Top place. Has a top range of products. The staff are good. Sells a good range of cider and other drinks. 24 hours. Near the station. But beware they don't sell drink to street drinkers. Saying that there is many in the area that will. Clean inside.

I recommend you avoid at all cost. They regularly sell spoiled products without informing the customers, the staff is extremely rude and they follow everyone around and accuse people for stealing for no reason. Worst people I've ever met

I brought a pair of earphones for the gym that didnt work and refused to refund me, This is against the law and they refused to listen and were rude. I shall contact the company. I wasnt asking for my money but literally just a replacement. The security guard lied repeatedly and made stuff up.

Honestly, I kind of liked this place before what happened to me recently.
The staff charged me twice for a cup of coffee and he sad the first one did not go through the machine. However, I could see that I had been charged twice through my online banking account. When I confronted him about this he said ”try and recover your money from the bank, I gave you a receipt” but the receipt was indeed confirming that the transaction was through, and he did not even bother to listen!
If you want to have a supermarket experience with rude staff who overcharges you this is the one for you!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Staff are rude as all hell. Prices soo marked up that's it's almost unbelievablem Staff will follow you everywherw in store and watch what you pick up and even follow you to the till.

It's pretty expensive, sometimes the "fresh" food will make you sick, the aisles are very narrow and not wheelchair or baby pram friendly. Staff aren't very friendly, but I can't say I blame them given where they work. Expect to be stalked by security while you browse around the shop. Microwave, hot drinks machine and slush machine all usually don't work. Good selection of crisps and haribo though!

Staff behind the tills seem friendly, however the store has a weird layout and items are quite expensive. Store is open 24 hours, however unfortunately I won’t be returning due to the £2minimum spent on credit and debit cards. Bearing in mine there is a M&S, Tesco and Sainsbury’s locally, I would recommend using one of these if you just want to pay by card for anything under £2.

So rude.I paid by card to top my electric and gas up, £30 each.First lady could not work machine or speak English so called an Asian lady over.She took my payment and gave me 2 reciepts, both stating a £30 pound top up on electricity. I asked her to rectify it and she said she couldn't. I said l needed gas and she told me to pay more !.l asked to see a manager, her reply..."l am manager".She then said it would take half an hour but l had to catch a train for work.She was so rude,no apology. I asked for head office number and she refused. I will be making a complaint.

Security follows you around arrogantly everywhere you go in the shop. They also once chased me down the street (was wearing headphones, couldn't hear) cause i didn't purchase anything, when i asked if i can help he is like "sorry, there's just so many thieves".
You'd think with the margins they make on a 2 £ can of soda would make their profitability less susceptible to shoplifting, but what do i know.

The aisles are too small and staff are very rude and unfriendly. The only good reviews on here for this shop are from the staff that work here themselves! Do not go in here unless you have to because the security guard will be checking your every move around the shop which is a little rude and creepy.

I was given permission to go and buy alcohol here at 1am on New Years Day no less. The shops should be shut then! Consider revising opening times to ones more inconvenient. Its just ridiculous! 4/5

It is very handy, when you need something late at nigh as it is open 24h however the way the staff is looking at you makes you feel unwelcome. I have heard various people complaining about that, and I experienced it myself when I decided to visit the store 2 weeks ago as I moved in a new house near the train station, Indeed they are following you everywhere you go into the shop and each time you turn your head there are eyes on you. This is a very rude behaviour to your customers and makes me think twice to go there to shop. It is not that cheap either.

Well, after reading reviews I got the same unpleasant experience tonight! The man who served me was so miserable, no sign of liking his job or customers.
He was not nice to deal with, he didn't give me my correct change and I felt I was wrong to challenge him about this. Sorry won't be going in this shop again, unless really desperate.
Budgen's get some decent staff.
