Bad customer service experience. With wrong information about how to return online purchases. No clear communication and now they told me that I have to call them and send back by post despite I live few meters far from their biggest shops…ridiculous. Now have to go around the city with their package despite in the email it is clearly written that I could return it in their shop.

I chose to buy my daughter an Arket sweatshirt for Christmas as I like the quality & environmental ethos of the company. Due to the current situation, I bought this item in late October and the item was dispatched on 3rd Nov. Unfortunately my daughter did not care for the sweatshirt so whilst I did not expect a refund after after 2 months, I hoped to be able to exchange this item. Please see below for the response to my request as per their email:
"We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with our service. Sadly weare unable to make exchages due to our warehouse not having the facilities to do this, nor do our systems allow us to do this either. This is something we have taken on board, and have passed on your feedback for, so hopefully it is something we can offer in the future.
On our website it does advise that any items purchased at ARKET between 4th November and 18th December can be returned until the 31st January 2021, with the only exception being if the item is faulty.
We understand your frustration and would love to offer you 15% off and free shipping, in case you would like to buy your daughter another gift to replace the item she does not like."
So basically they only have warehouse/return facilities between 4th Nov - 18th Dec. My order was dispatched just one day before their deadline and so I have missed out on being able to exchange my item. And to compensate for this appalling lack of service, I am asked to spend more money at their shop and offered the same discount that all new subscribers get.
Yes the quality of Arket clothing is very good but woe betide the person who decides that they want to return their purchase!

Great service, friendly staff and lovely place to shop. Love their coffee bar inside the shopping store. a great shopping store in the middle of the central london and just one minute walk from the Oxford Circus station.
We did some shopping and paid twice by mistake for one item. Called and explained them the whole situation over the fone and they were very helpful. The person I spoke, she said come whenever you want to and we will sort it out for you. I went their after good 3/4 days spoke to manager and sort everything out in 10 minutes. They were apologetic and gave a complementary coffee as good gesture.
Well impressed by their service and they day the dealt whole thing.

A great clothing and homeware store with a great selection of ladies, men's and kids wear. Simple good quality clothes with a good message & very good selection of home goods. Also a cafe onsite with coffee, sandwiches etc. Another great concept store from the H&M group!

Gorgeous store - Beyond beautiful with an incredible selection. The team are so helpful and kind - unfortunatly there just aren't many of them. I spent 15 mins waiting for a member of the team to be available to help me get something off a very high shelf. The only slight negative. LOVE this place

The store looks super clean and Scandinavian, products are great quality and shop floor service was second to none! Would like to come back for coffee and a pastry. Only downside was the lady at the counter was in her own world drawing on a old receipt and really didn’t look like she wanted to be there :(

Best tea in the area but is missing fresh warm food . Cakes are okay . Cinnamon or cardamom biscuits delicious. Service is really good.
In Arkat Covent Garden food is much more nice.

Everything a smart 40 something could need just don't expect to be overly inspired by the offer. It's got a growing up preppy scandi meets America vibe which probably appeals to aspirationals but I find it boring.

a premium and more minimalist version of H&M Group. Even if you’re not up for some clothing shopping, the cafe provides the best coffee around the area, accompanied with great pastries - though wish they have the sandwiches the other Arket serves as well.

A beautiful shop with quality products but the serves are unprofessional. Not only do they not help you with sizes but they are very rude, condescending and refuse to even help after you purchase from them.
I bought a few items only to be surprised that they were the wrong size when I asked to exchange the items they lost my receipt, accused me of losing it instead of owing up to their mistake then up and left to keep me waiting for a long period of time.
After waiting for eternity they printed a shameful recite that couldn’t even qualify. I asked for my money back only to be rewarded again by waiting!!!
I got my money back however no longer will I be their costumer again and if anyone will ask me about them I will advice them to stay clear and away from them and their products.

It’s says in google maps that it’s open from 8am either shop and cafe, not true, only the cafe and is empty with a grumpy lady that barely wants to work. Shop is open from 10 and the ladies are all grumpy

My best store to buy tshirts and underwear. Price is bit higher than before, but still good quality as Acne studio. Personally, Cos has better design and Arket’s cotton is strong :)

Lovely Nordic decoration, staff were nice and helped me to find a particular top that I bought all the colours. Some of their basic line are not expensive, e.g. a 100% cotton top from new collection with a beautifulcream pink colour was only 12£.

Shop and products are great and the quality as well. It is such a shame the service is AWFUL. I'm a student and usually I just show my studentbeans app and I got the discount automatically. This time, the woman (blond, short hair) didn't want to accept my student card even if I have all the proof I am. She even dares asking her manager and her manager has indeed accepted the discount. Once the manager left, this blond woman told me if it was her she would never give me the discount. Excuse me but this is the first time happening and how on earth she can be so rude with her customer? I will never come to this store again.

Upscale and minimalist version of H&M so if you have a problem with the ethics of H&M then look elsewhere. Quality is good, perhaps a par below the likes of APC, Folk, Norse Projects etc. but with the prices significantly below them. Not quite fast fashion as H&M. The cafe services good coffee and cinnamon buns.

Clothes are good, but store experience isn’t great. The curtains in the change room are connected so when you try and close your change room, it opens someone else’s. Ridiculous for a big company like this. Staff also seem confused and unable to cope with people asking for different sizes.

If you like Cos / APC, you'll love the carefully tailored basics of Arket and the minimalist approach of the store (which includes a beautiful homeware section). Unfortunately, the smallest size they do is UK 8, and the clothes can be a little pricey.
There were staff members carefully straightening all the items and keeping the clean, organized aesthetic in check; everyone was really friendly and even offered some hor d'oeuvres from the cafe!
Shout out to the amazing barista who talked to me about coffee, helped me pick some equipment and beans up, and was generally super nice and wonderful and awesome! Seriously, A+ staff
