Installed EWT Water Softener last year November 2020 during COVID-19 pandemic . Its been like 6 months now, my entire family including my parents (who came from INDIA for a visit) are just enjoying the softness of water. Drinking water tastes is simply superb and awesome. I would highly recommend this EWT 606/607 Water Softener for family of 4 to 6 people.

I had EWT water softener installed 4 days back. I live in a very hard water area and since the installation, I have noticed what a difference it made! Especially with my kids skin where they had skin rash. Now the skin again becoming normal since it installed. I am very happy with the products which included a drinking filter. The engineer was polite and professional, he was happy to answer any questions, installation fees was competitive and worth spending! Thank you EWT!

I have had the water softener now for around 4 years and happy with it. But this time after I have had it serviced, there is limescale in my kettle and shower heads. Everytime call I'm told it's the wrong number and when I text or email I have no reply.

I will definitely recommend EW Technologies to anyone that needs soft water. I tested the water hardness in my kitchen sink using the strip provided and it's a smiley face (soft water). Very happy!

We have installed a 606 water softener system and a G% drinking water system. Entire process of ordering right upto installation was a breeze. The engineers who installed the systems were knowledgeable and were able to answer all of our questions. We live in a hard water area and since installing these systems, we are enjoying soft and filtered water. Much better than the Brita filters! I highly recommend EWT to all my friends.

We have had so many issues with EWT. They claim to have amazing customer service...we can’t get through on the phone and they don’t reply to emails.
We are still getting limescale in our new home (only 6 months old). The app is useless if you can call it that, it’s just a webpage. Please stop saying you have an app!

Products are ok but communication is really poor. Nobody is picking up calls, they are not responding to emails. Every year I have to chase them to book the regular service and then they turn up without the proper parts for my RO and without salt even though I specifically requested it on the phone.
Edit 22/04/2021: Response to EWT: I have already called (nobody picked up) and emailed that address twice - the first email was sent two weeks ago, the follow up a week ago, no response. How about you reply to customer emails without someone having to leave a bad review?

I've had a water softener from EWT for 5 years now. The water in Norfolk is quite hard and this softener does the job very well. I've had an annual service from EWT which is organised easily on-line when an engineer is in my area. My service engineer has always been very tidy and particularly respectful of my property (he took his shoes off outside the house). What a lovely man.

We recently had the water softener installed in our home. The first impression of the engineer Attila was great - he was warm, friendly and very efficient. He took time to explain how everything operated and nothing was too much of an ask, showed that he really cared.
It has been over a week and we are well impressed with the softener system as we can feel the benefits described by the company on their website and notice the difference in the quality of water.
Highly recommend their product and service.

I compared EWT with other products in the market and found it was much cheaper so gave it a go. I had EWT installed last month and the installation went quickly and smoothly. Got a drink tap installed as well. The water quality and the taste is impressive. Love it!! Hope the customer service in the future would be satisfying as well!

Ordered the 606 system with G1 tap and filter. Ordering was very simple. No payment until install which was great! The price was great to begin with and with the current offer I've got some credits in my account too for future purchases! Throughout the order period I was kept up to date with regular emails and text messages. Confirmation of my appt only came the night before to say my engineer would arrive between 8-10am the next day, which might have been a problem for some people (the late notice) but given the lockdown situation it wasn't a problem and understandable that things are perhaps happening at short notice. Our engineer Alex was excellent. Very friendly, explained the system fully and helped us with what ended up being a slightly awkward install. He also gave me some tips around a tap I was having trouble with! As for the system, its only been a few days so can't comment just yet. But I can see why the ratings for this company are so high from a customer service perspective.

Stay away. My machine was only stalled in February and has started leaking. I have tried to call and was on hold for 2 hours AND NO ONE PICKED UP! Send numerous emails. Not worth it! STAY AWAY!

I have been a customer of ewt for about 7yrs now. I have spoken to them on the phone and no action. Followed up with 2 emails so far, and not even had an acknowledgement. My direct feed tap needs replacing under guarantee as it runs constantly and is making a constant loud noise. So yes, day and night.
Do bear this level of service in mind when choosing your water softener.

I am delighted to report that within a very short space of time, I was contacted by EWT who have out into place steps to resolve the matter so hopefully it will not happen in the future.
I have been with EWT for 8 years and have not previously encountered any problems, so given the quick response and resolution, I feel it would now be inappropriate and have deleted my previous review.
I feel that I should also add that it is refreshing to see the company takes its reviews very seriously.

I have been with EWT for 5 years. I have found their product and service has always been excellent; courteous and professional. From the initial contact with customer services to the installation and regular service of water softner by engineer. Also, great aftercare service with email reminders to check system after service. Living in a hardwater area, this water softner makes all the difference not only when washing clothes and my skin but also to the longevity of my washing machine and dishwasher!

I am writing this review based on my experience for past 3-4 days using the water softener. I was initially confused whether to go with EWT as had not heard much about them also the review on some platform do make you doubt on them but dont be scared reading them. They are around less than half the cost which Harveys would charge and are equally good. I installed the gold series 606 and also got the 3 way tap.
The engineer Attila, was very good and friendly, he is highly skilled at his work and i think he has done a great job in the installation.
Nicole from the sales team was also very helpful and friendly offering us a good deal as we had done a group booking.
Overall i would strongly suggest the product as it is a perfect value for money.

The customer service was very prompt and they were able to take me through the whole process without any issues.
However during installation the under sink door got damaged when removing the dishwasher. And also I requested to have the kitchen tap to have a normal (not softner) water which I was said is possible during placing the order, as I really wanted this option. However during installation I was told this isn't an option. I didn't have any option buthave the softner water in the sink tap as well. My other concern is a plug point was left hanging under the sink to power the G5 unit, however I'm not sure if this is a good idea (I was assured this is OK), given water leaks and moisture during winter months, I've to get this checked with. an independent engineer.

I had no issues with either the ordering or the installation of my water softener. The telephone calls I made were answered promptly and dealt with efficiently. The installer did a great job fitting the Softener into a tight space and his plumbing was excellent. Already the water feels better and I am using less cleaning products around the house and in the bathroom. My skin feels softer too. So although its been a short time I would not hesitate to recommend EWT who provide the same service as other companies but at a much more affordable price. I would only add that the installers are not electricians, so they can only use a plug socket and if your going to need the work of an electrician that needs factoring in. However first class service and I am so glad I chose EWT.

I have been a customer now for many years, I have had several issues over the time but until now all have been dealt with by the companies great engineers well.
Over the past year however I have had the resin holder split 3 times now, blocking filters in all my appliances and electric shower (breaking this completely once - which to be fair the company did help with). There is clearly a fault now and the last engineer said no point to repair again as unit should be replaced. He emailed management on his phone while in my kitchen. Nothing came of this and I called to chase, again promised a call to sort all out but again nothing. I've tried calling twice again but never a manager available and never a call back as requested.
I do not know what is going on at the company but the customer service has definitely gone downhill so much lately that I would no longer be able to recommend this company. It looks like they have a certain amount of time where you are looked after and after this time ends you are ignored.
I am left now with a useless unit that just fills up the cupboard under my sink. This has been the case for weeks now. If by any slim chance EWT do read this, maybe you can contact me... Nothing else seems to work anymore.I
Update : I have now been contacted by EWT, very apologetic for missing my messages and have now replaced my softener with one that works... So normal service finally resumed!
But of a shame took so long to get here but thankfully all now good again and they did fulfil their promise eventually - difficult times for all so we can probably put this blip in service down to that hopefully!

Unfortunately the Engineer didn't turn up on the first visit booking, I waited in and late that day just got a new booking confirmation!, communication could be improved in this respect.

I have now had the water softener since August 2015, I can honestly say it has been the best thing I have ever done. I get a yearly service and it stays/works at optimum level. Its has never given me a problem yet.
Now, due to lockdown my annual allotment of salt bags (which is 5) was definitely not going to last me till August as I'm down to two bags. So, I had to order a further six, (the six bags is a minimum you can order), as we are using more water than usual. I placed an order online and was not sure as to when I was going to receive the bags. On the 4th Jan when offices opened I called the customer service team. They are truly amazing and extremely helpful. I got my bags within a week of the call and am really happy. I love my water softener and I actually recommend to everyone I know and the engineers and drivers who come out for deliveries and services are so good and respectful. it truly works and OMG it saves All our appliances that use water. I haven't had any limescale since 2015. Thankyou.

Booking and installation was very quick,we decided on Thursday and by next Monday we had all the installation completed.. We had a lovely guy called Alex who installed and explained us all the details. The water quality is so good and drinking water taste is another level. Worth every penny and no less performance compare to other costly brands. Customer service is excellent informing us with text messages and alerts. overall very good investment.. If anyone looking is for water softeners, book with them, I bet you won't regret.

I have had the water softener for many years now. Was one of the first to install it and got 2 friends to install as well. Recently had issues with the raisin leaking and blocking my tap. They repaired this twice and third time they changed the whole system. Can't fault them for trying to fix the problem first. Definitely happy with EWT and will recommend them to anyone. To tell you how good they are, when I reported my issue the third time, their service manager rang me personally and said the best solution he recommends is for my system to be changed and they removed the old one and replaced it with a new one. Hopefully the issue is gone now.

Paid for the salt £78 in Jan 12, 2021. But it’s over a month now, they never delivered any salt to our house. We called the customer service many times and finally they answered the call last week and said he will call us back. But he didn’t call you back afterwards. ???? My water softener is running out of salt now.
