Odd couple of guys in here that sold me a tyre with a slow puncture. Took it back to get changed and the chap just pumped it up and mumbled something about the valve being dirty and it should be fine - but I've since had to keep re-inflating. The tyre has almost worn right down to almost needing replacing again in only 800 miles so can't have had more than 2/3mm on it.
I think using them would only work if you really thoroughly check the tyre you're being sold and make sure it's not a lemon. I tried to but they make you uncomfortable and rush you along to get out the door. The other tyre I bought was good but I had to really hunt through them all myself to get a deal. Seems a strange setup. They just want to unload their oldest stock where possible.

I have used payless tyres since 2007 , when my good friend, Ken and the little jack Russel was there ! We had some good chats ! And was always looked after! Extremely well when it came to replacement tyres ! Now under new management! There is an excellent guy called monti , who will look after you ! For sure! Such a lovely fella! Who does not mind helping you any way he can !

Angry little man who doesn't know how to fit tyres save yourself a wasted trip you can see by the pictures the type of experience you will have they put the wrong size tyre on my car and also didn't tighten the wheel nuts i lost 2 wheel nuts on the way home

Great service, the guys couldn't have been more helpful. I combined the tyres being done with breaks and oil change from the mechanic next door (who is excellent! And I would highly recommend) so I wouldn't have to wait twice.

Under new managment, £64 for 2 second-hand tyres compared to £90 for 2 brand tyres ,won't bother with part worn tyres any more ,i did wonder why there were no other customers waiting ,its normally very busy .

Had a puncture and they had almost new tyres for less than half the price! They even dropped the price as I removed and fitted the wheels myself as I had a caravan on the back and couldn't park outside.

The best service in Brighton! Quick and efficient, cheapest prices for the best quality. The tyres I had fitted were almost new condition(1good year, 1 Hankook) and paid only 35 pounds each one. They busy so be prepared to wait, but it only means they are really good at job. Very friendly and professional. I will come back soon for another two. Thank you very much
