Shopped here quite a few times during the covid lockdown for Garden strimmers and all sorts, great product however the service... I’m sure there’s meant to be two managers present yet I only ever see the young man with his hair in a bun the other manager should be ashamed of himself staff everywhere chatting away whilst he’s running around for my sake. No doubt hiding out back like a lot of useless people who find themselves in these roles.

Collected my item and when i came home there was bits missing so I went back to swap for same and was told that I have to go to Sainsburys Argos to do that. I was not told this when I Collected my item!!! I made 2 trips that was not my fault , and now I need to make third one to sort my problem ????. It doesn't make sense that I can buy another one but they won't swap even its their own fault. I'm sure they are braking the consumer rights act as I made contract with the store when I made purchase. Now item that I bought will cost me much more!!!!

Bought an ipad from argos netherfield in july 2020.. due to password, passcode etc mismatch the ipad got locked. Contacted apple, inorder to unlock the apple demanded the original proof of purchase from.. produced the argos receipt as a proof. They did not accept it as a proof coz it didnt containna serial number od the ipad.went to argos and spoke to the store manager.. totally disppointing approach from the manager of such a reputed company. He was unkind.. didint give me any help. Rejected my request without any mercy. Ipad become a piece e of junk. Will have to go in the bin soon. Will not recomend thos store or visit again.

Tried to return an item, the next day after purchasing it. It was unopened and unused for a refund. The customer service from one of the members of staff was completely rude. He ripped the box when opening it and ripped the inside package, he also damaged the sticker seal. He then said to me he couldnt offer me a refund due to it being ‘used’ yet he was the only one who opened it and damaged the packaging. Will be contacting head office and complaining about this store.

Former employee but I’m not being bias, great store with friendly staff. Orders are generally quick outside of the rush hours (usually around midday). Dale (store manager) always willing to assist customers when needed. Overall, no issues what so ever.

Very Poor customer service, very abrupt and not pleasant at all. Could not resolve the problem and was told there was nothing they could do even though the product I purchased was faulty.
I will never shop at argos again, for sure.

Gets a 1 star as can't leave a 0, the shop was empty and i stood at the till waiting to be served. The 2 shop assistants stood talking about new build eco houses.
1 of them went into the back while the other went to the till i was stood at,totally ignored me and started using her phone in front of me...in the end i walked out..disgusting staff behaviour !!

Took an xbox controller back to the netherfield argos because it was the wrong one for my son (cable not wireless)
Dan the manager refused it because it had fingerprints on it and so wasn't fit for resale????

DAN the netherfield argos manager you need a lesson in customer service and I'll be emailing head office to report you
Don't try returning anything to the netherfield argos in Nottingham because DAN the so called manager will just refuse you!

Member of staff Kelly is always on hand to help goes out her way above and beyond to help me get products if not available in the store. Always offers me help to car if need it have a lovely chat when being served at till never rushed my transaction ever no matter how many people are in the que behind me give customers full one on one time makes me ALWAYS feel valued nothing ever seems to be a issue for her.
I no I can always count on a great service if Kelly is in store.
Keep hold of her she is certainly a credit not only to the store but to the whole business we need more of this lady in today's world.

I went to exchange my mobile phone and the manager there who looks about 20 and in a gang was very very RUDE TO ME and said i can't change it hes mixed race with a very bad attitude. So i had to go all the way into town to exchange my phone. What kind of manager is he tellimg customers what they can and cant exchange we aint your child mate SHOW RESPECT.

I picked up a canon camera bought from argos ebay and after two weeks not being happy with its performances I came back to return it. With the product being pristine but obviously opened (no other way to check the perfomance) i was refused the refund because i had a few photos (that could have been easily deleted) on the memory card. Realising the store assistant, the shift manager and I were on different pages I decided to go to another argos (castle marina) where a very nice gentleman solved it straight away. I would've given those two 0 stars but there's no such option

Came in this evening for a television, my partner was umming and arring about what he wanted and was spending a lot of money. Dale was brilliant, came over and told us everything about the different features on the smart TV'S, what 4K meant, HDR etc. Really knowledgeable and really helpful. A credit to the store!

Had an item delivered to Argos for collection from an Ebay supplier that was delivered mid afternoon. I rang the store at 7pm to be told yep we have it, but have been too busy to let you know. I've been in the branch before and never seen more than ten people in there!!

My 84 year father purchased a new 50" wide screen tv from Netherfield Nottingham branch,within 12 hours returned the item as faulty/cracked screen,was made to feel very uncomfortable returning the item saying you should off checked the condition of the product in store after purchasing,he was made to feel like he had caused the damage and was told to take it home and that was really his problem and nothing to do with Argos the retailer.
Even after checking the LG website stating they would honour any breakage claims after 30 days from the purchase date ,After a less than comfortable exchange with a young "half cast operative identified for future training/attitude purposes/disciplinary procedure ".
It was eventually changed for a another tv after conversing with his senior.

Purchased a delonghi kettle about six months ago from the store unfortunately because of moving house i somehow lost the receipt, the kettle wasn't cheap at sixty five pounds and stopped work which isn't what you expect at that price!,when i tried to return the product the store wasn't willing to help at all, after checking to see if they could find my e receipt i was told there was nothing else that could be done the store manager daniel wasn't helpful at all! and after working in customer service ino how important this is. overall i wont be shopping there again and wouldnt recomend to family or friends.

Buy lg g3 was faulty i think its software. Take it back to store guy run it for 2minutes and says no fault reject the item to refound or exchange. Terrible customer service no atitude. I am stuck with faulty product and paid £200 . Argos customer service they dont do nothing because branch own desicion. I dont even know what the customer service there for?

Not a fan of the new concept of numerous TV screens all together and the different lines for different things, all a little confusing. and then to get a staff member not greet you and wait for you to read out your code and then for her to say "give me a minute" - I got more words out of a baby.
