I first visited Jardine when it was a VW dealership just to have a look at what they had. I ended up buying, some months later, through the same original salesperson I spoke to after they changed to Jardine. The service I received was top notch and I can’t recommend them enough. Craig Allen was who I dealt with as the main point of contact as well as Sarah Moseley for some after sales bits. Craig showed a genuine interest during my first visit in finding me the right car without any hard sell techniques and not trying to put me a car just to secure a sale. His approach was refreshing and made me go back to see him personally some months later when I was ready to buy. The whole process and the service I received felt like it was focused around me as the buyer, not just a car purchase that they were benefiting from. The regular updates by email/phone call/video message were timely and not over the top. If you are in the market for a quality used car and want a genuinely fantastic service, I would 100% recommend speaking to Craig at Jardine.

He was remarkably honest, and remained professional whilst informal, and absolutely went out of his way to get the car (approved used 19 plate Polo) ready for us in a very short space of time! Craig Allan and Sanjay Kapur thank you both ever so much in helping me with purchasing my new golf! They were very accommodating with what I wanted and were able to find the right car for me. The whole experience with them was very relaxed. Craig is fantastic, when the car arrived he was able to set everything up on it ready to go. On the day he was able to show me everything in the car and set up my phone, navigation etc... and ensured I was happy before leaving. We met with Vince on a Sunday which was his day off and he was very thorough and patient as we had our kids with us. He listened so what we wanted which they didn’t have on site but made sure it was their at the earliest convenient, filler it with petrol and when we collected our new car. Disappointed with poor sales service. Purchased a few months old car from here in December and part exchanged my existing vehicle. Had several issues which have not been rectified properly: Was told by the sales rep that they would deal with all the paperwork and post my V5 to the DVLA etc. My existing vehicle had almost a full 6 months tax so was expecting a nice refund from the DVLA. After a few months the cheque eventually came through for next to nothing. Queried this with the DVLA and they told me they had never received the V5 for my old vehicle until March - 3 months after I had part exchanged it to to Jardine! Disgusting - the car was STILL registered in my name after sitting on the forecourt for 3 months which I am pretty sure is illegal and all due to the poor sales team here. Was offered a refund on the tax but it is now June and I am still waiting! When purchasing the second hand vehicle which was under a year old, I was promised a full tank of fuel which never materialised - the tank was half full. As it was 3 days before Christmas I just accepted the car and said nothing, after all its only £25 but don't make promises you can't keep. From the day I had the vehicle it was clear that it had not been cleaned properly: there was a gift bag in the glove compartment, parking tickets on the windscreen and the interior smelt like dustbin combined with cheap aftershave. Not off to a great start. Within a week or two of having the vehicle I had issues with the coolant and steering which Jardine fobbed me off with (probably because I am female is the feeling I had). I was assured the car had been serviced prior to purchase and assured as part of the service that the coolant level was checked, however after a few weeks of owning the car I had to top up the coolant level as it was well below minimum. Eventually Jardine agreed to send the car to another VW garage for them to have a look. I was told on the phone the car would be put on the back of a transporter, not driven but when I chased the service team it turned out the service team were driving to collect the car! My vehicle is a top of the range sports car, yet the courtesy car I was offered was a pretty bottom of the range and basic golf which I had for well over a week. In addition to this I left the car with almost a full tank of fuel and they returned it to me with the fuel light on after racking up 300 miles on my car. It felt like the garage didn't actually look into the issues as the issue with the steering is still present. Definitely would not purchase another car from here again as it has been nothing but stress and I am not holding my breath that I will ever see the refund I am due for Jardine motors having a car registered in my name sat on their forecourt for 3 months!

I found the whole process of buying my new car very easy and i am absolutely delighted with it. The sales executive Michael Goodwin was extremely helpful throughout the whole process from the very beginning when i first visited, and nothing was too much trouble. I am particularly pleased with the after sales customer service and I have returned on a couple of occasions to seek further guidance on a couple of items on the car i wasn't too sure about. At all times Michael has been most helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending Lancaster Towcester using my experience as the reason.

Obtain a second opinion before having ANY work carried out by Towcester Volkswagen. I was told that all of my brake pads AND disks needed replacing. Around £700 + VAT. I had everything checked by an independent and none of the pads were more than 50% worn and there were no steps, cracks or other damage to any of the disks. I'd used them before for servicing and had no issues with the quality of work but after this experience steered well clear.

Brought car in for a service on 1 August as arranged. Expected to get car back same day but told later in day that work had not been started and car would not be worked on until 2 August. Phoned in 2 August and told car would be ready by noon. Wanted brake fluid changed so felt that may be later than noon. Heard nothing so drove to Towcester at 3pm and told brake fluid not changed as yet. Said that I would walk my dog for an hour and come back. Car was ready at 4. Appreciate things happen.
