We got the salesman with L plates. Nice enough guy but we're still trying to get paperwork sorted. Generally it's a great place - my daughter uses a wheelchair and all of the staff were so helpful in helping us choose the right car. We'll use them again.

Excellent service our salesperson James was excellent with knowledge of both the vehicle and the best form of action to take wether it be finance or pcp it was all explained with all the pros and cons of each so we could make an informed decision definitely recommended to my friends and family and will definitely be back to Robins and day for our next car we look forward to dealing with James again

Bought a demo car MC19 RDU for over 15K off this company. a) Advised of wheel damage on delivery on day of delivery within 10 mins of delivery of the car from Liverpool to Newport, South Wales. . Phoned 3 times and was told by Sales person it will be fixed. But it was not. b) Informed dealer of scratch to windscreen. Spoke to Used Car Sales Manager who was very clear they were not liable for this. At this time, the car had done just 200 miles. I suspect that it is because the windscreen would have had to be replaced, so send it out as it is let the customer pay for the new windscreen. c) A week or so before lockdown the spanner icon appeared on the dash. The following week the service light appeared. I had specifically asked Sales person whether the car had been serviced prior to delivery he said yes. However, after only approx. 450 miles the service light is on. My advice do not buy a car which is delivered to you from them. Appalling service level.

Myself and my family have been buying and servicing our cars here for many years now, but over the past year or so I must admit the customer service and the actual car servicing has gone from bad to worse, my recent experience was a couple of weeks ago, when my car was booked in for its first service, on arrival at the main agents, I was told with No apology that the loan car I had booked, was not available, not even a curticy call so I could make other arrangements, upon collection the service book was stamped, but no service or health check documents were given, so I don't know the exact state of my vehicle, it wasn't valeted, the car had been parked near to where grass cutting was done and the off side of the car was covered in grass cuttings, all in all a bad experience around.

Took my car in for a diagnosis fault check, although they were unable to detect the fault during the booking(although it's still occurring). The customer service on visit was great and the process was very smooth, the advisor made sure I was comfortable with the hire car and was willing to show me the workings of the car, however I did not need this. However trying to get in touch with the dealership via phone is an absolute nightmare as it rings out numerous times and after some time it gets diverted off to a main call centre and then you end up going in a never ending loop as they forward the call back to the dealership. Ended up taking me 37mins to speak to someone, actually speaking to someone at the dealership took 5mins.

I visited Robins & Day ( Mill Lane Liverpool ) with my family in search of a new car. Upon arrival I was greeted and made to feel extremely welcome by a member of staff named Michael Mannheim. I am an autistic adult with a range of difficulties one of wich includes anxiousness. I was so comfortable when dealing with Michael, I had absoluetly no anxiety whatsoever. Michael has a very approachable aura and is an excellent salesperson. He explained everything I needed in detail and made sure that I was confident when coming to decisions and making choices. If I had not been welcomed by Michael I maybe would have gone elsewhere to look for a vehicle, however I must also add that the staff at Robins & Day Mill Lane were very accomodating and this as a whole made me beleive that making Peugout was definately the car I wanted and the car I needed. Thank you so much for all of your help.

Terrific experience for buying my daughters first car from Robins and Day Liverpool. The salesman “John” was friendly knowledgeable flexible and not pushy at all. Did not have to negotiate too hard for what we wanted either. Accommodated us on the handover as it was blowing a gale outside so took the vehicle inside. Really appreciated the time spent with us. Felt like all we had to do was say we wanted the Car and everything else was done. No fuss and a good deal. Thank you for everything and we will be back soon.

Excellent service from Robins and Day in Liverpool. I was completely bamboozled by the whole process of buying a car and using finance. I didn't know how to go about it and I was worried I might get sold something I didn't really want or need. The people at Robins and Day were amazing particularly John McVey. I knew what car I wanted to purchase and he supported me through the whole process of buying my car, financing it, taxing it and so on. He even put petrol in my new car when I came to collect it, all I had to do was insure my new car and off I went. He talked through everything with me making sure I understood each step along the way. Most importantly for me he managed to create me a deal that came in a fair bit under my maximum monthly budget of what I was prepared to pay. I was worried as an inexperienced female that the salespeople may pressure me or tie me into something that was not beneficial for me, but this really wasn't the case. John gave me time to sleep on things and allowed me to come back the next day for a test drive and to make a final decision. Used car salesmen usually get bad press and I have had a bad experience myself, but not at Robins and Day, a reputable company with a reputable workforce. Couldn't recommend highly enough, thank you for making buying my new car a stress free no hassle experience. I love my new car!!!!!!!!!

Hi , I bought one used ford grand cmax from robins and day Liverpool , mill lane , in April 2019 . The first day when I go to purchase the car , they told me ,the car just came so we need service and inspection before we sell and after one week I came back I purchased that car . The next day I realised the car air conditioning not working and when I turn steer fully right there is a small sound comes and some times some abnormal sound coming from engine. The next day I go back and I met the sales man and ask these things . So he told me you don’t worry it’s under 1 year Peugeot warranty .and that time it’s too hot time so I complain only the air conditioning problems. It’s took nearly 4 weeks to get appointment and get ready . And now last few weeks the abnormal sound going very highly. So I went today to showroom and told these thing . But they are told me it’s not under warranty and they want to strip the gearbox and need charge for that as well . My car having complaints ( drive shaft and fly wheel ) . My conclusion is these complaints already having this car when I purchased, and they are not check any thing about this car before selling to me . And they sold a faulty car to me .And the sales man promised me the car having one year warranty. I believe that word and I didn’t do a test drive as well . So beware

Looking for a test drive, no record of our appointment, waiting for over 10 minutes on the phone only to be told to just pop in. *popped in * waited 25 minutes with no acknowledgement at all, staff eventually came out of the office and went straight over to customers who came in after we did. We were ready to by a Peugeot 5008 and thats what we still intend to do ,just not from here. Rude.

My wife and I were looking to buy our first good car from a dealership, and we were definitely well looked after a given every bit of assistance that we needed to pick the perfect car. Me being picky i had to sit in a few before we found the right one. Jamie was fantastic and talked us through everything that we didn't fully understand and helped us figure out all the perks and deals that we would need for our needs, he was an excellent help for us from test drive to contract and finally receiving the keys to our new car. In the future I would definitely go back to these guys for any car enquiries before considering anywhere else... they were extremely good and helpful.
