A lovely spot in Guildford for a relaxed lunch or afternoon tea in a (hopefully!) sun-drenched rooftop atrium or on the terrace, with stunning views. I have visited here often, most recently for lunch in early September 2020. On this …

Food is of a decent quality, good view of Guildford as it is on the 5th floor. Table service was lacking due to lack of staff. Also, note that they did not take any details as required by UK Covid requirements. Date of visit 13 September 2020.

This place could and used to be better. Hardly any sandwiches in the afternoon tea and it states strawberries, we got half a strawberry each, complete joke. Way to expensive for the price.

Dissapointing... taken here for a birthday afternoon tea... wasnt what we had hoped. Plates where chipped, crockery not clean and sandwich bread was stale. We opted for traditional afternoon tea and for the price the atmosphere and food wasnt worth the value. Shame because could be something really good

Location is very nice. They also have a pumpkin carriage for reserve. We ordered tea, scone, and chocolate lava. The scone tasted good but the ice-cream that came with chocolate lava is not my favourite though.

Lovely sunny day, no service outside in the terrace. Bizarre. I’ve taken myself elsewhere. The view is all the have going for them. Not sure why they thought I’d want mediocre tea sitting behind a curtain.

A very sweet princess palace in the middle of Guildford. Needed a quick break from shopping and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cakes, scones, breakfast items and coffee on the menu. The roof garden is lovely to sit at when the weathers nice. It’s incredibly pink but darling as well.

Although the quality of food, drink and service is very good the same cannot be said of the actual surroundings. Most of the seats are suffering from ripped covers and seem to be in dire need of restoration. A great shame as it is supposed to be an upmarket tea room!

Unfortunately it's had its day. Decor is tired, chairs need reupholstering as nearly all are cracked and split. Most of the crockery is chipped or worn out. Scones were overbaked (or when reheated were left too long) so were quite crunchy and crumbled to nothing. Overall disappointed as used to enjoy it here.

Quite a few items from menu were not available, staff who didn't care about it and furniture that's torn and tatty. Overpriced and not worth a visit.
