I selected this garage for my first service and MOT in Leicester after travelling past on the bus. The process of booking and paying was quick and easy. They rang at lunchtime to explain what work needed doing in order for the vehicle to pass the MOT together with the full breakdown of the costs. There was a comprehensive paper trail of the different aspects of the service. My only criticism is that they asked me to collect after 5.45 pm but it was 6.20 before the vehicle and paperwork were ready but this was only a minor inconvenience. I would definitely return again in the future.

Always great customer service, took my car in for a service and realised whilst it was there that the MOT was due too, gave them a ring and they sorted everything out that day. Been going here for years now as they always price match and the quality of workmanship is always up to standard.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Took my car in for a service in May. Dropped it off in the morning and kept ringing up but no answer and no one bothered ringing me up. Went back at the end of day, was told there was a problem and needed new injector seals, but couldn't do it until next day, I was also told it needed new brake clean as the fluid was red, also had no reverse lights that needed to be done, okay do that as well. Returned it next day and had to wait most of the day as it needed a good clean. Heard the technician laughing to the other guys saying he'd better get on with it as I'd been waiting since it opened. Drove the car out without any power and nearly got rear ended due to no power, drove it back and the same guy realised he hadn't connected the air pipe back on. It's also become apparent now that- the reverse lights still doesn't work, the brake fluid is still red and if they forgot that they wouldn't have done the oil change either, however I did ask at the time if everything else was done as I had only seen the seals been changed, yes they've all been done was the reply, an obvious lie. So I paid 160 for a new air filter, if that ever got done. Would award 0 if I could.

Major service carried out on my vehicle. Dropped the van off at 7am as agreed with reception. I returned at 4.15pm and the van wasn’t ready for another 45 minutes. I had highlighted I would require wheel alignment due to uneven tyre wear and 1 new tyre on the drivers side front. This had not been done. When I got home I noticed only one wheel has been removed. Cable ties that secure the wheel trims had only been cut on the front passenger side wheel. I believe that for a major service all wheels should be removed to check the condition of the brakes. Did they run out of time so skipped this important check? I am now worried about what else has been overlooked. I am thinking I need to get it serviced elsewhere for peace of mind and safety. Not good.

Went to get a 4 wheel alignment for my BMW as I had changed numerous suspension components. I mentioned to them that the rear toe and camber adjustment bolts might be difficult to break free as the car is now 13 years old and if it isn't possible to loosen these just do a front wheel alignment. After waiting nearly an hour and a half my car was put on the lifts and it was back out in less than 10 minutes. The person at the reception - Andy said - to quote his words - "we were able to align the back as well, they are usually quite seized up, it has been well looked after" and proceeded to charge me for a full 4 wheel alignment (£48). When I asked him for an a printout of the alignment specs to see a before and after he said that the printer wasn't working and instead allowed me to take a picture of the screen which showed the toe and camber figures before and after... After I drove away I noticed the car pulling to the left so I went home and checked the figures on the picture that I took. To my surprise the rear had not been adjusted at all (despite Andy claiming that the bolt had come loose) - before and after figures were the same (please see photo with this review). They also managed to do the alignment using figures from a completely different model (e46 instead of an e92)... When I called back to ask about this, they wanted me to take the car back in. I took it in today and had to wait for another hour and a half (arrived at 4:30PM and the car was on the lift at 5:50PM). This time I was standing in the workshop and as expected the rear bolts were completely seized so there was no way that had been touched 2 days prior... They weren't able to break the rear adjustment bolts loose so they issued a part refund... The front alignment was also off spec and this was adjusted with factory specs from the correct car. What frustrates me is the very obvious lie and how many customers could have paid the £48 for a supposed 4 wheel alignment and had they not known any better left thinking they had all 4 wheels aligned...

I took my car here for a master service and was quoted £600 to make it “road worthy” as few things wasn't right which I was shocked. This is the first time I have used them and wished hadn't. I have wasted £160 for nothing. As per their checklist one of the thing was to check tyres air and they didn't even bother to fill the air. I am not sure of their integrity anymore. The way am being told is my car is not road worthy and I will need to spend £600. I told them I will go somewhere else. I wished if I had read all the reviews. Stay away from here paid £160 for a service and nothing being done apart from screenwash, air filter which is not £160.

One of the worse experiences ever, waited for over 1.5 hours purely just to get my tracking done, after 90 mins wait i couldn’t be bothered to wait anymore, the guy at the front desk provided probably the worse experience I have witnessed. I am aware it’s a small job and am sure the guys had more important jobs to get on with but to make someone wait and constantly do other jobs whilst I waited there was absolutely outrageous. Family members in the past have used this place as well friends, but I definitely will not be using them again. It’s a shame really because the auto centre has been good in the past. It kinda shows that people can either ruin the service or provided you with a great experience and this guy seemed like he was having a bad day.

Don't go there. Suboptimal work quality, and careless manager handling the complaints. They don't care about the customer. There was a problem with Track rod end on the right side, and they were working on the left front side which I spotted as I was watching from the waiting room. I immediately raised the concern, and they accepted the error. Had I not spotted this error myself, the faulty part would have remained unrepaired leading to the potential danger to the life. More annoyingly, they charged me the full cost for the service. I raised the formal concern with the manager Paul and they put the deaf ears saying when my car left the centre there was no problem( of course because I guided them where to work on). Like really!! I spotted the error and they corrected, but what about not being able to give any compensation as a gesture to admit their mistake!!! Suboptimal service with suboptimal/careless manager handling the centre.

I took my van in for a premium service. The mechanic told me that I needed new pads all round and front discs. This was going to cost an extra £300 on top of the service so I was reluctant to say yes to the work. I asked another mechanic to have a look and they said the brakes were fine and have at least 6 months left and the discs don't need doing. I find this very unprofessional and dishonest.

Long story short: Went in for an MOT....MOT failed because sway bar bushing "worn out" and headlights projection was incorrect. I wonder how come you haven't found my parking brake wasn't working....they charged me £80 for two bushings and headlight adjustment and now my car squeaks. Not to mention that I've came twice for a wheel alignment and still pulls towards left. Don't use their services as they're all about the money, they don't care what they're doing and obviously not professional.

This is the second time we tried using this place as when we went to a place near by we were told they were unable to look at our thermostat and advised us to come here. The first time they have made a dent on our bumper, giving us a card for a place where they could fix it, as the car is quite old and it would be too much hassle for no reason, we never went, but never the less we should not have to get our car fixed after we leave it in a place where it's meant to be getting fixed. Second time we went we dropped off the car on Saturday morning, before 09.00, and were told we'd get a call when they diagnose it to let us know the price. When we didn't hear back by around 14.00 we gave them a call in and were told they were not done diagnosing it and did not have an answer for us yet and would call us as soon as they knew. As it came to the end of the day I tried calling in before closing to see what's happening and no one picked up. The next day my dad with a friend went over to check on it in person and were told they still don't have any answers for them and that they would call in as soon as possible. When I woke up on Monday, as I work nights, at around 15.30 I gave them another call as at this point my parents have missed a day of work and were potentially going to miss another one due to them holding our car for 3 days. I was told the issue with brakes was the rear brake shoes, although sound is coming from the front. I won't really comment on that as I am not an expert so cannot really tell if that's right. When asked about the thermostat (the heating has not been working) I was told it's fine and not in a need of replacement. At this point my parents will definitely miss another day at work (Monday and Tuesday) even though we dropped the car off on Saturday morning. When I asked why were we not contacted for so many days, I was told they had the wrong number, and that the person responsible for our car (apparently the manager) was not in on Sunday when my father went over there in person. The most shocking part is that there was no attempted apology. The guy took no responsibility for writing down the wrong number (I've had the same number for 7 years, there is no chance I would not give them the right number). When I pointed out no one would pick up the phone when we tried calling in on several occasions (including earlier today), I was told they were very busy, as if that would make up for my parents loss of 2 day wages. And when I asked, if as he says the car was diagnosed on Saturday, and they in fact had the wring number, and in fact were too busy to pick up, why were we not told this on Sunday when we got there in person, all I got was I wasn't there. Even if this is all true, it's a failure on their part when not telling the rest of the staff what to do if the vehicle's owners come asking about it or actually picking up the phone when it's ringing, or writing down the correct number. I do understand we all make mistakes, we are just human, but as a professional business you should at least have the decency not to blame the customer for your own mistakes and apologise.

Been using this centre for the past 6 annual services however my most recent experience will be my last!! I gave my car in for service and was advised to have a part changed. This went ahead, however, due to the car knocking the next day, i had to take it back to the centre. This was arranged a week later and i was made to wait 2 hours. After a 5 minute look, I was told the issue was resolved however 2 weeks later it is still knocking. Will now have to take it elsewhere for repair which i find time consuming and expensive. This would have been overlooked however i will also note that considering i have been a regular customer there was a lack of customer service, professionalism and i was also made to feel that i was inconveniencing the mechanics.

I went there for a new tyre for my mums car, the staff were super busy so I expected a delay but it wasn't that much of a delay. They were really friendly and professional. My only problem was that the waiting room was cold so I was walking around it to keep warm????

Excellent Service today Oct 2020 Phoned and ordered two new tyres. help given finding right match. Arrived next day as promised and were exchanged and balanced within the hour. Time to walk to B&Q and back to do a little shopping. Given advice about tracking as near limits but as car going back to main dealer declined at this stage.

Great service! The staff were all so friendly and there were no hidden costs! I took my car in for a service and they checked the whole car for free and told me my breaks and wipers needed to be changed. They didn’t change them without asking me or pricing it up. I didn’t have the work done as i have my car booked in for its breaks and they were not awkward about it at all. A great transparent garage! 100% recommend Iv used them twice now and I will continue to use them again!

Car was dragging from wheel when turned steering wheel. They said need full service, new tyres, new suspension, new links, new shock absorbers when all I needed was new tyres. Don't use unless you know what you exactly want as they do have all the tools. Get other places to give you prices as these lot want to do things that don't need doing.

* Warning DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE * Took my 4 year old BMW 4 series in for a routine MOT and had booked an online appointment for 1pm but the guy at the desk claimed it wasn't booked in and couldn't find it. I then showed him my confirmation and my reminder email that proves it was booked and from their own website. He then says it's been double booked and with no apology ( not my problem as I used their online service and received their confirmation). I then wait over 2 hours for the MOT check to be done. Whilst I'm waiting I notice every car that comes in for an MOT subsequently 'fails' I even saw a 17 plate BMW that apparently had a few 'problems'. I was confident my car would pass it's MOT as die to the pandemic I have driven the car much, it's only 4 years old and regularly serviced. Also it had only been serviced at Sytner BMW 3 months ago and they sent a detailed video detailing the car is in ' good shape' tyres, breaks, bushes etc. I am then shocked to hear my car has 'failed' the MOT due to service brake excessively fluctuating, suspension arm pin or bush excessively work on nearsidw and offside when I challenge this with the guy at the front desk he claims BMW won't pick this up when they service the car and asked how many miles I had driven since it was serviced, my response was less than 500 miles. He doesn't even give me eye contact as he knows he's just making things up. This garage is run by cowboys trying to make some extras for faults that don't exist. They are not fit for MOT testing and their license should be removed. I have booked in my car with another garage who has confirmed their is nothing wrong with the bushes and will do a full rest tomorrow. I will be writing a complaint to receive my £42.50 back. Don't use these guys I didn't even get a free winter check or wheel alignment check although this was offered online. Pathetic garage with even worse staff.

Needed two tyres replacing. Ordered them for me the next day and fitted them by 12pm. Good service and good pricing and didn’t take long fitting them. Balanced the wheels too and changed my wheel nuts for me. Would definitely recommend.

RIP OFFF!! Went for my MOT last year as I found them on Groupon for £25 service and MOT only to be given a bill of £700 for repairs which included brake pads, discs, shock absorber, tyres, needed replacing etc. As it was the last date of my MOT expiration I had no choice but to get the repairs sorted at that price. 6 months down the line my brakes started to make a squeaky noise, went to a different garage and the mechanic said I had to replace my brake pads as they worn out and even showed me the old ones. I don’t even know whether my shock absorbers and other repairs were ever Carried out.

I mistakenly requested incorrect tyres which they never picked up on. fortunately they never fitted them as I eventually had the correct ones fitted elsewhere. all in all, although cheap, definitely not a company I would recommend. following contact from the company I can add that they quoted me for my Mercedes clc200 coupe, (and seemed happy to fit) front & rear 225/40 18 tyres when the manufacturers recommendation is front 225/40 18 & rear 245/40 18.

One of the vorst auto shop in Leicester!!! After service my car engine oil was leaking!!! I took my car for service they was good on reception but someone called me and he add lots of work which is totally wrong because I did full inspection few days ago every thing was good I told hem just do full service when I start my car offer they finished service I felt nothing different they only topped op engine oil and oil was not level I give them 6 LT oil and they put less than 5Lts I think they changed only Engen oil they didn’t change any filters Very bad experience !!!

I took my car here for a master service and was quoted £900 to make it “road worthy” which I thought it couldn’t be true but not being a professional I couldn’t argue it so I left it till my mot and the place I took it said I was the 12th person to say the same thing in two weeks my car passed the mot with no fails at all even tho I explained them what to look out for. Stay away from here paid £160 for a service and it’s not even been logged in my book it took over 3 hours for them to do it I shall not be using them again 1000% scam look at all of the other reviews they will say the same Top mounts Suspension Anti roll bar rubber been removed Totalling £900 joke If possible I’d leave 0

Rang this morning for a price on a pair of tyres, quoted a fair price. Took the car down, waited over 20 minutes in the reception but was ignored and not even acknowledged by the staff. Gave up and walked out. Absolutely appalling service. If they can afford to lose £150 of my business then good luck to them. I was also going to book the car in for service and mot later in the year with another £200 worth of business. Not anymore. I’ve always had excellent service from them previously but would never return. It has also put me off using the group.

Sept 2020.My car went in for a service and Mot, failed on rear exhaust emissions. Picked the car up after a new rear exhaust had been fitted the following day and brought the car back to the garage 20 minutes later. The exhaust was blowing excessively on the joint of the exhaust that had been fitted, however it had been retested prior to being picked up and passed.....? Paid £300 For my car to come out of the garage with the same problem it went in with and spent a day driving round with a clattering boy racer exhaust after being asked to bring it back the next day due to the garage closing.

Good in terms of changing the parts. Bit pricey. And also unprofessional. Kep my car since 10am and was told to pick up around 5ish. Went there and they were still working on it and took another 30 minutes.

Formula One Autocentre dealt with the standard service and MOT elements fine (I have used them many times before). However an airbag warning light was not addressed "it didn't come on whilst it was with us"...however the light soon came on when I was travelling home. Disappointed that the fault wasn't dealt with and now I have to re-book elsewhere to get the issue resolved.

Always been good to my cars over the years, they have serviced everything from my Hyundai to my Mercedes. When I had a minor issue with my electric window jamming they managed to fix it really quickly and did not even charge (just needed a bit of a tighten and some lubricant). Always friendly and very easy to book online (big plus for me as I can book in the evening when I'm at home)

Great Autocentre. Service is good, prices are fair and the staff are friendly. Been getting my MOT and Service done for many years as have my family. They are usually affordable with offers if you book an MOT with the Service. They got both done in one day along with the repairs I required. Definitely recommend.
