Daniel was excellent and although I could not go ahead with the purchase due to a personal reason,Daniel dealt with it in a courteous,professional way and was so understanding of the situation. We hadn't bought a new car for nearly 10 years & it seemed a strange time to do so! However, even though we couldn't have a test drive the experience was made so easy by the extremely helpful team at Listers Coventry, especially Daniel Kingsley-Smith who talked us through everything & sent us a personal video of the car we were interested in. All the paperwork was completed on line in a very professional manner. We collected it ourselves in a socially distanced way and we are very pleased with our new car!

I purchased my second car from this dealership on Tuesday. I had the option of an early upgrade back in August 2020 but I felt the salesman at the time didn’t take any interest in my requests and I didn’t feel like a valued customer. This time around, Samantha was incredibly helpful. She showed me multiple options of cars and showed me video footage of the potential car. Overall, her customer service was second to none and I would definitely recommend looking into a new car with Samantha.

The World's Grumpiest Salesperson
Having been very interested in a Cupra for some time, I visited this showroom today for a look around a particular model (the Formentor).
There were a couple outside but locked. We went inside but could see that there wasn't one in the actual showroom. So, I sat inside a different model to get a feel for the build quality of Seats. Almost immediately we were approached by a young (female) salesperson.
She asked, rather abruptly, what I was looking for. I said, 'Formentor' and she snapped back, 'What type?" Now, I know there are number of engines but am not sure yet which one I'd like. But when I said, 'I don't know' she raised her eyebrows and took it as I didn't know the types.
She begrudgingly got the keys to a car and we followed her outside. Because of Corona restrictions, she stood some way away - which is fine of course - but didn't ask a single question as we looked around the car. She seemed completely disinterested.
When I said, 'Can I have a test drive please?' she responded with, 'We don't just give out test drives!'
I looked at her in astonishment.
She went on to demand, 'How are you going to pay for it?'
I couldn't believe my ears. I've never had a salesperson say that to me BEFORE I've had a test drive. So, I responded with, 'Well, I need to know if I like the car before I decide that?!'
She then said, 'Well, we need to know how you're going to pay for it before you have a test drive'.
I could tell she was in a really foul mood. And because she was so unhelpful I said 'forget it' and walked away.
I've been buying cars for over 30 years. I've always had a test drive before discussing finance. And I've never had such disinterested and grumpy service before.
Despite being still interested in that model, I won't be buying from Seat Coventry.
