We called to try and order from these guys. The lady on the sales desk couldn't have been less bothered or less interested in us placing an order so the company has now lost a £1500 order. If any member of my team provided customer service like this I would be devastated. I hope the owner of Shop-Equip sees this review and can do something about it because the person they have representing them over the phone really did just lose them a sale with her awful attitude and poor customer service.

I now understand the 1 star ratings. They supply faulty goods and can only offer “repairs” on a brand new item. Repairs take long too. Go to big retailers rather.

Recently placed an order for some bespoke woodwork cabinets from them, asked for a specific delivery date a couple weeks down the line from me ordering. They had them ready and gave me a call a week in advance to double check i was still ready to receive them and gave me all the information i needed on the delivery. Couldn't ask for a better service and the cabinets are perfect, not a mark on them.

I purchased a commercial fridge from them a bit over a year ago. Unfortunately i had an issue with the evaporator, but Shop-Equip promptly arranged a repair. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I would definitely buy equipment from them again.

Really disappointed with the service to date. I ordered a new chest freezer this time last week on ‘next day delivery’ and it’s yet to arrive. The delivery company these guys use are totally useless. I’ve tried calling them and tried calling the delivery company. The first attempt of delivery the driver gave up trying to find us... we are a massive golf course, not hard to find.. and the second attempt never happened... I was waiting until 6.30pm on the assurance delivery would be made before 6. Sort it out and find a new delivery company!

Ordered from this company. Signed for products received, only opened the boxes a week later. All items sent were damaged. I complained, received no reply, after multiple follow ups I was informed nothing would be done due to being beyond 24 hour time frame. Poor products, poor customer service. Save yourself the trouble and find a better supplier.

I've been buying from Shop-Equip for many years now. From commercial diswashers and water boilder to a custom made boardroom table. I mainly use them for cleaning consumables ( rinse-aid and detergent for the commercial dishwasher). I've always found the people there to be friendly and helpful and if something if going wrong they always try their best to help out. I would recommend

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. I ordered a freezer and paid for it. When it was due to be delivered they have decided to try and charge me over £600 more. Every time I have rang they have been rude and didn’t care about the rules of trading. I still haven’t had my money back or the item

It's a shame that this company has those few good ratings because the service we got from them is terrible. The driver calls you one day after purchasing the good and tells you that on the day of the delivery they will be calling you 30 minutes before. What they do is they call you only 10 minutes before the delivery time. They make you wait from 8 am until 6pm no matter that you have other duties throughout the day. Obviously, I missed the delivery and when I called customer service they didn't even corporate to help me in this situation. They did absolutely nothing. I still don't have the fridge I paid for and I am supposed to pay storage charges too. This company is a joke!

I have recently bought some kitchen string from Shop Equip (amongst other things) and am really disappointed with the quality. It claims to be for tying off meat, but breaks under the slightest pressure. This may seem trivial, but I am now faced with a 30 mile round trip to buy a product which will actually do the job. I need reliability. I ave not found it with Shop Equip so will be doing my online shopping elsewhere from now on.

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY" Ordered a new twin buffallo fryer and received an used one. there were no plastic wrap on the fryer and marks everywhere. We had to use it due to emergency but called the company next day. Advised me to send pictures which I did and after a week of back and forth emails they offer me £20 and tell me it's my fault that I used it and should have called immediately. as the fryer is working and has only few marks £20 was sufficient compensation, need less to say told them they can keep it. Shame on you shop_Eqiup. Due to emergency I made a mistake ordering with you and not nisbets. Learn a few things from nisbets customer sevice department.
