A busy sunny Sunday so we had to queue outside for 10 minutes but no problem. No frills here but it does have a good selection of products. Service at the tills was efficient and quick. Car park has plenty of room always.

Wickes store in South Wigston is only a year or so old. Great store when it opened. I have been a. Couple of times in the last week or so. Fitting new shower room so planning on spending quite a bit. The displays have no prices. I asked for a price and was given a brochure that also has no prices, when queried was told to put a number in on line for the price. Had to leave and go home to find a price. Have just returned today to purchase an electric shower. The displays are in an terrible state. More than half don’t even have a price on I then had a wonder around the bathroom section, it was a right mess. Again many items without a price on. I. Know doubt they will blame the lockdown, I blame poor management. Just not good enough

First time experiencing the brand new store. The premise was very clean and there was plenty of onsite parking. We went in looking for some folding interior doors and a suitable tile drill bit, neither of which they had for sale. They sell plenty of other stuff that you would use around the home and maybe as a trader like hammers, screw drivers and some power tools. They have screws and bolts and variety of timber. There is a large upstairs that showcases their bathroom range. A garden centre is out the back but does not sell any plants, just fencing and gravel which i thought was a bit unusual. Overall i was a little disapppinted with the store. If you want something a little more specialist then look else where.

Had no bags of builders sand on the shelf. Assistant said they had one out in the yard and went and got it for me which I was very grateful for. The one way system meant I walked right round the store to get to the tills.

Great store; woeful management. Have had the wrong opening times in the window for FIVE months now!!! Have tried to buy something twice and failed both times due to staff incompetence as the item i required was on a high shelf and there was no-one who could get it down!

Complete and utter shambles.
The staff are utterly clueless. I ordered my items online and chose the first available delivery slot which was two weeks away.
They took my money, confirmed the order and then the day before left a voicemail message to say the items weren't in stock.
This is sharp practice. It's well known that Wickes are in financial trouble. They are using customers money to bankroll their business.
They will have had my money for 3 weeks - Kerching!
Go to SC*E*FIX instead. They're very professional and more importantly, not in financial difficulties.
Be warned.

Tills stopped working and they couldn't serve anyone. Having worked in retail I know this can occur but it's how you respond. Let customers know the situation so they can choose whether to hang around or not instead of acting as if the customer being served at the time is the only one that exists. The odd friendly staff.

Very poor! Click and collect placed and paid for, no confirmation email, rang and spoke to the store who told me it can be a 4 hour wait which I was fine with, still no email confirmation or order being ready, rang the store back who told me “it may have been a 4 hour wait when we first spoke but the wait time has now changed” still awaiting my goods, money was taken immediately and every time I ring the store they are not willing to help or give me any information, the store closes at 4 o’clock so looks like it’s a days work lost for me now!

Well it's about time wickes gave me some fuel money... the past few days jetting between stores as online it tells me they have lots of sharp sand now in stock.... yet every store I get to it's gone..... miles and miles.... time wasted...wickes you need a better online system....

Was not impressed at my last visit. Staff was not aware where the online pickup queue. Sending us backwards and forwards to different places. Staff were even arguing about that. ☹
