Paul had bought the car within 24hours and was collected within 48hours, arrived looked at car for 5minutes quick check over and money was transferred in 2minutes handed keys over and was a very easy and simple process. Sold this car for my 81 yr old father. Incredibly quick, polite, efficient service. No hassles, no skulduggery. Straight forward, straight to the point and to quote another famous brand "they do exactly what they say on the tin".
Price agreed on the Friday and at a much higher value than other well known "brands" in this sector and immeasurably higher than trading in with the vehicle manufacturer. The following Wednesday, the Car was assessed, payment made, vehicle transferred to the trade and vehicle driven away within 15 mins!!
Can't recommend Carter & Haines highly enough and their representative who collected the car, David, was a credit to the company and the industry. Lovely chap!!

Within an hour of posting my Audi A1 on AutoTrader online I recieved a voicemail from Carl at Carter and Haines.
I called him back we discussed my car and how their buying process works. I was a bit dubious in the first instance, I think media and TV programmes have damaged my faith in humanity.
However, I listed the car for sale around 9am and by 5.30pm the cash was in my bank and their driver was climbing in to the car.
Pleasant people to deal with. No pressure, straight talking. Job Done!

BEWARE OF SCAMMERS!!!
They contacted me on AutoTrader.co.uk about buying my car. After some negotiations over the phone, they asked me to share the V5C, id, proof of address and bank details. I trusted the good reviews on Google and trusted them.
The next day after they got my data and made me take the AutoTrader ad offline, they pulled out of the deal and claimed "internal policy has changed" (IN 3 DAYS) since initial contact. Then they offered cash compensation and asked for my bank details (again).
