Courtesy call to make sure I was getting on okay with the car. He was polite from the get go and although I made the decision to not go ahead with purchasing a car, (which was purely based on personal reasons) if my circumstances were different I would have 100% been a very happy customer. Absolutely shocking customer service, keep our vehicles for way longer than they need to and don't do anything unless you chase them constantly. Currently have a vehicle there that has been there for over a week and when i call no one seems to know anything about it. Not in the habit of leaving bad reviews, but I'm hoping that this will spur on some action!

We chose Abbey Lane in Leicester to look at new cars due to the fact that you have Peugeot, Renault, Dacia and Nissan all within walking distance of each other. All the makes we had shortlisted. Nissan and Renault both surpassed expectations with their customer care and service. Far superior to their close rivals. They were brilliant from start to finish and ended up buying a brand new X Trail which wasn’t even on our shortlist! Shane and Anna were faultless and we thank them very much. Rang up asking for a full service. Got work carried out only to find out it was minor service. Then told new brake pad required but labour cost not included. In the end what was to be £240 cost £440. Proper prices should be told when asked.

We originally bought a car from this garage in May, the USED CAR’s staff were lovely, really welcoming and helpful. Today we went to get our car MOT’d and we were booked in for 1:30pm, we arrive at around 1:05 to check our car in and the woman we were greeted by (Gail) was immediately defensive with her attitude and demeanour. On the phone we were told it would take 30-60 minutes to have an MOT. When we arrived we were then told it would be 90-120 minutes, when we mentioned we were told differently, Gail then replied saying “no.” Implying we were lying or misinformed. Due to COVID restrictions we weren’t allowed to stay inside the garage, (which is understandable) but if we had known before hand it would take up to 2 hours we would have gone somewhere else. We then said could we wait in the car until 1:30? (When the appointment was) and we were told quite frankly no that wouldn’t be possible. 1h 15 later we received a call saying our windscreen wiper needed replacing and were we happy to proceed? We said yes and asked when roughly the car would be ready? There wasn’t an estimate available. The man then asked if we would like a complimentary Car Valet, if we didn’t have to wait outside in Minus degrees we might have said yes, but we politely declined. 25 minutes later still no call to say if the car was ready or not, so we entered the garage to check. The car had been taken to be valeted even thought we’d asked it not to be. The lady on the front desk, was absolutely lovely, really understanding and welcoming, but again, Gail was anything but. By the time we received the keys it was 3:50pm. 2 hours 45 minutes after we dropped it off. Due to time taken and the rudeness of one of the employees, I would not recommend again. But again, the lady at the front was really lovely as were all of your other staff when we met them in May.

Wanted to give 4/5 stars.Experience when looking at the cars and buying my car was fantastic. Staff pleasant and patient as I'm not the best at making decisions. Got a fantastic car for a good price and was able to pick it up within a couple of days. However after service has been poor. I rang one morning got told would get a call back, no one called so called again to be told to ring next morning. Rang the next morning sales advisor said would deal with my problem and get back to me its now 2 days since that call and I haven't heard anything. Seems like they happy to sell cars but once they've sold you one they don't want to know.

When the mechanic, doesant look in the wheel jack kit for the locking wheel key your onto a bad road! Renault recommend 3.5 and 3.9 bar tyre pressure,was changed to 3.8 and 4.2. A charge for 250ml of screen wash thats a gulp less than a coke can is vitually pointless.should have had post service wash instead covered carpet matts in mechanic boot grime and a paper floor protecter clean enough for your friday fish and chips. The brand new unused spare tyres got 9mm tread still was good to know.

I would avoid I purchased a Nissan Juke from them. It’s not even been 20 days and the battery is knackered. I was sold a car with a weak battery and you’d think surely someone would have checked this ????????‍♀️ I left several messages and no one gets back to you. It’s not worth the hassle and I shall be taking legal action.

To anybody that is going to bring there car here for service I highly recommend you NOT to. Not only are they very over priced but they also lie to their customers regarding repairs and work that have been carried out. Service manger Ian Neal, has on a number of occasions lied about parts being fitted to customers vehicles because the wrong part had turned up and didn’t want to tell the customer and for them to leave a bad review. An exact example of this is a air pipe being fitted to a Dacia duster, which the incorrect part arrived so the service manager lies to the customer and advised it had been repaired, I have all details, pictures and evidence and WIP number , customer name and registration which the parts are still on as they were not fitted, but customer was told they were. There are a number of problems with this dealership but management being the main one and their lack of responsibility and their unwillingness to take charge and delegate. Not only do they name call employees, an example of this being ‘camp freddy’ but the whole running of the place is less than satisfactory. ‘Dealership principal’ Alan kershaw, takes absolutely no responsibility during the global pandemic regarding mask wearing, on a number of occasions has received complaints from customers as to why he walks around with no mask, pictured evidence too but I’m sure you guys can check CCTV, although this is company policy Alan kershaw also advised that it’s only government advice and staff do not have to wear a mask. Can somebody confirm this is true or not? I will be seeking legal advice regarding unfair dismissal however I would not recommend this dealership and don’t want anyone to waste money on repairs that are not carried out properly or at all in the first place as this is also a health and safety hazard too.

went to buy a used Renault Captur on Sunday 8th March, and was greeted, by Craig, who was very friendly and helpful. we were left alone to wander around and look at the cars available, then we spoke with Craig about my needs and a test drive, to which he arranged. I didn't feel pressured into buying there and then. I am very happy with my car and the service we received. I would go back to Renault Leicester to purchase another car.
