I remember this shop from my childhood and since my son is also cursed with wide feet I decided to give it a try. The moment we walked in we were asked if we needed help. The assistant was polite, great at getting my son to co-operate with the measuring and brought a selection of shoes to try. She didn't push any one brand and we came away with a comfortable mid price pair of shoes. Very impressed.

All is well till they’ve taken your money! Paid £46 for a pair of kids shoes only for the thread in the straps to come off within a month. The response was poor. In the end I accepted a repair. Wish I hadn’t, it looked awful. The way we were spoken to and treated was a far cry from before they took the money. I was left waiting for 25 mins before someone would deal with it and then they were very put out by having to deal with it. Needless to say I won’t be going back for next years shoes.

A proper shoe shop with service that, as a man, I enjoyed in that you can look around without being harassed then, once you've got your idea, an attentive and, above all, knowledgeable assistant helps you narrow it down. I bought an excellent pair of shoes in a half size and I will be back in the future. A good selection of casual, smart, and formal shoes is available.

Absolutely disgusting! Do not use this shop. I took my daughter here because I don’t like Clarks shoes and Russell & Bromley in Bromley had shut down. They were the nearest shop to us that had better quality shoes than Clarks. My daughters feet were measured by them and school shoes fitted by them. However when we tried them on at home the shoes did not fit properly. As you can imagine I was very disappointed. Having lost faith in them I decided to return the shoes rather than have my daughter refitted. I was told by the manager that it is company policy not to give refunds and I could only get a credit note! When I explained that I was not told this when I bought the shoes the manager said “We only tell people if they ask”. How devious is that?! She then proceeded to try and make me spend more money on insoles for a brand new pair of shoes that had been fitted by the shop that didn’t actually fit!! I was disgusted. When I asked for their complaint procedure I was given a business card (not the procedure) and the telephone number was hand written on the card by the manager. So unprofessional. I will be contacting trading standards as this is absolutely disgusting. Never use this shop. Customer service NIL. Professionalism NIL. Honesty NIL. Absolutely disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves

Lovely female staff but the manager is bloody rude, brought a pair of ugg flip flops 2 weeks ago and the flower fell off yesterday so I took them back today and the manager accused me of pulling it off because hes worked there for 33yrs!!!! What's that got to do with a faulty pair of sandals??. when clearly there wasn't enough thread in the first place.... very rude abrupt and wanted to argue with me when i only wanted an exchange...felt sorry for the lady staff caught in the middle
