Great campus with lots of things to do on site.

Poor internet connection on a daily basis. I speedtested the WiFi over 2 weeks in different areas of the university, 5 tests in each area (Sanctuary, Forum, Main library, residential areas, business school, Queen's etc) - The average reading was 2 - 5 MBPS for downloads and 5 - 10 MBPS uploads. For context, the UK average is just under 17MBPS download.
I've raised the point countless times and so have many others but nothing is done.
Really quite disgraceful that for £9250 a year I can't even connect to the internet to do research.

This is obvously not the best unviersity ever, although it is quite safe. The hills make going to everywhere just horrible. I find it a decent place if you cannot be accepted in Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, etc. i personally think, a huge amount of money in research should be invested to make the stadards rise.

I've stayed here every year for more than ten years.
It's a wonderful place to come back to after a long day out, and the reception staff are always helpful and approachable. The rooms are well furnished, clean and very affordable and the breakfast is amazing! Had a sibling who studied here and he found it wonderful.
Overall a very enjoyable place to stay, with nice rooms and fantastic views!

this Uni's attitude towards racism is ridiculously disgusting.
rule out a racist provocation despite there are at least 2 victims, called it "no supporting evidence", shutted the case and commented "exhausts the University’s procedures".
this is what u do for reciving £9000 per year,
even state schools have more enthusiasm in tackling racism problems.
