I took my vehicle in for a warranty sensor replacement and health check and I can't commend the team enough, in particularly Joe. I was greeted with a warm welcome and the offer of a coffee and didn't feel rushed at all. The team made things very clear in every step right up until collection. They provided clear instructions of what had been carried out and based on my experience I would high.y recommend them to anyone in the local area. Really positive experience.

Update of my review below. Because of my positive experience I returned to look for a used vehicle. I was hugely assisted in my search by Scott S in sales (is everyone called Scott?). Scott S has been fantastic: knowledgeable, professional, friendly and honest with bags of patience (deciding what I needed and balancing that against what I wanted and could afford took me weeks!). It was a truly enjoyable experience with Scott helping and advising every step of the way. I cannot recommend this garage highly enough, especially Scott S who is a treasure who goes the extra mile. Many thanks to Scott in the Parts Department who has been extremely helpful in rapidly sourcing parts to replace a Lupo wing mirror. Fantastic communications via telephone and email - and he even saw me driving in and fitted the glass element on the spot. Everyone who works in this garage is kind and helpful, but today's praise undoubtedly goes to Scott. Thank you so much.

Had to have my car in as there was a problem with the brakes. The team organised a courtesy car for me which I was able to have for several days whilst my car was being fixed and also to fit in with what was convenient for me. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the branch. Only suggestion I would make is ensuring the courtesy car is fully valeted before giving to customers - the one I drove was lovely but was a bit grubby and smelt of cigarette smoke. Great service tho and reassuring when I was worried about my car. Thanks guys!

It was an extremely good experience visiting the dealership. As soon as I walked to the premises, the mechanics walking out of the garage, greeted me with a ‘Good morning!’ which I didn’t expect. Stuart Collins who handled the process was personable, friendly and really informative. The vehicle health check video emailed was also a bonus, as our car is 12 years old. This proved peace of mind to know the status of the undercarriage of the car plus wheels/brakes etc.

Can honestly say I'm very impressed with this garage. Didn't buy a car here as was sold before I made my mind up, but the service I recieved from Jack Faulkner was faultless. Kevin in the service department was fantastic. As soon as I arrived he offered to take my bags for me. Fast, efficient service with basic language. No jargon. He said he would call me with an update and he kept his promise. Sure enough a phone call with a thorough explanation. As I couldn't get back to pick my car up in Monday he arranged for a driver to bring my car back to me at my work and collect the courtesy car they kindly loaned me. First class service, easy, reliable and friendly. Thanks Kevin! 5 stars from me!

We recently bought a car from Dom at the Towcester Volkswagon. We were incredibly impressed with Dom and he was a big reason as to why we bought the car. For a young man he is incredibly bright, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for Dom and he seemed genuinely interested in helping us. Dom went the extra mile on a number of occasions including responding to us out of normal hours and even coming to drop off our new car mats after work. The experience of buying the car was made simple and easy and I will recommend the garage and Dom specifically to anyone.

I have bought my last 3 cars from VW Towcester and had my cars serviced here for many years. The staff are friendly and give you as much time as you need to make a decision as to a purchase. They listen and tailor advice to suit the individual. You are made to feel a valued customer and quite honestly I would not go anywhere else. Just today my daughter mentioned to the retail manager that it is my 10th wedding anniversary tomorrow and he presented us with a bottle of champagne!! Highly recommended. And thank you.

Used them for years and always a first class job. The only problem is the awful call centre which takes all the booking for the group. 15 minute wait to book a service! Try the branch direct and the sales team sometimes pick up the call and just divert you to the call centre. Lancaster please sort this out I drive past Parkway to get to you, the staff are OK the system just does not work.

Kev was fantastic and made my visit so very short and friendly regarding a car I had booked in for a service, the only issue I had is I was offered a complementary clean from inside/out but it was t cleaned from the inside. Although that being said I wasn't expecting a clean at all so I was happy anyway. Overall I would give them 96% out 100%.

Would have given 6 stars if possible....... from the first phone call to the collecting of the car was outstanding!! We had great pleasure in working with Robert from the beginning to the end (He even gave up some of his day off to make sure we were happy with the car on collection day). As we were traveling from Plymouth, we constantly had phone calls, emails and personal videos of the car and progress reports through out the entire transaction. on arrival at the garage we were warmly welcomed and offered a drink. We went through the entire car and paper work to make sure we were 100% happy with everything. I absolutely love the car but is was made better by the customer service also given. Will be Highly recommending them and will also be going back to them once i require another car!! thanks for all your help Robert and all the best for the future for you and your family. Absolutely THRILLED with the service provided when my Polo got taken into Towcester VW to be repaired although purchased at another dealership. service was fine everything seemed ok promise the full service upon receiving the car was fine for a few days had a few issues nothing big had it looked at to be told they never fully service the car so had to pay out for bits and bobs to sort problems went back to them regarding it been on the warranty they basically didn't care told me they will look into the matter never did and any further problems go to Ford and then make a claim and they may pay me back unfortunately its not good enough from them the aftercare is shocking will not be buying a car from them again

My honest, in depth and concise review from five months ago was taken down by them, that in itself says it all. One point I'd like to make, the mechanic at Lancaster said he couldn't get the ecu on our EOS to talk with his computer, which meant it needed replacement, not cheap I might add. But our mechanic has had no problems with it and the car is still OK five months or more later. Incidentally my earlier review they didn't bother answering it just disappeared. That's OK I'm not bitter but it's good to talk.

The call centre booked a courtesy car, but a conflicting text was sent, on calling back I was advised that a courtesy car had not been booked and so I had to rearrange the appointment and wait while my car was serviced. On the occasion of the second call to the call centre I was advised that my car was covered by a service plan, this turned out not to be the case. It turned out that the text was to confirm the time work would start on my car and that a courtesy car had been arranged for the previous evening as requested, so the appointment did not need to have been rearranged. The work was done quickly and as far as I can tell properly. There needs to be better communication between the call centre and the garage, and staff need to communicate with each other, also give correct information re. service plans and texts should confirm arrangements not give the impression of different arrangements.

I delivered the car, as requested, at 0900. I then had a call at lunchtime to say that it was being washed in readiness for the service and MOT, but it still was not completed by closing time and had to stay there overnight. I happen to be retired but if I had lost a day's pay unnecessarily, I would have been very unhappy. Stuart was as helpful as he could be and delivered the car back the following morning as promised, but I feel that no-one else had any interest whatsoever in providing service. I have bought and serviced all my cars since 1990 from Wayside Towcester, but sadly this will be the last time.

The new aftersales manager Bryan Cook is trying really hard to get repeat custom with a view to winning new work. He has changed my opinion on the Towcester branch and his efforts and enthusiastic drive to do the right thing are a credit too him.
