Please please please avoid going to this shop, one of the worst jewellery shop I have seen in my life. They take advance and later make you run around for months. They avoid your phone calls, when you go to shop they give false promise saying it will be ready by next week and the day never comes, and no one takes responsibility in the shop. Just keep passing on the phone. PLEASE AVOID IF YOU WANT PEACE OF MIND. WORST JEWELLERY SHOP IN LEICESTER!

Never come to this shop to sell gold! Ever! When weighing my gold, they did it away from me and took off 2grams worth of gold of my actual amount!! I went to another shop and I've saw how much my golds weight. I actually couldn't believe this. It's ridiculous. They should be ashamed of themselves. Cheating people like that.

WARNING DO NOT SHOP HERE!
I bought a 22 carat necklace a few months ago and other items too in the past. A few days ago I broke the necklace by accident, so I took time to travel all the way down to the shop as I live far. The ladies in there were SO RUDE! I showed them my receipt plus the box they gave me. They didn't treat me with respect, didn't offer any fair alternative, and kept going from customer to customer when I was first, which is UNPROFESSIONAL.
Don't bother with this shop. Very poor customer service. I'll take my honest business and money somewhere else. Never again!

They quoted high price for a chain, when i checked again if we heard it right there was a drop of 100 pounds mentioning that there is a discount. Didn't sound reasonable/reliable and we left the place without further argument.

They only guarantee gold and not the full product, which is ridiculous, and they don’t tell the customer. How crazy that they will not take responsibility for their faulty product. I asked for a refund on a faulty product after buying it only 2 months ago. I showed them the receipt, but they refuse because it was a hand-written receipt with no VAT number. But they gave me that receipt!
They are an absolute joke. DO NOT BUY.

Having previously purchased from sunny, we revisited them. However, this was a shopping experience from hell.
Firstly, the rate of gold they were charging per gram was £1.50 above what other shops were charging. When questioning them on that, they shrugged it off.
On top of that, they told us we owed them £75 from our shop 3 months ago because they had an error counting!? They counted the money in-store twice that day and you used a money counter. How can you get something like that wrong? The receipt clearly showed we paid in full, yet they were adamant it's an error on their pricing and we must pay.
Nevertheless, we paid them £75 for the sake of arguing, but you've lost a customer for life.

They are OK and nice to you until you hand over your money, then the customer service hits rock bottom. When you go to collect anything no one wants to serve you even though there are lots of people working there doing nothing, just lots of looks between the staff. Found them all a bit rude and dismissive, compared to how they were before the purchase. Don't think I will be going back any time soon.

Poor customer service, but prices are misleading. Once they give you a price they say that's the cash price, then if you want to pay by card they add extra and also say you have to pay Vat on top. Otherwise no receipts.

I have bought few times from this jewellers. but I have recently found out that they are not issuing real invoice thats shocking to me and my family what we been buying this years owner of this shop not giving us real invoices what they give to us in note book with shop name and no vat number display. I wasn't believe my self but when my aunt bought some goods and we went to the airport try to claim vat from HMRC counter they told us that this is not the invoice its just the estimate then we were shocked. I am going to complain HMRC about this FRAUD. no wonder why they are cheaper then others. and also found out they are not selling all genuine 22ct we done some search from what we bought we found out its not 22ct.

Feeling really ripped off after my shopping experience today... Quite upset really. I liked the look of a 22 carat ring at 2.7 grams. After negotiating the final price was £160. I thought they were being honest but they really charged me wayyy too much after going to other shops! I think at this shop you pay for the name. The same day I bought another ring and a pendant. I paid less for the same weight for the 2nd ring bought. A big big lesson learned!

I had a very horrible experience here. I had to wait long time before understanding that as I was wearing casual clothes and hijab the people in the shop weren't paying any attention to me. They were busy serving other people who came after me. It made me feel so low after this reaction of them. Later I approached to one of the ladies who took half an hour to show few jewelleries as he was going to other customers. He was so uninterested to even show me the jewelleries let alone discuss the prices. After seeing all this I was wondering how these people are still in business in this era in this time. If you believe in equality and diversity, please stop going to this place.

Realised my jewellery had disappeared so went back (as I had gone there to get a price on it before) however waited 20 min as they had locked the door (unlike previously). Finally a women opened the door after 20 min of pretending the shop was too full when it was practically empty. I then asked if they had seen it, but then she replied 'Why did you come after one hour to retrieve it?. I explained to her how it was only 20min as she was ignoring me waiting for the door to be opened. She then went into the back office, had a chat with another employee and came back. However instead of handing me the jewellery, she pretended to pick it up from the floor and gave it to me, emotionless and without words. At the end of the day I was lucky to realise this had happened and was able to leave with my jewellery, despite the damage incurred on it. ONLY COME HERE IF YOU WANT YOUR JEWELLERY STOLEN!

Sunny, who is born into a family of Jewellers, is professional, polite, helpful, down to earth and extremely customer centric. Sunny Jewelers are merceneries !
They have undervalued my gold on many occasions. Me being a leyman and not doing my research I have most likely lost thousands of pounds... you live and learn. I wish I had listered to my friends and familiy earlier.
For anyone who does not know much about the value of gold. Stay away from Sunny Jewelers, as there are plenty more honest jewelers on Melton Road.

We have been shopping with Sunny 7yr+ and they always are happy to help from small to large transactions, the ladies are all organised behind the counter even if Sunny is away they have always sorted our orders out.
