Awful customer service, if you don’t get your appliance here they will not help you at all. We purchased a washer at Best Buy and when it broke they told us to call the manufacturer (long story with Best Buy they told us we had warranty and sent Geek Squad our to our home but then said we didn’t have warranty but geek squad took parts of the machine apart) who set us up with Appliance Village. I set up an appointment and when no one showed up I called only to be told that they wouldn’t come unless someone would put the machine back together and very rudely told me (Brian or Ryan in service) to go back to the place I got the machine! For a local place I would expect better than this, very disappointed.

Very helpful, local, will come to your house to fix it as long as your in town. Service men on site. Don't have to rely on a 1800, outsourced service company. 3yr warranty included in price. Inexpensive delivery and recycling charge to remove old appliance.

I wish I could give 0 stars, because this place deserves it. The salesman was very nice and knowledgeable, but after we purchased our new fridge on November 17th, it all went downhill from there. There was no communication about the delays that were occurring during the delivery from the factory (3 week delay and no update any of the weeks). There was no communication for delivery, I had to call to schedule it which I shouldn’t have to do. We received a call 30 minutes prior to delivery that it was on the way, I guess it was a good thing we were home. I will not purchasing anything from Appliance Village again and will be going elsewhere for my appliances in the future. EDIT: 2 weeks have gone by now after they said to contact them, and no response even after I took time out of my day to respond the day the comment was added. Shows the “dedication” they have to communication with customers.

I spent $2600 on a new Maytag refrigerator about one year ago and have had nothing but problems with it... first some 3 way valve went out and it started making a horrible noise so loud it was waking me up at night, and it took them over a week to come out and look at it. Now the temp in the fridge stays warm and will not keep anything cool....and because I didn't buy an extended warranty Appliance Village pretty much told me it's not there problem anymore. Nice customer service guys. I will definitely finish buying the rest of my kitchen appliances elsewhere. (Update) after posting this review, my sales rep Scott from Appliance Village reached out to me and also contacted Maytag about the issue and they agreed to pay for the repair since this was a known issue with this refrigerator. Thank you Scott for providing the great customer service!

I can't say much for their sales but I requested service for our gas range and was treated extremely rudely on the phone by a tech. He basically said that because I didn't buy it from them, he was unable to help me. In his words, "That issue is between you and the place you bought, I can't help you". This is after Frigidaire specifically gave me their names as an authorized service dealer.

I try and I try to keep business local. Unfortunately, here’s another example of Rochester’s business model: July 30 2018: Peruse the floor...lots of people coming and going without any acknowledgement. Finally snagged an employee. Inquire as to stock (oh, not that one; oh, sorry we don’t have that one either; oh, well we have one but it’s already spoken for but let’s see if we can snag it and order another for them). Finally opted for a model which required an order. “It’ll be here in a week” (and invoice says it’ll be in on 8/8). They direct you to an employee who “contracts” for install for cash discount (nothing shady there, right?). Get everything ordered and they’ll call when it arrives. Aug 8, 2018: don’t hear a peep. Call them. First person says “well, uh, uhm, can I put you on hold?” Literally 5 minutes later, he comes back on “well our order guy isn’t here today so he’ll call you tomorrow”. Uhm, excuse me but do you have my dishwasher or not? “Well, it’s somewhere between here and there.” (Yea, sure, Timbuktu?). Fine, call me back. Aug 9, 2018: I get a call from original sales guy. “Hey, your dishwasher will be here NEXT Friday!” (He sounds excited about this amazing turnaround that’s only 10 days later than expected!). My reply: “let’s do this...give me a refund and cancel my order” (that you obviously gave to someone else like you originally tried to do for me on the sales floor). “Uh, uhm, okay we can do that.” Great, thanks. (Another call, “uhm, our machine doesn’t have any way of saving your information so you’ll have to come in and process the refund....FINE!). In sum, go elsewhere unless you want the runaround and lies. Not for me! And if you have my dishwasher, shame on you! Meanwhile, 8/10, go to competition, get same brand, similar model dishwasher IN STOCK and ready for install next Wednesday 8/15.

So disappointed in their customer service. Bought a refrigerator from them 2 years ago and had to replace the ice machine 13 months later. Now, 10 months later, it's broken again, and they want NO PART in helping us. Suggested WE had to deal with manufacturer because they have "no contact with them". The Appliance Village salesman STRONGLY recommended the refrigerator, they were happy to take our $1700 and now, they have no interest in helping in any way... Didn't even return my final call to the service department after promising to "further look into it" and call back. SO DISAPPOINTING and really BAD for (their) business. NEED to find a new appliance store which cares for it's customers ... even after the sale!

Dryer belt broke over the weekend and after calling the store that I had purchased from, I tried here at my cousin's suggestion. Not only did they have a new dryer belt in stock, they recommended the Whirlpool part instead because it was the same thing and $20 cheaper than the Samsung version I was looking for.
