Avoid this company! Worst courier delivery service in our area.
Had several serious issues with DPD including aggressive abusive driver and damaged items.
Have also had very bad problems with DPD when ordering items for friends and family in other parts of London and the UK – items going missing, items delivered damaged, items delivered on wrong day.
DPD customer service is an absolute joke however is not a funny one.
Basically they just do not care and are either rude when you call to complain or cannot get you off the call quick enough and make false claims complaint will be followed up.
DPD operatives clearly have no regard for customer care, no regard for customer safety, no regard for damaged items being delivered to customers, no regard for items being delivered late and do not follow up on serious complaints.
Boycott this miserable excuse for a courier service and go with more reliable companies whose names begin with U, F and H.
Additionally remember to complain to the original company you ordered from and demand your delivery costs are fully refunded.
Do not be fobbed off by the general customer serve line, send your compliant directly to the DPD CEO and Director of Customer Experience whose contact emails are easily available via internet searches.
Also remember to post your complaint on social media and tag the Consumer Watchdogs in your post.

Dpd Germany is by far the most horrible and unprofessional delivery company there is. There is no information about the law that the receivers and address names have to be exactly the same. A difference in the names got my parcel returned even after 4 times of contacting German and UK Dpds trying to update the addresses. On top of that, when I finally received my parcel which was completely damaged. Dpd is not willing to do anything about it, because there is a specific term for reporting damage. In conclusion, Dpd is unresponsive, unprofessional, irresponsible, slow and rude. I would never recommend it.

Had number of unprofessional experiences with DPD UK before. The most recent one was today. We were home waiting for our delivery during the allocated time. 2 Hours later when I finally checked my e-mail it said the package is left at our porch. We live in an apartment block so there is no porch. DPD left the package by the lift door 8 floors down and didn't even bother to ring our bell.

It is hard to describe how poor the DPD UK service is. The company supposedly tried to deliver a package 4 times without being able complete the delivery (they did not ring the bell nor called me, nor deposite the package on the door house). FYI there is no client service to assist you in this kind of situation, they would simply send an automatic email suggesting to download their app. Truly impressed by the lack of professionalism of these people. As a comparison stand point, Amazon delivers packages at my place on a daily basis without having any trouble, ever.

I was at home and waited for deliver very important medicine but driver didn’t deliver and updated that miss me, mean I wasn’t at home. Very unprofessional service. Big fat lair. I complained few times but service still same. Shame on DPD delivery team.

Absolutely disgraceful! 33 of my 36 parcels were delivered and they split the other parcels so drivers can get paid for my delivery at which i left a note on the door to leave in my cupboard. I come home and find the note on the floor and the driver saying wasnt home! My other 3 very important parcels are being sent back to china! Because I apparently wasnt home for 2 delivery attempts which they never made

Like many other reviewers of DPD UK, I have been lied to and let down numerous times by these delivery drivers. I have always been here when expecting a parcel, yet I'll get a message that they attempted delivery and I wasn't home. Liars. Half of the time I don't think they even leave the depot to attempt delivery. They just put in the system that they tried. There don't seem to be any consequences for their lies and lack of work ethic. Even the DPD customer service people cannot reach anyone at the depot during what are meant to be business hours. I have never experienced a "service" that requires so much work from the customer -- upload a photo of your building so we can figure out which one it is, etc. -- and then still cannot deliver. Ridiculous.

They never called me when they come to the flat. Our flat haa a broken bell and they have just gone away and saying they will come back later. I was really emergency to get a pracel so I was trying to call them, but they do not accept any calling nor live chats from customers. Worst parcel service I have ever had in my life

I personally love online shopping so I have experienced a lot of different delivery companies, and I must say DPD is the worst. Their drivers are so rude and irresponsible. I’m now still waiting for them to look for my selfridges parcel. It has been delivered to a wrong address And God knows where????

DPD drivers very often do not actually deliver or try to deliver - they are lazy and just pretend that they tried.
This week I was supposed to have something couriered arrive on Thursday but on both Thursday and Friday they apparently attempted to deliver but no one was in.
That is, in fact, dishonest. There is a building manager at my block of flats and multiple other delivereries arrived on both Thursday and Friday.

The worst delivery company. I often ask for packages to be delivered to my workplace that is open from 11am every day and has someone (which means they can either ring the bell of just push the door as it is open) inside the bar from 7am yet 90% of the time "they are sorry they missed me". Absolutely ridiculous.

dpd is currently the worst company I have to deal with. Packages are not delivered on time, sometimes you have to wait for a few days, you also have to call customer service - where you get only empty promises or complete lie.
Packages are very, very, very often delivered on time. 99% of time not

Two drivers claimed to have attempted delivery. Both never even knocked/rang the door. Went to the DPD depot as instructed only find that due to a “website error” it was the wrong depot and the actual place where my parcel is has now closed.

In the past 10 years we had many problem with DPD - they do not using bell, they do not knock on your door, customers always have to running after their parcels site to site, DPD employee most of the time left just leaflets to most of the customers, the DPD with these behaviour just pissing off people and they expecting after these kind of activities that: customers must be kindly to them, ...
In the past 10 years just 40% of the cases had good experiences with DPD, 60% of the cases we had something problem with DPD - I already never recommending DPD to the shops and if I forget to say/mentioning this to the sender/seller/company, they regularly using these cheap one company and after I almost always have problems!
