For the last 7 months I have been working extra long hours since corona started. I had also started getting pain in my back and spreading into my shoulders. Every 2 days I would need to take Panadol to control the pain. Thanks to Dr Sharik Ali of the Spinal Health Centre, I have experienced excellent pain relief and comforting care. After reading the awesome reviews here, I booked an appointment for myself and my husband with Dr. Sharik. I have been suffering from lower back/left leg/shoulder/neck pain from the past few months and have seen 2 renowned Rheumatologists in Dubai as well, but did not get relief from the pain. My husband has intermittent left shoulder/neck pain from the past few months as well. On the first visit Dr.Sharik advised us to get X-Ray's done (plus a MRI for me) from a Diagnostic Center advised by them. It costed us about AED 4750 in total just for these alone. We went to see him the next day, and after going through the reports he advised us to do 3 sessions per week/Total of 12 sessions in a month and we would hopefully find relief. He asked us to purchase the plan which would have costed us AED 7000 each for a month's treatment. I asked him whether we could see him on a one off consultation basis rather than purchase 12 sessions and he said that was not possible. He might be great at what he does, but the clinic is rather commercial and the charges exorbitant.

From my experience it is clear to see Dr Sharik Ali has expert treatment suitable only for persons who wish to correct the underlying cause of their joint pain ailments. Mere pain relief can be achieved through pain pills but Dr Sharik has a much greater purpose, and Dubai is blessed to have such specialists

I started with back issues and limping for the last seven months. I was diagnosed with disc prolapse. Eventually I came to see Dr Sharik Ali, and with chiropractic manipulation and adjustments i feel a lot of difference. I would say my flexibility has greatly improved. In March end during lockdown my back gave way. I had to sometimes crawl out of bed. Another big issue was carrying my 2 year old daughter. Even giving her a bath would cause issue. I had hip and leg pain ever since pregnancy. It got progressively worse after clbaby was born. Now after only 3 days of care with Dr. Sharik Ali I already noticed there was zero pain after carrying my daughter. This is the first time ever for me to not have pain after carrying her. This feels so good and I am so surprised and relieved at the immediate results so far. Now I am not needing to massage myself at night. Initially my husband and brother would even have to walk on my back, just to try to get some ease. I was also popping pills to try and cope. Thankfully it is now all unnecessary as Dr Sharik's care has had such great impact.

I came in with pain and discomfort in the neck and the back. Also a symptom of stabbing pain at the back of the breastbone area. This pain has been going on for at least 2 months, but the muscle knots and shifting of pain has been going on for at least 2 years. So far after only 3 days my oain has considerably reduced, by at least 70% and I feel so much better. I just want to make sure this is permanent, even if it requires maintenance care and check ups. Thank you doctor, I am very grateful and I am happy I came.

Yes I have felt amazing relief under Dr Sharik Ali's care. It feels as if all the built up tension in my shoulders and neck muscles have been relieved. Dr Sharik Ali was the only doctor who listened and actually understood my injury within a few minutes, and answered the questions which literally 15 other previous doctors were not able to solve. I had an injury to my left shoulder and neck 4 years ago and I continued to suffer with referring sensations which would affect me even while resting within a few hours. I would get nerve tingling and pain going down my whole left side of the body down to the legs. Dr Sharik was the first doctor to relate these issues to nerve pressure and irritated nerves, which no one else realised. He ability to diagnose is superior to any other specialist and his treatments are precise. I have started to immediately feel the difference and my shoulder pain has considerably improved. I consulted Dr. Shariq for chiropractic treatment 2 months ago for back neck and shoulder pain as other medications hadn’t worked for me. It gave me confidence initially as the doc insisted to have a full X-ray and mri done since I had this for almost 3 years to know what the issue precisely was since it was affecting my back shoulder and also the neck.
Have seen good results after my consultation with neck, shoulder pain and stiffness which Now is cured completely after 7 sessions taken and back pain reduced to atleast 50%( especially in the mornings which was always the worst time of the day with most pain and stiffness ). Unfortunately couldn’t continue after that as I needed to travel and look forward to going back soon.
Dr. Shariq also provided very good flexibility on timing for consultation which was very essential for me due to my busy schedule without which I would have missed most of the sessions.
Recommend to take the treatment without breaks as recommended by the doctor bcoz that’s what worked for me, during the session the pain can increase and decrease on day to day basis and the results could be seen only a few days later, it would not be fair to assess immediately after one or two sessions which I
Yes the treatment lasts only a few minutes and is expensive (especially with no insurance coverage, I got my reimbursement done as I didn’t have direct coverage) but it did have an effect better than taking medications I had tried earlier. Also I have checked with other chiropractors and the price range seems to be more or less the same, not really sure if there are ones for substantially less fee.
In my experience with my back pain lasting more than 3 years now before getting a chiropractic treatment , most importantly it’s mandatory to change our lifestyle (even after getting the treatment) wrt sitting posture , doing exercises , not looking down on our phones or laptops at a stretch to name a few, as these are the reasons leading to such conditions over years.
Hope this review is of help to others who are planning to get a chiropractic treatment as I was skeptical on this alternative to medicine approach before I took it as well, but now am glad I did since it worked out for me.

Went in to see the doctor because I’ve had significant back pain (typical desk work all day) that would last hours and made walking really difficult (the pain would travel down my leg). About one week into our sessions the pain has improved significantly and walking has not been a struggle. See Dr Sharik if you really want good results and honest opinion.

There has definitely been a dramatic change in my tinnitus. The sound levels have reduced by at least 60% very quickly. I was suffering since 2014 and I had been to so many ENT specialists, homeopaths, and even a psychiatrist who prescribed me medication for anxiety. Nothing else helped, until I came to see Dr Sharik Ali at The Spinal Health Centre. Within one week to ten days I started noticing marked improvement and now the constant buzzing, which used to sound like insects has greatly reduced. The pain and blocking of my ear sensation which I used to feel in my left ear has been removed. I am no longer in pain, and I have no blockage in my ear. I have found both the staff and clinic to be very professional. And I cannot even begin to mention how much Dr Sharik has helped me.
