Wont be wasting my time using these again. My local garage go to fill up every week, use the car wash and the vac. Number of times lately its gone downhill, car wash out of service, vac packs up while were cleaning the car out. Just come to fill up as normal this evening stood at the pump for nearly a minute waiting for the pump to be switched on, while the guy inside on the counter is chatting away. Shouted across but was ignored. Drove off and wont use them again

A well deserved 5 star to the lady who served me on Friday evening. A true professional at her job. Polite, enthusiastic and took the trouble to explain how the new app works.
The toilets were clean and the shop had plenty of items to tempt me. A big thank you to shell and in particular the lady who served me.

Fairly standard fuel station. Slightly pricier than supermarket fuel but has additives that help burn and clean so more mileage from tank. Can pay via shell app. Small cafe area and food/groceries.

Being a sufferer of rheumatoid arthritis, filling my car with petrol is always a painful experience. However, I was absolutely astounded to be met with such a polite young man on the forecourt who assisted me. A fantastic service by a fantastic lad. I hope he gets the recognition from his manager. This lad needs public acknowledgement and appreciation. Thank you.

Refurbished Shell petrol station and shop includes Costa coffee machine dispensing at £2.10 for a regular sized take out cup at the time of writing. Toilets clean. Free cash point available. This larger site accommodates extra parking. Good access in and out. Speed limit is 50 at the exit so take care. Staff friendly and attentive.

unprofessional, I went to fill up my car at 10pm and was asked to pay first, I offered payment on my card as I presumed they would have system in place where it takes authorisation upto an amount... no, I was asked to guess how much fuel was needed to fill my car, He said I could leave my card while I fill up, which I declined due to knowing the scams that go on (maybe I was about to be scammed), so in the end I had to pay £50 up front for my tank to only except £25 in, so when I asked to refund my card the difference he told me had to be cash payment back!! So I basicaly paid then £50 and was forced a cashback of £25ish.
If they are going to ask for payment upfront there should be a system in place to take payment, and they shouldn’t touch your card, defo not hang onto it.. Do not give them your card to hold onto.
Shell need to look into this matter.

I only really use Shell garages for v-power diesel so I visit quite a few and this is a good one, lots of space and it's easy to get the air/wash/pumps/parking which is rare most aren't laid out as well.

It's a petrol station. But they do sell confectionery, car accessories, beer and wine, fresh coffee and hot and cold snacks. There is an automatic car wash, plus jet wash, vacuum, air for tyres, etc.

Absolutely ridiculously overpriced!
Can of Coca-Cola cost £1.19 per can, 4 pack of beer cost £9! I'm all for paying the extra for convenience, but a rip off is a rip off.

Once again have had a terrible experience with one particular member of staff. Whilst most are friendly, this one night worker is appalling. I tried to purchase some tobacco. The first employee, who barely spoke English couldn't understand what I was asking for, so he called the other one over. The second guys face said it all, he just could not be bothered. He immediately claimed they did not do the tobacco I wanted. I told him I had seen it and it was on the third shelf. Very rudely he shouted what do you want? I told him, to which he said we don't sell it. I told him the shelf I had seen it on (100%sure as I bought some 3 days earlier and knew where to look) I saw his eyes fix on the tobacco, instead of admitting it was there he proceeded to pick up 3 different packs and tried to fob me off. I had clearly seen it and could still see it. He remained rude and impolite. As I challenged him about his total lack of manners some distant customer service training kicked in and he started saying thank you. I told him to leave it and would go elsewhere, which he agreed to also.
I went to the shell garage in Hagley. The attendant could not have been more helpful or polite.
I have had previous bad experiences with the attendant from the first place, where he has stood looking at me for 3 minutes refusing to activate the pump (I do not know why, I have a 10 month old car, I do not have a criminal record) I have also tried to buy tobacco before and he has been rude and dismissive on each occasion.
I was not given the managers name in order to make a complaint, hence this review. All I know is the attendant was working at 0020 hours on 21/4/16. I believe his name began with an A. He was the chubbier of the two.
Ultimately appalling service where it is too much trouble to serve customers (mark of a successful business I don't think) The guy needs some serious customer service training, failing that some common courtesy or basic manners would not go amiss

It's a normal shell garage, recently renovated and has a seating area for drinking coffee, using the Internet etc. Not a massive choice of food or drink but decent enough.

It has a Waitrose food shop and a coffee bar inside, which is good for picking up a bite en route. The staff are friendly and I like the premium diesel which gives me a few extra MPG and according to the garage I go to, keeps your engine clean as well.

I went to reinflate the tyres on my partner’s car. This was at just after 8 pm on Saturday 24th March 2018. I found that two of the tyre valve caps were missing. I went into the shop to see if I could buy replacements. There were none in stock. The assistant pointed out his car and said I could take his and he’d replace them later. I asked if he was sure. He said it wasn’t a problem and he didn’t want me to be stressed. Later my partner, who’d been in the store whilst I was inflating the tyres, told me the same guy had looked for an elastic band for her hair as they didn’t stock hair bands. What a completely lovely and wonderful man!
In the hope that this is read by a manager, there were two lads working there, both of South Asian ethnicity. The one who served us was the stockier of the two. I hope he receives some well deserved praise. He was simply wonderful and a credit to the company.

Yet again they fail in there customer service, there is only the one member of staff that is polite and willing to help.
I turned up this morning as i do 7 days a week got my Costa Coffee and was greeted by we dont stamp the cards any more since yesterday, i had my coffee card stamped yesterday and was told nothing about the fact that you couldn't use it anymore. i already had a full card in my wallet from earlier in the week and tried to use it only by the words "we dont accept them any more" repeated 8 times to each of my questions. So from now on i would like to reccommend the BP just down the road, who do stamp cards and are friendly and polite.
