I just purchased a Land Rover FreeLander 2 from Motorline Direct. I loved the no pressure approach, I’m 54 so remember the days of high pressure car sales, nothing like that here. In fact Gary the salesman did a great job, reassuring all the way. I also liked that all cars had marked prices and the price is the price approach, for me this means I paid what you’d pay, I haven’t walked out thinking maybe I could have saved a bit more if I’d pushed it. The car clearly had a very good clean job, inside, out and under the bonnet, it looks like new! I think this is the first car I’ve ever purchased where I’m 100% please with everything. Full marks to this team and fully recommend!

I purchased a Mercedes S500e (2015) 2 years ago, with 60k miles, and since I owned it has just broken down every single month. I have had to change the alternator belt, the starter battery, the starter motor, the wish bone, alloy wheels, air con pipes, air con compressor, the crack on the windscreen, when I bought it (which on the first day of inspecting the car, it had not had a crack, though on arrival for picking it up, I could see one, which tells something fairly dodgy with this company, but I put my trust in them, as they ‘told me everything about the car, and that it was in perfect condition’), seatbelt failure, spring links, coolant thermostat, inlet connection, ABS system failure, transmission malfunction, with the fly wheel malfunction, thus not holding it into gear. The trunk of the car is unaligned, suggesting that it was in an accident, but they refused to ask the previous people who owned the car if it was involved. They told me that they do massive checks on their vehicles (i.e. they told me that the vehicles are inspected, as well as HPI checked). They never told me about the fact that I would require to replace all of this in my car, and I was extremely disappointed about this. I explained them my situation, and they refused to help, at with anything at all. All I got from them is accusations (of me accusing them, which I wasn’t, but clearly they are too sensitive), and that they’ll take me to court, when I am the one who is affected, not them. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY VEHICLES FROM THEM, IT’S A SCAM, AND IT PUTS YOU AND OTHER ROAD USERS AT RISK, IF YOU PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THEM.

I brought a 2016 golf r. I loved the car. After 600 miles I had a horrible vibration. I've got a car garage myself (malcolm Miles motor engineer Ltd). I'm not one of them to go back for warranty warranty warranty but after I put a new wheel bearing on the noise was still there. So I called up and explained my problem and also I need a curiosity car. I dropped my car off and picked up a curiosity car. After 3weeks of struggling to find out the problem I get a call to be told its all good and ready for collection. New: rear discs and pads, prop shaft reworked and checked. Etc etc. The problem was osf wheel bearing. After going to 2 vw specialist who couldn't find the problem. What I'm trying to say is that it is hard to get a good name but very easy to get a bad name. This company went head over heels to help me out. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I WILL RECOMMEND YOU

Recently bought a car from Jas at Motorline and couldn't fault any of the process. Based in London so talked through the car over the phone initially as well as price for PartEx on current car. Even said he'd give the amount he's offered for the car regardless, if I could find a better price then to go for it... Wasn't pressured at all and loved his approach. Paid a holding deposit and car was ready 3 working days later. Drove up from London, car was exactly as marketed with full service and MOT completed. Found Jas brilliant to deal with, really personable guy and made the process easy from start to finish. Would 100% recommend and will be using again for sure, although might be a while as love the car we've bought! 5/5 and thanks again Jas!

Arranged to test drive a car at a specific time and highlighted that we are currently living with a vulnerable person and it will need cleaning with wipes etc before we enter the car. We were staggered to see at our arranged time, the car we arranged to see was being test driven just as we arrived. Obviously this was against the appointment time and what we said about cleanliness, wasting our time as we weren't going to wait for them to finish and then clean the car when we had an appointment.

Got a car from them about a month ago, was dealing with Gary from sales and he was helpful with answering all of my questions. Had a problem with my car - the coils had worn out. I arranged with Jade to come back in to get it sorted on the same day I had a problem under warranty, sorted it all out and was ready to go the next day. All the staff I dealt with were helpful and would definitely recommend.

Excellent service, especially from Laura and Ellen. Looking at and test driving the car(s) were both pleasant experiences. We purchased a month ago with the minimum of fuss; Laura ensured all documentation was checked beforehand, and we enjoy the car. Small, after sale adjustments and repairs have been made, again with excellent service and welcome. Still early days, but we feel that any issues would be dealt with in a courteous, helpful, professional and friendly manner, by all staff. Thanks very much.

I would highly recommend Motorline Direct, all staff are extremely helpful and were able to answer any questions I had upon the purchase of my first car. The process was smooth with good communication throughout, when I received my car two days after paying the deposit the car was exceptionally clean inside and out. Needed to find an estate car suitable for my dogs but also one that I would love myself. Stopped in at Motorline, was able to browse all vehicles, found the perfect BMW 5 series, great specification, fab price - happy with the offer on my part exchange which saved me the hassle of selling private. All the sales staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Picked up the car a few days later, the valet was top standard. Will be back next time! Will recommend, thank you again.

I’ve read so many bad reviews about the sales person Jas who I also had to deal with. He was the most unprofessional, rudest sales person that I’ve met and I was genuinely upset by the way I was treated. Buying a car should be a happy experience, whereas he made it the complete opposite. Was not helpful at all, kept interrupting up whilst speaking and made us wait for a very long time. He was SO condescending and didn’t treat us like customers. At one point he even said don’t bother buying the car. It’s a shame as the cars we looked at were nice and what we wanted. If you do go here, make sure you don’t deal with Jas - not worth your experience.

These guys were great, no pressure to buy, they were just helpful where they could be. They have a massive range of vehicles. When I did decide to buy from here the pick up process means I had to come back 2 days later but during that time they serviced my car, gave it an mot and a good clean and even an independent thorough check from the AA. I left with the car and am additional years warranty, I have absolutely no doubt this car will last at least as long as I'd expect probably way longer.

The car we bought after a few weeks broke down . !!!Motorline Direct together with The Lion Garage to avoid repairing our car and trying to blame us for breaking the car (it was a diesel car) pumped out diesel and poured petrol to the tank(strong evidence of this, among other things, evidence has a number of liters of fuel before taking the car and after returning, the car did not run) ! we had some luck and a lot of evidence for our innocence!!! We reported the matter to all possible organizations. With the help of the Financial Ombudsman Service, we won the case and regained our money.

I wouldn’t use this car dealer again, usual story all very attentive until the sale has gone through. Highlighted work needing repaired but this was dismissed as not covered and the dealer clearly hidden damage to the car and didn’t fully disclose the history of it to me. Avoid.

Cowboys, I brought a car from here and after we picked this up we found many faults. When i phoned the garage they looked at the car and refused to fix any issues (2 issues would have been MOT failures). I then spoke to the sales manager who told it was my problem now as I brought the car. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID, AVOID !!! AVOID !!! AVOID !!!

What can i say.. These guys take all the hassle of buying a car. Hardi dealt with us from the time we saw the advert, phoned up put a deposit on it to pick up the following wednesday. Everything was done clerical wise. He even welcomed us with a cup of coffee. I have just come to the dealership to look at a car with a family member, the sales representative had an appalling attitude, he tried to force my family member to purchase the car with the words "I don't want to waste my time moving the car and you come back to me saying I will think about it". He has just missed out on a sale because he didn't want to waste his time, my family member was ready to purchase the car however due to the attitude of this sales representative he has decided to go elsewhere. I have just recently purchased my new vehicle and never have I once been treated with such disrespect at any of the dealerships I went to, I think you need to review your sales representative and assess if customer service is the best field for them.

Wish I could do zero stars .Dealt with Jas at Motorline in Loughbrough.Couldn't be any less enthusiastic if he tried.. his tone on the phone was all wrong no people skills what so ever. Didn't answer emails. Asked for a little bit of give on the price of the car.. basically told no chance. Was going to cost me a hundred pounds on the train asked for half back as a good will gesture.. same reply. Poor service. Lost out on the sale of an 11k Mercedes. Poor. Booked In for a test drive arrived at booked time. Car was in back of showroom! Was told that unless they do paperwork searches we couldn't have a test drive. Drive 20 miles and was a total waste of time. Don't bother unless you're happy to buy a car without driving it!

Spoke to Raj and he was so pleasant to deal with. Offered me a hot drink while i walked around the showroom and gave me time and space to view cars at my own pace. Raj then showed me great finance packages which are a lot cheaper than the main dealer. Highly reccomended and happy with my purchase. Staff are friendly and honest. I am absolutely disgusted!!! Please do even bother to attending this car garage. As soon as we walked in 2 members of staff looked us up and down! Then after waiting about for 30 mins and asked 4 times we was finally seen, to be told we couldn’t view the car until we either put down a deposit or consented for a credit check. Please do not waste your time visiting this please. All the staff need a good lesson in customer service!!! This is against FCA regulations and should be reported!!!

I recently bought a BMW 1 series after changing my mind from an AUDI that I originally liked and found the salesman " Hardy" so very helpfull as are the after sales team " Ellen and Anna" and I found the whole experience brilliant and will certainly go back there for my next motor . And here I am after my next car, my BMW 1-Series was brilliant and it was faultless but I’ve spotted a jaguar that I like the look of so lm in the process of buying it. I don’t think I will go anywhere else for a car now, the sales and after sales people are so nice.

Bought Golf R 14 plate April 2018 by Xmas the same year and only 2000 miles drove total was 26300 miles and unfortunately out of there poor warranty period had to spend £1000 on a new clutch as the original was slipping and badly worn and was slipping from day one. Unfortunately I do not know much about cars and kept using it. Learnt a lesson....Also found out after the car has had extensive bodywork around the petrol cap so it’s been in an accident not declared...I was also told it had full service history so I was surprised at Xmas for its service and Mot as it hadn’t been stamped. I wouldn’t recommend this company as they seem to be cutting corners. Luckily touch wood the car has been fine since the new clutch has been fitted. Poor form and bad experience...

Nothing short of the highest professional and excellent quality service I received when buying my car from Motorline Direct. I had to make a choice from three cars that were all perfect for me. Their patience was astonishing (especially Raj). In the end, I chose a Mercedes A class . I picked up the car the following week, which was immaculately presented. More importantly, they explained everything to me that I needed to know, including what had been done for the service and MOT in order to retain the Mercedes guarantee. Well where do I start? Great all round customer experience no! Fantastic customer experience 2nd to none. Breath of fresh air. Why can’t all car buying be this straight forward? Some of the best customer service with cars I have experienced. Gary was very informative and helpful with information and a quick pickup. Dealership was clean and in a convenient place. (next to M1 and near train station) Picked up the car. Car developed a fault that wasn't obvious until 80 miles had passed. Was expecting the cold shoulder when I rang but was very surprised to speak to Ellen who couldn't have been more helpful to sort the issue out locally to me rather than returning it. They went above and beyond the warranty package that came with the car. Would buy here again.

very satisfied with their service. When I bought my car from these guys, it was only 24 hours after I had moved to the UK ! and I knew nothing about the procedure for car purchase and prices here. now after a year, I know that the price I paid for my car was very reasonable and I have not had a single problem with it. They were honest to me and I didn't feel pressure to buy the car. And they were honest because I had (by mistake) paid 50£ extra for the car without being aware of it, the day I went back to pick up the car they told me this and gave me the money back. thank you for a good service.

Dreadful service. I travelled 4 hours to purchase a car which was described as immaculate. When i viewed the car it was far from it. a poorly filled in dent with the paint bubbling. scratches on the bumpers which had been filled in with what looked like tippex. rip in the seat and a big chip in the windscreen. to top it off the sunroof didn't even open fully. To when i questioned the arrogant salesman he replied saying i didn't see these marks as the cars are packed too closely together and that the windscreen had passed the MOT. I wouldn't ever give this garage the time of day after making it extremely clear that i was coming from a long distance and didn't want to be mucked about.
