notoriously expensive and unreliable) EGR valves being blanked so I should have him fit new ones. I declined and dyno'd the car a month later it was making almost exactly the same torque as when it left the factory 14 years ago. I was promised 2 cups of tea that never arrived haha I was lectured/told off by Andy for using Britpart parts in a pinch (probably my last choice of part brand), while standing in A&D reception surrounded by delivery boxes labelled Britpart!? That's probably enough, you get the picture.

Wonderful garage and people! Carried out first year service on my Discovery sport recently after getting put off by dealership. Dealt with all outstanding service actions also! Good service and the best Landrover Independent around. Highly recommend for all landrover problems!

i had a very bad experience here. i wanted a service on a SPORT and a noise issue sorting caused by a front stability bar.They managed to spend £3500 without consulting me and did not fix the noise issue. i went to collect the vehicle on a Saturday morning and they had decided not to open. When i did collect the staff avoided me and left me with admin lady. i advise avoid like the plague.

Been having my freelander serviced and repaired here for years always happy with the work also had it gas converted which was very good value for money and work certainly recommend .

Needed some new tyres for my Range Rover, called them day before asking for a full set of tyres and were fitted next day, given a time slot and in and out within 40 minutes. Like clockwork, 2 o’clock appointment out the garage by 2.45. Very impressed

From previously using only main dealers to have my Evoque serviced I tried these guys out and was very happy with the quality of the service and the extra mile they went on the vehicle repairs. Very good landrover knowledge and a much cheaper labour rate. Was also offered a loan vehicle which was a nice touch. Would recommend!

Scammers!!! Thought we would stop in for some advice on our Range Rover. Spoke to a guy called Andy who seemed really nice and offered to have a quick look for us. He told us the problem and then we left the car up there while he got us a quote for the work. He finally came back with a quote (over £1600!!!!!) that was 3 x more than any of the other local garages and then refused to give us our car back and got really nasty when we explained that we couldn't afford to do the work with him. He then made us pay £215 to get the car back off as it was labelled as an inspection. The other garages we have since spoken to have told us that he is well known for doing this sort of thing.
